| 1義人，你們應向上主踴躍歡呼，因為正直的人，理應讚美上主。 | 1Rejoice in the Lord, you who are just, praise is fitting for the upright. |
| 2你們該彈琴，稱謝上主，彈奏十絃琴，讚頌上主。 | 2Give thanks to him on the harp and lyre, making melody and chanting praises. |
| 3你們應向他高唱新歌，在歡呼聲中奏琴吟哦， | 3Amid loud shouts of joy, sing to him a new song and play the ten-stringed harp. |
| 4因為上主的言語是正直的，他的一切作為都是忠實的； | 4For upright is the Lord's word and worthy of trust is his work. |
| 5他愛護正義和公理，他的慈愛瀰漫大地。 | 5The Lord loves justice and righteousness; the earth is full of his kindness. |
| 6因天主的一句話，諸天造成；因上主的一口氣，萬象生成。 | 6The heavens were created by his word, the breath of his mouth formed their starry host. |
| 7他把海水好似聚於皮囊，他將汪洋好似貯於池塘。 | 7He gathered the waters of the sea into a heap, and stored the deep in cellars. |
| 8願整個大地敬畏上主，願普世居民畏懼上主， | 8Let the whole earth fear the Lord, let the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. |
| 9因為他一發言，萬有造成，他一出命，各物生成。 | 9For he spoke and so it was, he commanded, and everything stood firm. |
| 10上主使異邦的計劃無緒，使萬民的策略廢去。 | 10The Lord frustrates the plans of the nations and brings to nothing the peoples' designs. |
| 11上主的計劃卻永恒不變，他心中的謀略萬世常傳。 | 11But his plan stands forever, and his heart's design through all generations. |
| 12尊上主為自己天主的民族，真是有福！上主選為自己產業的百姓，真是有福！ | 12Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord - the people he has chosen for his inheritance. |
| 13上主由高天監臨，注視亞當的子孫； | 13The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole race of mortals. |
| 14他由自己的居處，視察大地的眾庶： | 14From where he sits he watches all those who dwell on the earth - |
| 15他既創造了眾人的心靈，當然知曉人的一切言行。 | 15he who fashions every heart observes all their deeds. |
| 16帝王不是因兵多而取勝，勇士不是因力大而保命。 | 16A king is not saved by a powerful army, nor a warrior rescued by his great strength. |
| 17為獲勝利，駿馬仍是徒然，氣力雖大，依舊難獲安全。 | 17Don't think that a horse will save you; its great strength does not assure victory. |
| 18請看，上主的眼睛常關注敬畏他的人，他的雙目常眷顧靠他仁慈的人， | 18But the Lord's eyes are upon those who fear him, upon those who trust in his loving-kindness |
| 19為使他們的性命，脫免死亡，使他們在饑饉時，生活如常。 | 19to deliver them from death and preserve them from famine. |
| 20我們的靈魂仰望着上主，他是我們的保障和扶助； | 20In hope we wait for the Lord, for he is our help and our shield. |
| 21我們的心靈要因他而喜樂歡暢，在他的聖名內寄托我們的希望。 | 21Our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name. |
| 22上主，求你向我們廣施慈愛，有如我們對你所存的期待。 | 22O Lord, let your love rest upon us, even as our hope rests in you. |
