| 1義人，你們應向上主踴躍歡呼，因為正直的人，理應讚美上主。 |
1 Rejoice, you just, in the LORD; praise from the upright is fitting. |
| 2你們該彈琴，稱謝上主，彈奏十絃琴，讚頌上主。 |
2Give thanks to the LORD on the harp; on the ten-stringed lyre offer praise. |
| 3你們應向他高唱新歌，在歡呼聲中奏琴吟哦， |
3Sing to God a new song; skillfully play with joyful chant. |
| 4因為上主的言語是正直的，他的一切作為都是忠實的； |
4For the LORD'S word is true; all his works are trustworthy. |
| 5他愛護正義和公理，他的慈愛瀰漫大地。 |
5The LORD loves justice and right and fills the earth with goodness. |
| 6因天主的一句話，諸天造成；因上主的一口氣，萬象生成。 |
6 By the LORD'S word the heavens were made; by the breath of his mouth all their host. |
| 7他把海水好似聚於皮囊，他將汪洋好似貯於池塘。 |
7 The waters of the sea were gathered as in a bowl; in cellars the deep was confined. |
| 8願整個大地敬畏上主，願普世居民畏懼上主， |
8Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all who dwell in the world show reverence. |
| 9因為他一發言，萬有造成，他一出命，各物生成。 |
9For he spoke, and it came to be, commanded, and it stood in place. |
| 10上主使異邦的計劃無緒，使萬民的策略廢去。 |
10The LORD foils the plan of nations, frustrates the designs of peoples. |
| 11上主的計劃卻永恒不變，他心中的謀略萬世常傳。 |
11But the plan of the LORD stands forever, wise designs through all generations. |
| 12尊上主為自己天主的民族，真是有福！上主選為自己產業的百姓，真是有福！ |
12Happy the nation whose God is the LORD, the people chosen as his very own. |
| 13上主由高天監臨，注視亞當的子孫； |
13From heaven the LORD looks down and observes the whole human race, |
| 14他由自己的居處，視察大地的眾庶： |
14Surveying from the royal throne all who dwell on earth. |
| 15他既創造了眾人的心靈，當然知曉人的一切言行。 |
15The one who fashioned the hearts of them all knows all their works. |
| 16帝王不是因兵多而取勝，勇士不是因力大而保命。 |
16A king is not saved by a mighty army, nor a warrior delivered by great strength. |
| 17為獲勝利，駿馬仍是徒然，氣力雖大，依舊難獲安全。 |
17Useless is the horse for safety; its great strength, no sure escape. |
| 18請看，上主的眼睛常關注敬畏他的人，他的雙目常眷顧靠他仁慈的人， |
18But the LORD'S eyes are upon the reverent, upon those who hope for his gracious help, |
| 19為使他們的性命，脫免死亡，使他們在饑饉時，生活如常。 |
19Delivering them from death, keeping them alive in times of famine. |
| 20我們的靈魂仰望着上主，他是我們的保障和扶助； |
20Our soul waits for the LORD, who is our help and shield. |
| 21我們的心靈要因他而喜樂歡暢，在他的聖名內寄托我們的希望。 |
21For in God our hearts rejoice; in your holy name we trust. |
| 22上主，求你向我們廣施慈愛，有如我們對你所存的期待。 |
22May your kindness, LORD, be upon us; we have put our hope in you. |
