2Praise the LORD, my soul; I shall praise the LORD all my life, sing praise to my God while I live. |
| 3你們不要全心依賴王侯大臣，也不要依賴不能施救的世人； |
3I Put no trust in princes, in mere mortals powerless to save. |
| 4他的氣息一斷，就要歸於灰土，他的一切計劃，立刻化為烏有。 |
4When they breathe their last, they return to the earth; that day all their planning comes to nothing. |
| 5凡是以雅各伯的天主為自己扶助的人，以上主天主為自己希望的，是有福的人！ |
5Happy those whose help is Jacob's God, whose hope is in the LORD, their God, |
| 6上主創造了上天與下土，海洋和其中的所有一切。他持守信實，一直到永久。 |
6The maker of heaven and earth, the seas and all that is in them, Who keeps faith forever, |
| 7上主為被欺的人作辯護，上主給饑餓的人賜食物，上主使被囚的人得自由。 |
7secures justice for the oppressed, gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free; |
| 8上主開啟瞎子的眼睛，上主使傴僂的人直身，上主愛慕那正義的人。 |
8the LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous. |
| 9上主對旅客加以保護，上主支持孤兒和寡婦，上主迷惑惡人的道路。 |
9The LORD protects the stranger, sustains the orphan and the widow, but thwarts the way of the wicked. |
| 10願上主永永遠遠為君王！熙雍！你的天主萬壽無疆！ |
10The LORD shall reign forever, your God, Zion, through all generations! Hallelujah! |
