| 1我又舉目觀看，望見有一飛卷。 | 1Again I raised my eyes and saw a flying scroll. |
| 2他問我說：「你看見了什麼？」我說：「我見一本飛卷，長二十肘，寬十肘。」 | 2He asked me, "What do you see?" And I answered, "A flying scroll, thirty feet long and fifteen feet wide." |
| 3他對我說：「這是向全地面散發的詛咒：凡偷竊的，必要按這卷所記載的被除掉；凡起假誓的，也必要按這卷所記載的被除掉。 | 3He said to me, "This is the curse going forth throughout the earth. On one side it is written that every thief shall be banished; on the other side, that everyone who swears falsely shall be expelled. |
| 4我要發出這詛咒──萬軍上主的斷語──它必進入盜賊的家和指着我名起假誓的家，住在那人家中，將這家，連它的木料和石頭一併毀滅。」 | 4I will send it out to the house of the thief, as well as to the house of anyone who swears falsely. It will lodge there and destroy the house - timber, stone and everything. |
| 5那與我談話的使者又出來對我說：「你要舉目觀看這出來的是什麼？」 | 5Then the angel who talked with me came forward and said, "Look up and see what this is that is coming forth." |
| 6我反問說：「那是什麼？」他回答說：「這出來的是『厄法』。」他又說：「這表示人在全地上的罪惡。」 | 6I asked, "What is it?" He answered, "This is a bushel container. This is the guilt of the people throughout the land." |
| 7看，鉛蓋揭開了，在「厄法」當中坐着一個女人。 | 7The lead cover was lifted, and there sitting inside was a woman. |
| 8他於是說：「這是罪惡。」遂把她再裝在「厄法」裏，把鉛蓋蓋在「厄法」的口上。 | 8"This is wickedness," he said and thrust the woman inside the bushel stopping the opening with the lead cover. |
| 9我又舉目觀看，見有兩個女人出現，有風吹動她們的翅膀──她們的翅膀好像鶴鳥的翅膀──她們將「厄法」提到天地之間。 | 9I looked up and saw two winged women coming; their wings were like that of a stork. As they lifted the bushel into the air, |
| 10我遂對那與我談話的使者說：「她們將『厄法』帶到那裏去？」 | 10I asked the angel who was speaking to me, "Where are they taking the bushel?" |
| 11他回答我說：「要往史納爾地去，建造一座房屋；房屋一落成，就把它安置在那裏。」 | 11He answered, "To Babylonia, to build a temple for it and set it down on a plinth." |
