| 1交與樂官，上主的僕人達味作，達味在上主救他脫離一切仇敵，尤其撒烏耳的毒手時，向上主唱了這篇詩歌， |
1 For the leader. Of David, the servant of the LORD, who sang to the LORD the words of this song after the LORD had rescued him from the clutches of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. |
| 2說：上主，我的力量！我愛慕你。 |
2He said: I love you, LORD, my strength, |
| 3上主，你是我的磐石、我的保障，我的避難所；你是我的天主，我所一心依靠的磐石；你是我的護盾，我救恩的角，我的堡壘。 |
3 LORD, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, My God, my rock of refuge, my shield, my saving horn, my stronghold! |
| 4我一呼求應受頌揚的上主，我便會從仇敵的手中得救。 |
4Praised be the LORD, I exclaim! I have been delivered from my enemies. |
| 5死亡的狂濤環圍着我，凶惡的險波驚嚇着我， |
5The breakers of death surged round about me; the menacing floods terrified me. |
| 6陰府的繩缰纏繞着我，喪命的羅網拘絆着我。 |
6 The cords of Sheol tightened; the snares of death lay in wait for me. |
| 7我在急難當中呼求了上主，向我的天主求助；他由殿中聽我禱告，我的聲音進入他的耳鼓。 |
7 In my distress I called out: LORD! I cried out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry to him reached his ears. |
| 8因為上主憤怒填胸，大地立即戰慄震驚，山基陵根搖撼移動。 |
8 The earth rocked and shook; the foundations of the mountains trembled; they shook as his wrath flared up. |
| 9由他的鼻孔湧出濃煙，由他的口中噴出烈焰，由他的身上射出火炭。 |
9Smoke rose in his nostrils, a devouring fire poured from his mouth; it kindled coals into flame. |
| 10他使諸天低垂，親自降臨，在他的腳下面密佈濃雲。 |
10He parted the heavens and came down, a dark cloud under his feet. |
| 11他乘坐革魯賓飛揚；藉着風的翼羽翱翔。 |
11 Mounted on a cherub he flew, borne along on the wings of the wind. |
| 12他四周以黑暗作帷帳，以含雨的濃雲為屏障。 |
12He made darkness the cover about him; his canopy, heavy thunderheads. |
| 13閃電在他前輝煌，紅炭發出了火光。 |
13Before him scudded his clouds, hail and lightning too. |
| 14上主由高天發出雷鳴，至高者吼出他的呼聲。 |
14The LORD thundered from heaven; the Most High made his voice resound. |
| 15他射出羽箭，將人驅散；他發出閃電，使人逃竄。 |
15 He let fly his arrows and scattered them; shot his lightning bolts and dispersed them. |
| 16上主的呵斥一呼，鼻孔的怒氣一出，滄海的海底出現，大地的地基露綻。 |
16Then the bed of the sea appeared; the world's foundations lay bare, At the roar of the LORD, at the storming breath of his nostrils. |
| 17他由高處伸手將我拉住，他由洪水之中將我提出； |
17He reached down from on high and seized me; drew me out of the deep waters. |
| 18救我脫離了我的敵手，擺脫了強於我的仇讎。 |
18He rescued me from my mighty enemy, from foes too powerful for me. |
| 19他們在我困厄之日襲擊我，然而上主卻作了我的城堡； |
19They attacked me on a day of distress, but the LORD came to my support. |
| 20他引領我步入廣闊的平原，他因喜愛我，而給了我救援。 |
20He set me free in the open; he rescued me because he loves me. |
| 21上主照我的正義酬答了我，按我雙手的清白賞報了我； |
21The LORD acknowledged my righteousness, rewarded my clean hands. |
| 22因我遵行了上主的道路，沒有作惡背棄我的天主。 |
22For I kept the ways of the LORD; I was not disloyal to my God. |
| 23他的一切法令常在我的眼前，他的任何誡命我總沒有棄損； |
23His laws were all before me, his decrees I did not cast aside. |
| 24我在他前常保持成全，我自知防範各種罪愆。 |
24I was honest toward him; I was on guard against sin. |
| 25因此，上主照我在他眼前的正道，並照我雙手的清白給了我賞報。 |
25So the LORD rewarded my righteousness, the cleanness of my hands in his sight. |
| 26仁慈的人，你待他仁慈；正直的人，你待他正直； |
26Toward the faithful you are faithful; to the honest you are honest; |
| 27純潔的人，你待他純潔；乖戾的人，你待他乖戾。 |
27Toward the sincere, sincere; but to the perverse you are devious. |
| 28卑微的人，你必要救起；傲慢的人，你必要輕視。 |
28Humble people you save; haughty eyes you bring low. |
| 29上主，是你使我的燈籠放光，我主，是你把我的黑暗照亮。 |
29You, LORD, give light to my lamp; my God brightens the darkness about me. |
| 30仗着你的助祐，我衝上了戰場；靠着我的天主，我跳過了城牆。 |
30With you I can rush an armed band, with my God to help I can leap a wall. |
| 31天主的道路是完善的；上主的言語是精煉的；凡是投奔他的人，他必作他的後盾。 |
31God's way is unerring; the LORD'S promise is tried and true; he is a shield for all who trust in him. |
| 32除了上主以外，還有誰是天主？我們天主以外，還有誰是磐石？ |
32Truly, who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is the rock? |
| 33是天主使我腰纏英武，使我的道路平坦無阻； |
33This God who girded me with might, kept my way unerring, |
| 34使我的雙腳敏捷與鹿蹄相同，使我能穩立於高山的危峰； |
34Who made my feet swift as a deer's, set me safe on the heights, |
| 35是他教導我的手上陣進攻，使我伸出臂膊開張了銅弓。 |
35 Who trained my hands for war, my arms to bend even a bow of bronze. |
| 36你把救生的盾賜給了我，你的右手不斷扶持了我，使我日漸強大因你愛我。 |
36You have given me your protecting shield; your right hand has upheld me; you stooped to make me great. |
| 37你為我的腳步拓展了道路，我的雙腳總沒有顛簸躊躇。 |
37You gave me room to stride; my feet never stumbled. |
| 38我追擊我的仇敵，且把他們捕捉，決不返回，直到將他們除盡滅絕。 |
38I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till I destroyed them. |
| 39我將他們打得一敗塗地，叫他們在我的腳下倒斃。 |
39I struck them down; they could not rise; they fell dead at my feet. |
| 40你使我腰纏英武奮勇作戰，叫敵對我的人都向我就範； |
40You girded me with strength for war, subdued adversaries at my feet. |
| 41使我的敵人在我前轉背逃竄，使我把一切仇恨我的人驅散。 |
41My foes you put to flight before me; those who hated me I destroyed. |
| 42他們吶喊，卻沒有人救援，呼號上主，也得不到矜憐。 |
42They cried for help, but no one saved them; cried to the LORD but got no answer. |
| 43我粉碎他們像風吹的灰塵，我踐踏他們似道上的土糞。 |
43I ground them fine as dust in the wind; like mud in the streets I trampled them down. |
| 44你救我脫離了叛亂的人民，又封立了我為列國的元勳，我不認識的民族，也都來給我服務。 |
44You rescued me from the strife of peoples; you made me head over nations. A people I had not known became my slaves; |
| 45外邦的子民向我諂媚奉承，一聽到是我，即刻向我服膺。 |
45as soon as they heard of me they obeyed. Foreigners cringed before me; |
| 46外方的子民驚惶失色，戰戰兢兢走出了堡壘。 |
46their courage failed; they came trembling from their fortresses. |
| 47上主萬歲！願我的磐石備受讚頌！救我的天主備受尊崇！ |
47The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock! Exalted be God, my savior! |
| 48天主，是你為我伸冤復仇，求你使萬民都向我屈服； |
48O God who granted me vindication, made peoples subject to me, |
| 49是你拯救我脫離了我的仇敵，從凌駕我者的拳下把我提起，救我免於向我施暴人的手裏。 |
49and preserved me from my enemies, Truly you have exalted me above my adversaries, from the violent you have rescued me. |
| 50上主，為此，我要在異民中稱謝你，我要對你的聖名讚頌不已： |
50Thus I will proclaim you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name. |
| 51因為是你使你的君王大獲勝利，對你的受傅者：達味和他的後裔，廣施了仁愛慈惠，至於無窮之世。 |
51You have given great victories to your king, and shown kindness to your anointed, to David and his posterity forever. |
