| 1達味詩歌，作於飄流在猶大曠野時。 | 1O God, you are my God, it is you I seek; for you my body longs and my soul thirsts, as a dry and weary land without water. |
| 2天主，你是我的天主，我急切尋覓你；我的靈魂渴慕你，我的肉身切望你，我有如一塊乾旱涸竭的無水田地。 | 2Thus have I gazed upon you in the sanctuary, to see your power and your glory. |
| 3昔日我曾在聖殿裏瞻仰過你，為看到你的威能，和你的光輝； | 3Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. |
| 4因你的慈愛比命更寶貴，我的唇舌要時常稱頌你。 | 4I will bless you as long as I live, lift up my hands and call on your name. |
| 5我要一生一世讚美你，我要因你名把手舉起！ | 5As with the richest food my soul will feast; my mouth will praise you with joyful lips. |
| 6我的靈魂好似飽享了膏脂，我要以歡愉的口唇讚美你。 | 6When I remember you on my bed I think of you all through the night, |
| 7當我在我床上想起了你時，我便徹夜不寐地默想着你。 | 7for you have been my help; I sing in the shadow of your wings. |
| 8因為你曾作了我的助佑，我要在你的羽翼下歡舞。 | 8My soul clings to you, your right hand upholds me. |
| 9我的靈魂緊緊追隨你，你的右手常常扶持我。 | 9In vain they are after my life, they will go down to the depths of the earth; |
| 10那些謀圖陷害我命的人，必將墮落在地下的深層； | 10they will be delivered to the sword, and become the prey of jackals. |
| 11他們必為刀劍所殺死，也必然為野犬所分食。 | 11The king will rejoice in God. All who swear by God's name will boast: "At last slanderers' tongues have been silenced." |
| 12但是君王必要因天主而喜慶；凡以天主宣誓的人，必要自幸，因為說謊的口，必要瘖啞失聲。 | 12 |
