| 2看，僕人的眼目，怎樣仰望主人的手，看，婢女的眼目，怎樣注視主婦的手；我們的眼目也就怎樣注視着上主，我們的天主，直到他憐憫我們才止。 |
2Yes, like the eyes of a servant on the hand of his master, Like the eyes of a maid on the hand of her mistress, So our eyes are on the LORD our God, till we are shown favor. |
| 3上主，求你矜憐，矜憐我們！因為我們已嘗盡了欺凌； |
3Show us favor, LORD, show us favor, for we have our fill of contempt. |
| 4我們的心靈已經飽受得太多了：即驕傲人的欺凌，富貴人的恥笑。 |
4We have our fill of insult from the insolent, of disdain from the arrogant. |
