1 For the leader. A psalm of David. |
| 2眷顧貧窮人的人，真是有福，患難時日，他必蒙上主救助。 |
2 Happy those concerned for the lowly and poor; when misfortune strikes, the LORD delivers them. |
| 3上主必保護他，賜他生存，在世上蒙福，決不將他交給他的仇敵而任敵所欲。 |
3The LORD keeps and preserves them, makes them happy in the land, and does not betray them to their enemies. |
| 4他呻吟床榻，上主給他支援，他患病時，必使他轉危為安。 |
4The LORD sustains them on their sickbed, allays the malady when they are ill. |
| 5我曾哀求你：「上主，求你憐憫我，」「求你治癒我，因為我得罪了你。」 |
5Once I prayed, "LORD, have mercy on me; heal me, I have sinned against you. |
| 6我的仇敵反而惡言辱罵我說：「他何時死，他的名字幾時泯滅？」 |
6My enemies say the worst of me: 'When will that one die and be forgotten?' |
| 7前來探訪我的人，只以虛言相待，其實是心懷惡意，出去便說出來。 |
7When people come to visit me, they speak without sincerity. Their hearts store up malice; they leave and spread their vicious lies. |
| 8恨我的人，個個竊竊私議，咒我遭殃生疾： |
8My foes all whisper against me; they imagine the worst about me: |
| 9「願他身患惡疾！願他一病不起！」 |
9I have a deadly disease, they say; I will never rise from my sickbed. |
| 10連我素來信賴的知心友好，吃過我飯的人，也舉腳踢我。 |
10 Even the friend who had my trust, who shared my table, has scorned me. |
| 11上主，求你可憐我，使我病除，為使我能對他們加以復仇。 |
11 But you, LORD, have mercy and raise me up that I may repay them as they deserve." |
| 12我以此作為你真愛我的記號：就是不讓我的敵人向我誇耀； |
12By this I know you are pleased with me, that my enemy no longer jeers at me. |
| 13你時常保持我無災無難，使我永遠站在你的面前。 |
13For my integrity you have supported me and let me stand in your presence forever. |
| 14願上主，以色列天主，受讚頌，自永遠直到永遠，阿們，阿們！ |
14 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from all eternity and forever. Amen. Amen. |
