| 1登聖殿歌。上主，求你以慈愛懷念達味，和他所有的一切焦思勞瘁： |
1 A song of ascents. LORD, remember David and all his anxious care; |
| 2因為他曾向主立過誓言，向雅各伯的全能者許過願： |
2 How he swore an oath to the LORD, vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob: |
| 3我決不進入我家中的帳幔，也決不登上我躺臥的床沿， |
3"I will not enter the house where I live, nor lie on the couch where I sleep; |
| 4不容許我的眼睛睡眠，也不讓我的眼瞼安閑， |
4I will give my eyes no sleep, my eyelids no rest, |
| 5直到我給上主尋找到一個處所，給雅各伯的全能者將居地覓妥。 |
5Till I find a home for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob." |
| 6看，我們聽說約櫃在厄弗辣大，我們在雅阿爾平原找到了它。 |
6 "We have heard of it in Ephrathah; we have found it in the fields of Jaar. |
| 7請大家一同進他的居所，並在他的腳凳下崇拜說： |
7Let us enter God's dwelling; let us worship at God's footstool." |
| 8上主，請你和你威嚴的約櫃，起來駕臨到你安息的住宅， |
8"Arise, LORD, come to your resting place, you and your majestic ark. |
| 9願你的司祭身披正義，願你的信徒踴躍歡喜。 |
9Your priests will be clothed with justice; your faithful will shout for joy." |
| 10為了你僕人達味的情面，不要將你的受傅者輕看！ |
10For the sake of David your servant, do not reject your anointed. |
| 11上主既然向達味起了誓，真理的約言決不再收回：「我要使你的親生兒子，榮登上你自己的王位； |
11The LORD swore an oath to David, a pledge never to be broken: "Your own offspring I will set upon your throne. |
| 12若你的子孫遵守我的誓言，也遵守我教訓他們的法典，連他們的子孫代代世世，也必定要坐上你的王位。」 |
12If your sons observe my covenant, the laws I shall teach them, Their sons, in turn, shall sit forever on your throne." |
| 13的確上主特別選擇了熙雍，希望熙雍作為自己的王宮： |
13Yes, the LORD has chosen Zion, desired it for a dwelling: |
| 14「這就是我的永遠安息之處，我希望的是常在這裏居住。 |
14"This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I desire it. |
| 15我要祝福這裏食糧充裕，窮人們都吃得飽飫無憂， |
15I will bless Zion with meat; its poor I will fill with bread. |
| 16使這裏的司祭得蒙救助，使這裏的信徒踴躍歡愉。 |
16I will clothe its priests with blessing; its faithful shall shout for joy. |
| 17在這裏我要使達味頭角高聳，我要給我的受傅者備妥明燈， |
17 There I will make a horn sprout for David's line; I will set a lamp for my anointed. |
| 18我要使他的敵人個個恥辱備嘗，我要使他的王冠在他的頭上發光。」 |
18His foes I will clothe with shame, but on him my crown shall gleam." |
