2 Kings |
| 1漆德克雅為王九年十月十日，巴比倫王拿步高率領全軍前來進攻耶路撒冷，扎營圍城，在城四週建築了壁壘， |
1 In the tenth month of the ninth year of Zedekiah's reign, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and his whole army advanced against Jerusalem, encamped around it, and built siege walls on every side. |
| 2圍攻京城，直到漆德克雅為王十一年。 |
2The siege of the city continued until the eleventh year of Zedekiah. |
| 3是年四月九日，城中發生了嚴重的飢荒，當地人民已沒有食糧， |
3On the ninth day of the fourth month, when famine had gripped the city, and the people had no more bread, |
| 4京城遂被攻破。加色丁人還在圍攻城時，君王和全體士兵，夜間出了靠近御苑的雙墻城門，逃往阿辣巴。 |
4the city walls were breached. Then the king and all the soldiers left the city by night through the gate between the two walls which was near the king's garden. Since the Chaldeans had the city surrounded, they went in the direction of the Arabah. |
| 5加色丁軍隊便追趕君王，在耶里哥曠野追上了；此時他的軍隊都已離開他逃散了。 |
5But the Chaldean army pursued the king and overtook him in the desert near Jericho, abandoned by his whole army. |
| 6加色丁軍隊擒獲了君王，帶他到黎貝拉去見巴比倫王。巴比倫王就宣判他的罪案， |
6The king was therefore arrested and brought to Riblah to the king of Babylon, who pronounced sentence on him. |
| 7且在漆德克雅眼前殺了他的兒子，也剜了他的眼，給他帶上鎖鏈，送往巴比倫去。 |
7He had Zedekiah's sons slain before his eyes. Then he blinded Zedekiah, bound him with fetters, and had him brought to Babylon. |
| 8巴比倫王拿步高為王十九年五月七日，巴比倫王的大臣，衛隊長乃步匝辣當來到了耶路撒冷， |
8On the seventh day of the fifth month (this was in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan, captain of the bodyguard, came to Jerusalem as the representative of the king of Babylon. |
| 9燒毀了上主的殿、王宮和耶路撒冷所有的民房；凡是高大的建築都用火燒了。 |
9He burned the house of the LORD, the palace of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem; every large building was destroyed by fire. |
| 10跟隨衛隊長的所有加色丁軍隊，拆毀了耶路撒冷周圍的城牆。 |
10Then the Chaldean troops who were with the captain of the guard tore down the walls that surrounded Jerusalem. |
| 11城中剩下的人民和已投降巴比倫王的人，以及其餘的平民，衛隊長乃步匝辣當都擄了去， |
11 Then Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, led into exile the last of the people remaining in the city, and those who had deserted to the king of Babylon, and the last of the artisans. |
| 12只留下當地一部分最窮的平民作園丁和農夫。 |
12But some of the country's poor, Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, left behind as vinedressers and farmers. |
| 13加色丁人又將上主殿前的銅柱，和上主殿內的銅座、銅海都打碎，把銅運往巴比倫； |
13The bronze pillars that belonged to the house of the LORD, and the wheeled carts and the bronze sea in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke into pieces; they carried away the bronze to Babylon. |
| 14此外，鍋、鏟、蠟剪、香盤，以及行禮的一切銅器，全都帶走； |
14They took also the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the bowls, the pans and all the bronze vessels used for service. |
| 15提爐、杯爵，凡是純金純銀的，衛隊長都拿走了。 |
15The fire-holders and the bowls which were of gold or silver the captain of the guard also carried off. |
| 16撒羅滿為上主的殿所製造的兩根柱子，一個銅海和一些盆座，這一切器皿所用的銅，重量無法估計。 |
16The weight in bronze of the two pillars, the bronze sea, and the wheeled carts, all of them furnishings which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD, was never calculated. |
| 17一根柱子高十八肘，上端有銅柱頭，高五肘，柱頭四周有網子和石榴，全是銅的；另一根柱子相同，也有網子。 |
17Each of the pillars was eighteen cubits high; a bronze capital five cubits high surmounted each pillar, and a network with pomegranates encircled the capital, all of bronze; and so for the other pillar, as regards the network. |
| 18衛隊長又擒獲了大司祭色辣雅、副大司祭責法尼雅和三個門丁； |
18The captain of the guard also took Seraiah the high priest, Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the entry. |
| 19由城中擄去了一個管理軍隊的宦官，五個在城內搜到的君王的親信，一個徵募當地人民的軍長的書記，和城中搜到的六十個當地平民。 |
19And from the city he took one courtier, a commander of soldiers, five men in the personal service of the king who were still in the city, the scribe of the army commander, who mustered the people of the land, and sixty of the common people still remaining in the city. |
| 20衛隊長乃步匝辣當捉住他們，帶到黎貝拉去見巴比倫王； |
20The captain of the guard, Nebuzaradan, arrested these and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah; |
| 21巴比倫王就在哈瑪特地的黎貝拉將他們殺了；從此，猶大人由本鄉被擄去充軍。 |
21the king had them struck down and put to death in Riblah, in the land of Hamath. Thus was Judah exiled from her land. |
| 22巴比倫王拿步高對留在猶大地內的人民，派定了沙番的孫子，阿希甘的兒子革達里雅作他們的首長。 |
22As for the people whom he had allowed to remain in the land of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, appointed as their governor Gedaliah, son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan. |
| 23眾軍長和他們的士兵一聽說巴比倫王委派了革達里雅為首長，乃塔尼雅的兒子依市瑪耳，卡勒亞的兒子約哈南，乃托法人堂胡默特的兒子色辣雅，瑪阿加人的兒子雅匝尼雅和他們的士兵，就都來到米茲帕見革達里雅。 |
23Hearing that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah governor, all the army commanders with their men came to him at Mizpah: Ishmael, son of Nethaniah, Johanan, son of Kareah, Seraiah, son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah, from Beth-maacah. |
| 24革達里雅遂對他們和他們的士兵起誓說：「你們不要害怕加色丁人的臣僕，安心住在此地，服事巴比倫王，就必能相安無事。」 |
24Gedaliah gave the commanders and their men his oath. "Do not be afraid of the Chaldean officials," he said to them. "Remain in the country and serve the king of Babylon, and all will be well with you." |
| 25但是，到了七月，王家的後裔厄里沙瑪的孫子，乃塔尼雅的兒子依市瑪耳帶了十個人前來，殺了革達里雅，和與他同在米茲帕的猶大人及加色丁人。 |
25But in the seventh month Ishmael, son of Nethaniah, son of Elishama, of royal descent, came with ten men, attacked Gedaliah and killed him, along with the Jews and Chaldeans who were in Mizpah with him. |
| 26於是所有的人民，不分貴賤大小和眾軍長，因為害怕加色丁人，都起身逃往埃及去了。 |
26Then all the people, great and small, left with the army commanders and went to Egypt for fear of the Chaldeans. |
| 27猶大王耶苛尼雅被擄後第三十七年十二月二十七日，巴比倫王厄威耳默洛達客在他登極元年，大赦猶大王耶苛尼雅，放他出獄， |
27In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin, king of Judah, on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month, Evilmerodach, king of Babylon, in the inaugural year of his own reign, raised up Jehoiachin, king of Judah, from prison. |
| 28親切與他交談，令他坐在與他一同在巴比倫的眾王之上。 |
28He spoke kindly to him and gave him a throne higher than that of the other kings who were with him in Babylon. |
| 29耶苛尼雅脫去囚服，以後一生日日與王共進飲食。 |
29Jehoiachin took off his prison garb and ate at the king's table as long as he lived. |
| 30他的生活費用，在他有生之日，每天不斷由巴比倫王供應。 |
30The allowance granted him by the king was a perpetual allowance, in fixed daily amounts, for as long as he lived. |
