1Of David. I wait for you, O LORD; I lift up my soul |
| 2我的天主，我全心要倚靠你。懇求你不要使我蒙受羞恥， 也不要容許我的仇人歡喜。 |
2to my God. In you I trust; do not let me be disgraced; do not let my enemies gloat over me. |
| 3凡期望你的人決不會蒙羞，惟冒昧失信的人才會受辱。 |
3No one is disgraced who waits for you, but only those who lightly break faith. |
| 4上主，求你使我認識你的法度，並求你教訓我履行你的道路。 |
4Make known to me your ways, LORD; teach me your paths. |
| 5還求你教訓我；引我進入真理之路，我終日仰望你，因你是救我的天主。 |
5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my savior. For you I wait all the long day, because of your goodness, LORD. |
| 6上主，求你憶及你的仁慈和恩愛，因為它們由亙古以來就常存在。 |
6Remember your compassion and love, O LORD; for they are ages old. |
| 7我青春的罪愆和過犯，求你不要追念；上主，求你紀念我，照你的仁慈和良善。 |
7Remember no more the sins of my youth; remember me only in light of your love. |
| 8因為上主仁慈又正直，常領迷途者歸回正路， |
8Good and upright is the LORD, who shows sinners the way, |
| 9引導謙卑者遵守正義，教導善良者走入正途。 |
9Guides the humble rightly, and teaches the humble the way. |
| 10對待持守上主的盟約和誡命的人，上主的一切行徑常是慈愛和忠誠。 |
10All the paths of the LORD are faithful love toward those who honor the covenant demands. |
| 11上主，為了你聖名的原故，求你赦免我重大的愆尤。 |
11For the sake of your name, LORD, pardon my guilt, though it is great. |
| 12不論是誰，只要他敬畏上主，上主必指示他應選的道路， |
12Who are those who fear the LORD? God shows them the way to choose. |
| 13他的心靈必要安享幸福，他的後裔必能繼承領土。 |
13They live well and prosper, and their descendants inherit the land. |
| 14上主親近敬畏自己的人民，也使他們認識自己的誓盟。 |
14The counsel of the LORD belongs to the faithful; the covenant instructs them. |
| 15我的眼睛不斷地向上主瞻仰，因為他使我的雙腳脫離羅網。 |
15My eyes are ever upon the LORD, who frees my feet from the snare. |
| 16求你回顧，求你憐憫，因為我是孤苦伶仃。 |
16Look upon me, have pity on me, for I am alone and afflicted. |
| 17求你減輕我心的苦難，救拔我脫離我的憂患； |
17Relieve the troubles of my heart; bring me out of my distress. |
| 18垂視我的勞苦和可憐，赦免我犯的一切罪愆。 |
18Put an end to my affliction and suffering; take away all my sins. |
| 19請看我的仇敵如何眾多，他們都兇狠地痛恨着我。 |
19See how many are my enemies, see how fiercely they hate me. |
| 20求你保護我的生命，向我施救，別叫我因投奔你而蒙受羞辱。 |
20Preserve my life and rescue me; do not let me be disgraced, for I trust in you. |
| 21願清白和正直護衛我！上主，因我唯有仰望你。 |
21Let honesty and virtue preserve me; I wait for you, O LORD. |
| 22天主，求你拯救以色列，使他脫離一切的禍災。 |
22 Redeem Israel, God, from all its distress! |
