2我的愛人到自己的花園,到香花畦去了,好在花園中牧羊,採摘百合花。 | 2My lover has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to pasture his flock in the garden and to gather lilies. |
3我屬於我的愛人,我的愛人屬於我,他在百合花間,牧放他的羊群。 | 3My lover is mine, and I am his; he shepherds his flock among the lilies. |
4我的愛卿!你美麗有如提爾匝,可愛有如耶路撒冷,莊嚴有如齊整的軍旅。 | 4My love, you are lovely as Tirzah, beautiful as Jerusalem, majestic as bannered troops. |
5轉過你的眼去,不要看我,因為你的眼使我迷亂;你的頭髮猶如由基肋阿得山下來的一群山羊。 | 5Turn your eyes away from me for they bewitch me. Your hair is like a flock of goats streaming down the heights of Gilead. |
6你的牙齒像一群浴後上來的母綿羊,都懷有雙胎,沒有不生育的。 | 6Your teeth are like sheep coming in droves from the washing, each one opposing its twin, not one has been left alone. |
7你隱在面紗後的兩頰,有如分裂兩半的石榴。 | 7Your cheeks behind your veil are like halves of a pomegranate. |
8皇后六十,嬪妃八十,少女無數; | 8Sixty queens, eighty concubines, virgins beyond number - |
9但是,我的鴿子,我的完人,只有一個;她是她母親的獨生女,她是生養她者的愛女;少女見了她,都稱她有福,皇后與嬪妃也都讚揚她。 | 9but my dove, my perfect one, is unique, the only daughter and favorite of her mother. She was called blessed by the virgins and praised by queens and concubines: |
10「那上升如晨曦,美麗似月亮,光耀若太陽,莊嚴如齊整軍旅的,是誰?」 | 10"Who is this coming like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, majestic as bannered troops?" |
11我下到核桃園中,要欣賞谷中的新綠,看看葡萄樹是否發了芽,石榴樹是否開了花? | 11I went to the nut orchard to look over the valley in bloom, to see if the vines had flowered, or if the pomegranates had blossomed. |
12不知不覺,我的熱誠催促我登上了我民主上的御駕。 | 12Before I became aware of it, my desire had set me on the chariot with the daughter of the prince. |
10寓意 第四幕(5:2-6:10)又暗示充軍期後猶太人的心景。有些猶太人由於貪戀世物,仍留在巴比倫,不肯回歸許地;在回歸者當中,有熱心事奉天主,有的卻疏懶懈怠,對天主不忠(見第二幕寓意)。凈配──上主──終於來照顧自己新娘,給了她自己愛情的憑據(純正的沒藥);可是因新娘對新郎的熱情未夠熱烈,新郎便逃遁了,等待她悔悟了再去找他。新娘果真悔悟,並因愛成疾。新娘這番悔悟的熱情,也見於所謂「依撒意亞的默示錄」裏(依24-27,特別是26:8,9,16,19)。此「默示錄」可能著於公元前四八五年左右,大約與「雅歌」為同時代的作品;那年薛西斯毀滅了巴比倫。新娘在尋找新郎的時候,打她的「守衛」,也許指示在乃赫米雅省長以前,苛待民眾的波斯國所派的官員(厄下5:15)。以民對天主因痛悔而凈化了的愛,才是純潔的熱愛。這愛在5:10-16內表示無遺。新娘在這幾節內,好似將耶京的聖殿擬人化,以讚頌聖殿的美麗,來頌揚住在百姓間的上主;同樣在6:4-10節內,新郎(上主)好似將聖地擬人化,以描繪巴力斯坦的美景,來表示他對選民的愛。新郎所提出的那兩座舊京城──提爾匝和耶京,是為證明他的愛包括以色列十二支派(依11:10-15; 耶31:1-6 ; 則37:15-28)。9節內的「皇后與嬪妃」,按寓意來講,表示異邦民族(見詠45; 87 ; 申7:6,8; 32:8,9)。在此所描寫的天主對以民的鍾愛,就新約來說,更表現基督對聖教會的親愛(弗5:25-32)。但基督的這種超絻的愛,也要求教會常應準備好,等待基督的來臨(默3:20; 19:7; 谷13:33-37; 路12:36)。 |
