| 1達味訓誨歌，交與樂官，悲調。 |
1 For the leader; according to Mahalath. A maskil of David. |
| 2愚妄的人心中說：「沒有天主」，他們都喪盡天良，恣意作惡。行善的人實在找不到一個。 |
2Fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." Their deeds are loathsome and corrupt; not one does what is right. |
| 3天主由高天俯視世人的子孫，察看有無尋覓天主的明智人， |
3God looks down from heaven upon the human race, To see if even one is wise, if even one seeks God. |
| 4人人都離棄了正道，趨向邪惡，沒有一人行善，實在沒有一個。 |
4All have gone astray; all alike are perverse. Not one does what is right, not even one. |
| 5那些作奸犯科的人，吞我民如食饅頭；總不呼號天主的人，豈不是愚蠢糊塗？ |
5Will these evildoers never learn? They devour my people as they devour bread; they do not call upon God. |
| 6在不應驚慌之處，他們反倒驚惶發呆，因為天主分散了那圍攻你者的骨骸，他們必將蒙羞，因天主已把他們棄捨。 |
6They have good reason to fear, though now they do not fear. For God will certainly scatter the bones of the godless. They will surely be put to shame, for God has rejected them. |
| 7惟願以色列人的救援來自聖熙雍！一旦天主將自己民族的命運變更，雅各伯必將喜慶，以色列必將歡騰。 |
7Oh, that from Zion might come the deliverance of Israel, That Jacob may rejoice and Israel be glad when God restores the people! |
