| 2願君以熱吻與我接吻！因為你的愛撫甜於美酒。 | 2Shower me with kisses of your mouth: your love is more delicious than wine |
| 3你的香氣芬芳怡人，你的令名香液四射，為此少女都愛慕你。 | 3Your oil smells sweeter than any perfume, your name spreads out like balm; no wonder the maidens long for you. |
| 4願你拉着我隨你奔跑！君王，願你引我進你的內室；我們都要因你歡樂踴躍，讚歎你那甜於酒的愛撫；怪不得眾少女都愛慕你！ | 4Lure me to you, let us fly! bring me, O king, into your room, and be our joy, our excitement. We will praise your caresses more than wine, how rightly are you loved. |
| 5耶路撒冷女郎！我雖黑，卻秀麗，有如刻達爾的帳棚，又似撒耳瑪的營幕。 | 5I am sunburned yet lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, dark as the tents of Kedar, as the tent curtains of Solomon. |
| 6你們不要怪我黑，是太陽曬黑了我。我母親的兒子向我發怒，派我去看守葡萄園；而我自己的葡萄園，我卻沒有去看守。 | 6Stare not at my dark complexion; it is the sun that has darkened me. My mother's sons were angry with me and made me work in the vineyards; for I had failed to tend my own. |
| 7我心愛的！請告訴我：你在那兒放羊？中午又在那兒臥羊？別令我在你伴侶的羊群間，獨自徘徊！ | 7Tell me, my soul's beloved, where do you graze your flock, where do you rest your sheep at noon? Why must I be wandering beside the flocks of your companions? |
| 8女中的佳麗！你若不知道，出去跟蹤羊群的足跡，靠近牧人的帳棚，牧放你的小羊。 | 8If you do not know yourself, most beautiful woman, follow the tracks of the flock and pasture your young goats beside the shepherds' tents. |
| 9我的愛卿！我看你好似牝馬，套在法郎的御車上。 | 9To a mare in Pharaoh's chariot would I liken you, my love. |
| 10你的雙頰配以耳環，你的頸項繞以珠鏈，何其美麗！ | 10Your cheeks look lovely between pendants, your neck beautiful with strings of beads. |
| 11我們要為你製造金鏈，嵌上銀珠。 | 11We will make you earrings of gold and necklaces of silver. |
| 12君王正在坐席的時候，我的香膏已放出清香。 | 12While the king rests on his couch, my perfume gives forth its fragrance. |
| 13我的愛人有如沒藥囊，常繫在我的胸前； | 13My lover is for me a sachet of myrrh lying between my breasts. |
| 14我的愛人有如鳳仙花，生在恩革狄葡萄園中。 | 14My lover is for me a cluster of henna from the vineyards of Engedi. |
| 15我的愛卿，你多麼美麗，多麼美麗！你的雙眼有如鴿眼。 | 15How beautiful you are, my love, how beautiful! Your eyes are doves! |
| 16我的愛人，你多麼英俊，多麼可愛！我們的床榻，是青綠的草地。 | 16How handsome you are, my love, how handsome! Our bed is ever green! |
| 17香松作我們的屋樑，扁柏作我們的屋椽。 | 17The beams of our house are cedar, our rafters are fir. |
