| 1達味詩歌，交與樂官。 | 1With resolve I waited for the Lord; he listened and heard me beg. |
| 2我熱切誠懇地期待了上主，他便垂顧俯聽了我的哀訴。 | 2Out of the horrid pit he drew me, out of deadly quicksand. He settled my feet upon a rock and made my steps steady. |
| 3他把我從禍坑與污泥中救出，放我在磐石上，穩定我的腳步。 | 3He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and be awed and put their trust in the Lord. |
| 4他將新歌置於我口，為讚美我們的天主；眾人見了起敬起畏，都將全心信賴上主。 | 4Blessed is the one who relies on the Lord and does not look to the proud nor go astray after false gods. |
| 5凡全心依靠上主，不對傲慢傾慕，且又不依附虛偽的，這人真有福！ | 5How numerous, O Lord, are your wonderful deeds! In your marvelous plans for us you are beyond compare! How many they are - I cannot tell them or count their number. |
| 6上主，我的天主！你行的奇蹟異事，真令人不知幾許！你對我們的計劃，無人能與你相輔，我縱願宣揚申述，也多得不可勝數。 | 6Sacrifice and oblation you did not desire; this you had me understand. Burnt offering and sin offering you do not require. |
| 7犧牲與素祭已非你所喜，就開了我的耳朵；全燔之祭以及贖罪之祭，也巳非你所要。 | 7Then I said, "Here I come! as the scroll says of me. |
| 8於是我說：「你看，我已到來！關於我，書卷上已有記載： | 8To do your will is my delight, O God, for your law is within my heart." |
| 9我的天主，承行你的旨意為我所喜愛，你的法律常存於我的心懷。」 | 9In the great assembly I have proclaimed your saving help. My lips, O Lord, I did not seal - you know that very well. |
| 10在盛大的集會中，我宣揚了你的正義，看，我並沒有閉口不言，上主，你全知悉。 | 10I have not locked up in my heart your saving help, but have spoken about it - your deliverance and your faithfulness; I have made no secret of your truth and your kindness in the great assembly. |
| 11我從沒有將你的正義隱蔽在心間，對你的忠厚和救援時時各處宣傳；對於你的慈愛和忠義，在盛會中我沒有隱蔽， | 11Do not withhold from me, O Lord, your mercy; let your love and faithfulness preserve me constantly. |
| 12上主，求你對我不要撤回你的憐憫，願你的慈愛和忠誠對我時加保存。 | 12For troubles beyond number have closed in on me; I am all covered by sins and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and I am losing courage. |
| 13因為，四周困迫我的災禍，實在不可勝數；我的罪過緊握着我，使我無法目睹；數目比我頭髮還多，真使我心痛苦。 | 13May it please you, O Lord, to rescue me. Make haste, O Lord, to help me! |
| 14上主，求你開恩救我，上主，求你速來助我。 | 14May those who seek my life be brought to shame and disgrace; may those who want me destroyed be turned back in confusion. |
| 15願那些謀圖殺害我的人，一同蒙恥受辱，願那些喜歡我遭難的人，一起含羞退走！ | 15May those who taunt me with, "Aha, aha!" be filled with shame and consternation. |
| 16願那些哈哈戲笑我的人，都滿面羞慚地驚惶失神！ | 16But may all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; and may all who love your saving grace continually say, "The Lord is great." |
| 17願那些尋求你的人，都因你歡欣鼓舞，願戀慕你救恩的人，都常說：「大哉上主！」 | 17Though I am afflicted and poor, yet the Lord thinks of me. You are my help and my savior - O Lord, do not delay! |
| 18我雖然卑微貧苦，我主卻對我眷顧；你是我的助佑，我的救援，我的天主，求你不要遲延。 | 18 |
