1Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD! Praise, you servants of the LORD, |
| 2你們服役於上主聖殿的，你們侍立在我主前庭的， |
2Who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God! |
| 3請讚頌上主，因為上主是美善的，歌詠他的名，因他的名是甘甜的。 |
3Praise the LORD; the LORD is good! Sing to God's name; it is gracious! |
| 4雅各伯原是上主為自己所選，以色列永遠作他自己的家產。 |
4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob, Israel as a treasured possession. |
| 5我確切知道，上主偉大無比！我們的主宰，超越所有神祇！ |
5I know that the LORD is great, our Lord is greater than all gods. |
| 6上天下地，海洋深淵的任何化工，上主只要願意，無一不由他造成。 |
6Whatever the LORD wishes he does in heaven and on earth, in the seas and in all the deeps. |
| 7他使雲彩由地極現露，他使電光閃爍而成雨，他使清風從寶庫發出。 |
7He raises storm clouds from the end of the earth, makes lightning and rain, brings forth wind from the storehouse. |
| 8他將埃及的人和牲畜，凡首生者都一起殺戮。 |
8He struck down Egypt's firstborn, human and beast alike, |
| 9埃及！他在你內行了奇蹟異能，懲罰了法郎和他的萬眾臣民。 |
9And sent signs and portents against you, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants. |
| 10他擊敗了列國的萬民，他殺死了強盛的國君： |
10The Lord struck down many nations, slew mighty kings-- |
| 11阿摩黎王息紅、巴商王敖格，以及客納罕地的王侯官吏。 |
11Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, all the kings of Canaan-- |
| 12他將他們的土地變作產業，賜給了自己的人民以色列。 |
12And made their land a heritage, a heritage for Israel his people. |
| 13上主，你的聖名千秋留存，上主，你的記念。萬世常新。 |
13O LORD, your name is forever, your renown, from age to age! |
| 14因為上主護衛自己的百姓，對自己的僕人們表示憐憫。 |
14For the LORD defends his people, shows mercy to his servants. |
| 15異民的偶像，無非金銀，只是人手中的製造品： |
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands. |
| 16偶像有口，而不能言，偶像有眼，而不能看， |
16They have mouths but speak not; they have eyes but see not; |
| 17有耳，而聽不見，有鼻，而無氣喘。 |
17They have ears but hear not; no breath is in their mouths. |
| 18鑄造偶像的人，將與偶像同亡，凡信賴偶像的人，也將是一樣。 |
18Their makers shall be like them, all who trust in them. |
| 19以色列家族，請讚頌上主！亞郎家族，也請讚頌上主！ |
19House of Israel, bless the LORD! House of Aaron, bless the LORD! |
| 20肋未家族，也請讚頌上主！敬畏上主的人，讚頌上主！ |
20House of Levi, bless the LORD! You who fear the LORD, bless the LORD! |
| 21住在耶路撒冷的大君，願他由熙雍承受讚頌！ |
21Blessed from Zion be the LORD, who dwells in Jerusalem! Hallelujah! |
