1 A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. |
| 2天主，你是我的天主，我急切尋覓你；我的靈魂渴慕你，我的肉身切望你，我有如一塊乾旱涸竭的無水田地。 |
2O God, you are my God-- for you I long! For you my body yearns; for you my soul thirsts, Like a land parched, lifeless, and without water. |
| 3昔日我曾在聖殿裏瞻仰過你，為看到你的威能，和你的光輝； |
3So I look to you in the sanctuary to see your power and glory. |
| 4因你的慈愛比命更寶貴，我的唇舌要時常稱頌你。 |
4 For your love is better than life; my lips offer you worship! |
| 5我要一生一世讚美你，我要因你名把手舉起！ |
5I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands, calling on your name. |
| 6我的靈魂好似飽享了膏脂，我要以歡愉的口唇讚美你。 |
6My soul shall savor the rich banquet of praise, with joyous lips my mouth shall honor you! |
| 7當我在我床上想起了你時，我便徹夜不寐地默想着你。 |
7When I think of you upon my bed, through the night watches I will recall |
| 8因為你曾作了我的助佑，我要在你的羽翼下歡舞。 |
8That you indeed are my help, and in the shadow of your wings I shout for joy. |
| 9我的靈魂緊緊追隨你，你的右手常常扶持我。 |
9My soul clings fast to you; your right hand upholds me. |
| 10那些謀圖陷害我命的人，必將墮落在地下的深層； |
10But those who seek my life will come to ruin; they shall go down to the depths of the earth! |
| 11他們必為刀劍所殺死，也必然為野犬所分食。 |
11They shall be handed over to the sword and become the prey of jackals! |
| 12但是君王必要因天主而喜慶；凡以天主宣誓的人，必要自幸，因為說謊的口，必要瘖啞失聲。 |
12 But the king shall rejoice in God; all who swear by the Lord shall exult, for the mouths of liars will be shut! |
