17閃的子孫：厄藍、亞述、阿帕革沙得、路得、阿蘭。阿蘭的子孫：伍茲、胡耳、革特爾和默舍客。	17The descendants of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, and Aram. The descendants of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
18阿帕革沙得生舍拉，舍拉生厄貝爾。	18Arpachshad became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber.
19厄貝爾生了兩個兒子：長子名叫培肋格，因為在他的時代，世界分裂了；他的兄弟名叫約刻堂。	19Two sons were born to Eber; the first was named Peleg (for in his time the world was divided), and his brother was Joktan.

32亞巴郎的妾刻突辣所生的兒子：齊默郎、約刻商、默丹、米德楊、依市巴克和叔哈；約刻商的兒子：舍巴和德丹。	32The descendants of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan.
33米德楊的兒子：厄法、厄斐爾、哈諾客、阿彼達和厄耳達阿：以上都是刻突辣的子孫。	33The descendants of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the descendants of Keturah.
34亞巴郎生依撒格；依撒格生厄撒烏和以色列。	34Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.
35厄撒烏的兒子：厄里法次、勒烏耳、耶烏士、雅藍和科辣黑。	35The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
36厄里法次的子孫：特曼、敖瑪爾、則非、加堂、刻納次、提默納和阿瑪肋克。	36The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, (Timna,) and Amalek.
37勒烏耳的子孫：納哈特、則辣黑、沙瑪和米匝。	37The sons of Reuel were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38色依爾的子孫：羅堂、芍巴耳、漆貝紅、阿納、狄雄、厄責爾和狄商。	38 The descendants of Seir were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.
39羅堂的兒子：曷黎和曷曼；羅堂的姊妹：提默納。	39The sons of Lotan were Hori and Homam; Timna was the sister of Lotan.
40芍巴耳的兒子：阿里楊、瑪納哈特、厄巴耳、舍非和敖南。漆貝紅的兒子：阿雅和阿納。	40The sons of Shobal were Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon were Aiah and Anah.
41阿納的兒子：狄雄；狄雄的兒子：哈默郎、厄市班、依特郎和革郎。	41The sons of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon were Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
42厄責爾的兒子：彼耳漢、匝汪和阿甘。狄商的兒子：伍茲和阿郎。	42The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.
43以下是在以色列子民未有君王統治以前，統治厄東地的君王：貝敖爾的兒子貝拉，他的京城名叫丁哈巴。	43The kings who reigned in the land of Edom before they had Israelite kings were the following: Bela, son of Beor, the name of whose city was Dinhabah.
44貝拉死後，波責辣人則辣黑的兒子約巴布繼他為王。	44When Bela died, Jobab, son of Zerah, from Bozrah, succeeded him.
45約巴布死後，特曼地人胡商繼他為王。	45When Jobab died, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, succeeded him.
46胡商死後，貝達得的兒子哈達得繼他為王。他曾在摩阿布平原擊敗了米德楊人；他的京城名叫阿威特。	46Husham died and Hadad, son of Bedad, succeeded him. He overthrew the Midianites on the Moabite plateau, and the name of his city was Avith.
47哈達得死後，瑪斯勒卡人撒默拉繼他為王。	47Hadad died and Samlah of Masrekah succeeded him.
48撒默拉死後，河間的勒曷波特人沙烏耳繼他為王。	48Samlah died and Shaul from Rehoboth-han-nahar succeeded him.
49沙烏耳死後，阿革波爾的兒子巴耳哈南繼他為王。	49When Shaul died, Baal-hanan, son of Achbor, succeeded him.
50巴耳哈南死後，哈達得繼他為王，他的京城名叫帕依，他的妻子名叫默塔貝耳，是默匝哈布人瑪特勒得的女兒。	50Baalhanan died and Hadad succeeded him. The name of his city was Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel. She was the daughter of Matred, who was the daughter of Mezahab.
