1 Hallelujah! Sing to the LORD a new song, a hymn in the assembly of the faithful. |
| 2願以色列因自己的創造者而踴躍，願熙雍子民因自己的君王而歡樂！ |
2Let Israel be glad in their maker, the people of Zion rejoice in their king. |
| 3願他們以舞蹈讚美上主的名，願他們敲鼓彈琴向上主歌詠！ |
3 Let them praise his name in festive dance, make music with tambourine and lyre. |
| 4因為上主喜愛自己的百姓，賞賜謙虛的人凱旋而得勝。 |
4For the LORD takes delight in his people, honors the poor with victory. |
| 5願聖徒因所受的光榮而喜慶，在自己的床榻上歡呼而歌頌。 |
5 Let the faithful rejoice in their glory, cry out for joy at their banquet, |
| 6願讚美天主的歌辭在他們的口中，願雙刃的寶劍掌握在他們的手中， |
6With the praise of God in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hands, |
| 7為向異邦報仇雪恥，為向列國進攻襲擊， |
7To bring retribution on the nations, punishment on the peoples, |
| 8要用鎖鍊捆住他們的國君，要用銬鐐鎖住他們的縉紳， |
8To bind their kings with chains, shackle their nobles with irons, |
| 9為向他們施行經上的審訊。這也就是一切聖徒的光榮。 |
9 To execute the judgments decreed for them-- such is the glory of all God's faithful. Hallelujah! |
