| 1這事以後，我看見了四位天使，站在大地的四角上，握住地上的四股風，不讓風吹向大地、海洋和各種樹木。 | 1After this, there were four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds to prevent their blowing against the earth, the sea and the trees. |
| 2我又看見了另一位天使，從太陽出升之地上來，拿著永生天主的印，大聲向那領了傷害大地和海洋權柄的四位天使呼喊， | 2I saw another angel ascending from the sunrise, carrying the seal of the living God, and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels empowered to harm the earth and the sea, |
| 3說：「你們不可傷害大地、海洋和樹木，等我們在我們天主的眾僕額上，先蓋上印。」 | 3"Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads." |
| 4以後，我聽見蓋了印的數目：在以色列子孫各支派中蓋了印的，共有十四萬四千。 | 4Then I heard the number of those marked with the seal: a hundred and forty-four thousand from all the tribes of the people of Israel: |
| 5由猶大支派中蓋上印的有一萬二千；勒烏本支派一萬二千；加得支派一萬二千； | 5from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed; from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand; |
| 6阿協爾支派一萬二千；納斐塔里支派一萬二千；默納協支派一萬二千； | 6from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand; |
| 7西默盎支派一萬二千；肋未支派一萬二千；依撒加爾支派一萬二千； | 7from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand; |
| 8則步隆支派一萬二千；若瑟支派一萬二千；由本雅明支派中蓋上印的有一萬二千。 | 8from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand. |
| 9在這些事以後，我看見有一大夥群眾，沒有人能夠數清，是來自各邦國、各支派、各民族、各異語的，他們都站在寶座和羔羊面前，身穿白衣，手持棕櫚枝， | 9After this I saw a great crowd, impossible to count, from every nation, race, people and tongue, standing before the throne and the Lamb, clothed in white, with palm branches in their hands, |
| 10大聲呼喊說：「救恩來自那坐在寶座上的我們的天主，並來自羔羊！」 | 10and they cried out with a loud voice, "Who saves but our God who sits on the throne and the Lamb?" |
| 11於是所有站在寶座、長老和那四個活物周圍的天使，在寶座前俯伏於地，朝拜天主， | 11All the angels were around the throne, the elders and the four living creatures; they then bowed before the throne with their faces to the ground to worship God. |
| 12說：「阿們。願讚頌、光榮、智慧、稱謝、尊威、權能和勇毅，全歸於我們的天主，至於無窮之世。阿們。」 | 12They said, Amen. Praise, glory, wisdom, thanks, honor, power and strength to our God forever and ever. Amen! |
| 13長老中有一位問我說：「這些穿白衣的人是誰？他們是從那裏來的？」 | 13At that moment, one of the elders spoke up and said to me, "Who are these people clothed in white, and where did they come from?" |
| 14我回答他說：「我主，你知道。」於是他告訴我說：「這些人是由大災難中來的，他們曾在羔羊的血中洗淨了自己的衣裳，使衣裳雪白， | 14I answered, "Sir, it is you who know this." The elder replied, "They are those who have come out of the great persecution; they have washed and made their clothes white in the blood of the Lamb. |
| 15因此，他們得站在天主的寶座前，且在他的殿宇內日夜事奉他；那坐在寶座上的，也必要住在他們中間。 | 15This is why they stand before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his sanctuary. He who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. |
| 16他們再也不餓，再也不渴，烈日和任何炎熱，再也不損傷他們， | 16Never again will they suffer hunger or thirst or be burned by the sun or any scorching wind. |
| 17因為，那在寶座中間的羔羊要牧放他們，要領他們到生命的水泉那裏；天主也要從他們的眼上拭去一切淚痕。」 | 17For the Lamb near the throne will be their Shepherd, and he will bring them to springs of life-giving water, and God will wipe away their tears." |
