| 1登聖殿歌，達味作。若不是上主保佑我們惟願以色列子民再說： |
1 A song of ascents. Of David. I Had not the LORD been with us, let Israel say, |
| 2若不是上主保佑我們，當世人起來攻擊我們， |
2Had not the LORD been with us, when people rose against us, |
| 3並向我們發洩怒火時，必會活活將我們吞食。 |
3They would have swallowed us alive, for their fury blazed against us. |
| 4就像淹沒我們的水禍，流過我們頸項的洪波。 |
4The waters would have engulfed us, the torrent overwhelmed us; |
| 5又像洶湧澎湃的狂浪，早已將我們淹沒滅亡。 |
5seething waters would have drowned us. |
| 6讚美上主，他沒有將我們拋出，使我們做成他爪牙的獵物； |
6Blessed be the LORD, who did not leave us to be torn by their fangs. |
| 7我們像掙脫獵人羅網的小鳥，羅網被扯破了，我們自然逃掉。 |
7We escaped with our lives like a bird from the fowler's snare; the snare was broken and we escaped. |
| 8我們的救助是仰賴上主的名，上天和下地都是由他所造成。 |
8 Our help is the name of the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth. |
