| 1達味詩歌，交與樂官。 | 1Blessed the one who has regard for the poor; the Lord delivers him in time of trouble. |
| 2眷顧貧窮人的人，真是有福，患難時日，他必蒙上主救助。 | 2The Lord protects him, preserves his life, and gives him happiness in the land; he yields him not to the will of his foes. |
| 3上主必保護他，賜他生存，在世上蒙福，決不將他交給他的仇敵而任敵所欲。 | 3The Lord helps him when he gets sick, and heals him of all his ailments. |
| 4他呻吟床榻，上主給他支援，他患病時，必使他轉危為安。 | 4I have pleaded, "O Lord, have mercy on me; heal me, in spite of all my iniquity." |
| 5我曾哀求你：「上主，求你憐憫我，」「求你治癒我，因為我得罪了你。」 | 5My enemies ask of me in malice, "When will he die and his name perish?" When they come in to see, they talk emptily gathering slanderous gossip. No sooner have they left, that they tell their comments. |
| 6我的仇敵反而惡言辱罵我說：「他何時死，他的名字幾時泯滅？」 | 6Then all my enemies whisper together, imagining the worst for me: |
| 7前來探訪我的人，只以虛言相待，其實是心懷惡意，出去便說出來。 | 7"A deadly disease has fastened on him. He will never get up again!" |
| 8恨我的人，個個竊竊私議，咒我遭殃生疾： | 8Even my most trusted friend, with whom I shared my food, has lifted his heel against me. |
| 9「願他身患惡疾！願他一病不起！」 | 9But you, O Lord, have mercy on me; lift me up to give them recompense. |
| 10連我素來信賴的知心友好，吃過我飯的人，也舉腳踢我。 | 10This will assure me that I enjoy your favor: if my enemies do not triumph over me, |
| 11上主，求你可憐我，使我病除，為使我能對他們加以復仇。 | 11if you uphold my integrity and let me stand in your presence forever. |
| 12我以此作為你真愛我的記號：就是不讓我的敵人向我誇耀； | 12Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, from all eternity and forever! Amen. Amen! |
| 13你時常保持我無災無難，使我永遠站在你的面前。 | 13 |
| 14願上主，以色列天主，受讚頌，自永遠直到永遠，阿們，阿們！ | 14 |
