2 Kings |
| 1默納舍登極時纔十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王五十五年，他的母親名叫赫斐漆巴。 |
1Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Hephzibah. |
| 2他行了上主視為惡的事，仿效上主從以色列子民前所驅逐的異民所行的可恥之事， |
2He did evil in the sight of the LORD, following the abominable practices of the nations whom the LORD had cleared out of the way of the Israelites. |
| 3重建了他父親希則克雅所拆毀的高丘，為巴耳建立了祭壇，製造了木偶，像以色列王阿哈布所作的一樣，且崇拜敬奉天上的萬象， |
3He rebuilt the high places which his father Hezekiah had destroyed. He erected altars to Baal, and also set up a sacred pole, as Ahab, king of Israel, had done. He worshiped and served the whole host of heaven. |
| 4雖然上主曾指着聖殿說過：「我要將我旳名立在耶路撒冷。」但他仍在上主的殿內建立了一些祭壇， |
4He built altars in the temple of the LORD, about which the LORD had said, "I will establish my name in Jerusalem"-- |
| 5又在上主殿宇的兩庭院內，為天上萬象建立了祭壇； |
5altars for the whole host of heaven, in the two courts of the temple. |
| 6使自己的兒子經火獻神，行占卜邪術，立招魂師和術士，不斷行上主視為惡的事，惹上主發怒。 |
6He immolated his son by fire. He practiced soothsaying and divination, and reintroduced the consulting of ghosts and spirits. He did much evil in the LORD'S sight and provoked him to anger. |
| 7他又將自己製造的阿舍辣彫像，安放在上主的殿內，雖然上主論及這殿曾對達味和他的兒子撒羅滿說：「我要在這殿內，和我在以色列各支派所選出的耶路撒冷立我的名，直到永遠； |
7The Asherah idol he had made, he set up in the temple, of which the LORD had said to David and to his son Solomon: "In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I shall place my name forever. |
| 8只要以色列謹守遵行我所吩咐他們的一切，及我僕人梅瑟所吩咐他們的一切法律，我決不再使以色列人的腳，離開我賜與他們祖先的土地。」 |
8I will not in future allow Israel to be driven off the land I gave their fathers, provided that they are careful to observe all I have commanded them, the entire law which my servant Moses enjoined upon them." |
| 9但是，他們卻不聽從，甚至默納舍誘惑他們行惡，甚於上主由以色列子民前所消滅的那些民族。 |
9But they did not listen, and Manasseh misled them into doing even greater evil than the nations whom the LORD had destroyed at the coming of the Israelites. |
| 10為此，上主藉他的僕人先知警告說： |
10Then the LORD spoke through his servants the prophets: |
| 11「因為猶大王默納舍行了這些可恥的事，甚於他以前的阿摩黎人所行的，以自己的神像引猶大犯罪。 |
11"Because Manasseh, king of Judah, has practiced these abominations and has done greater evil than all that was done by the Amorites before him, and has led Judah into sin by his idols, |
| 12所以上主以色列的天主這樣說：看，我要使這樣的災禍降在耶路撒冷和猶大，使聽見的人兩耳都要齊鳴。 |
12therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: 'I will bring such evil on Jerusalem and Judah that, whenever anyone hears of it, his ears shall ring. |
| 13我要用測量撒瑪黎雅的繩索，和測量阿哈布家的鉛錘，來測量耶路撒冷，要擦淨耶路撒冷如同人擦淨盤子一樣，擦淨之後，就翻過來； |
13I will measure Jerusalem with the same cord as I did Samaria, and with the plummet I used for the house of Ahab. I will wipe Jerusalem clean as one wipes a dish, wiping it inside and out. |
| 14我要拋棄作我產業的遺民，將他們交於敵人手中，使他們成為一切敵人的掠物和勝利品。 |
14I will cast off the survivors of my inheritance and deliver them into enemy hands, to become a prey and a booty for all their enemies, |
| 15因為他們自從他們的祖先出離埃及那一天起，直到今日，行了我視為惡的事，使我發怒。」 |
15because they have done evil in my sight and provoked me from the day their fathers came forth from Egypt until today.'" |
| 16默納舍除了使猶大陷於罪惡，行了上主視為惡的事以外，還流了許多無辜者的血，使耶路撒冷血流成河，從這邊流到那邊。 |
16In addition to the sin which he caused Judah to commit, Manasseh did evil in the sight of the LORD, shedding so much innocent blood as to fill the length and breadth of Jerusalem. |
| 17默納舍其餘的事蹟，他行的一切，所犯的罪惡，都記載在《猶大列王實錄》上。 |
17The rest of the acts of Manasseh, the sin he committed and all that he did, are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah. |
| 18默納舍與他的列祖同眠，埋葬在王宮花園，即烏匝花園裏；他的兒子阿孟繼位為王。 |
18Manasseh rested with his ancestors and was buried in his palace garden, the garden of Uzza. His son Amon succeeded him as king. |
| 19阿孟登極時，年二十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王兩年；他的母親名叫默叔肋默特，是約特巴人哈魯茲的女兒。 |
19Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Meshullemeth, daughter of Haruz of Jotbah. |
| 20他行了上主視為惡的事。全像他父親默納舍所行的一樣； |
20He did evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh had done. |
| 21走了他父親所走的路，事奉敬拜了他父親所事奉的偶像， |
21He followed exactly the path his father had trod, serving and worshiping the idols his father had served. |
| 22離棄了上主他祖先的天主，未隨上主的道路。 |
22He abandoned the LORD, the God of his fathers, and did not follow the path of the LORD. |
| 23阿孟的臣僕共謀造反，在宮內將君王殺了； |
23Subjects of Amon conspired against him and slew the king in his palace, |
| 24但地方上的人民起來，殺了所有反叛阿孟王的人，立了他的兒子約史雅繼位為王。 |
24but the people of the land then slew all who had conspired against King Amon, and proclaimed his son Josiah king in his stead. |
| 25阿孟所作的其他事蹟，都記載在《猶大列王實錄》上。 |
25The rest of the acts that Amon did are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah. |
| 26他也葬在烏匝花園內自己的墳墓裏；他的兒子約史雅繼位為王。 |
26He was buried in his own grave in the garden of Uzza, and his son Josiah succeeded him as king. |
