3From the rising of the sun to its setting let the name of the LORD be praised. |
| 4上主高越列國萬邦，他的光榮凌駕穹蒼； |
4High above all nations is the LORD; above the heavens God's glory. |
| 5誰能相似上主我們的天主？他坐在蒼天之上的最高處。 |
5Who is like the LORD, our God enthroned on high, |
| 6他必會垂目下視，觀看上天和下地； |
6looking down on heaven and earth? |
| 7從塵埃裏提拔弱小的人，由糞土中舉揚窮苦的人， |
7The LORD raises the needy from the dust, lifts the poor from the ash heap, |
| 8叫他與貴族的人共席，也與本國的王侯同位； |
8Seats them with princes, the princes of the people, |
| 9使那不孕的婦女坐鎮家中，成為多子的母親，快樂無窮。 |
9Gives the childless wife a home, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah! |
