1 For the leader; "upon the gittith." Of Asaph. |
| 2請眾向助佑我們的天主歌舞，向雅各伯的天主歡呼。 |
2Sing joyfully to God our strength; shout in triumph to the God of Jacob! |
| 3請眾高唱詩歌，手擊鐃鼓，和彈琴瑟，奏悅耳的樂譜。 |
3Take up a melody, sound the timbrel, the sweet-sounding harp and lyre. |
| 4在月朔之日和月圓之夜，在我們的慶節，吹起號角， |
4 Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our solemn feast. |
| 5因為這是以色列的規定，是雅各伯天主的誡命， |
5For this is a law in Israel, an edict of the God of Jacob, |
| 6當他出擊埃及國時，給若瑟立了這法規。我聽到從未聽的諾言： |
6 Who made it a decree for Joseph when he came out of the land of Egypt. II I hear a new oracle: |
| 7「我救他的肩脫離重擔，又使他的手放下筐籃。 |
7 "I relieved their shoulders of the burden; their hands put down the basket. |
| 8你在患難中呼號，我救拔了你，從雷鳴的雲彩中，我答應了你；在默黎巴的水邊，我試探了你。（休止） |
8 In distress you called and I rescued you; unseen, I spoke to you in thunder; At the waters of Meribah I tested you and said: Selah |
| 9請聽，我的百姓，我要警告你！以色列！恨不得你能聽從我： |
9'Listen, my people, I give you warning! If only you will obey me, Israel! |
| 10在你中間不應有別的神，千萬不可崇拜外邦的神！ |
10 There must be no foreign god among you; you must not worship an alien god. |
| 11我是上主，我是你的天主，是我由埃及國將你領出，你張開口，我要使它滿足。 |
11I, the LORD, am your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. Open wide your mouth that I may fill it.' |
| 12可惜我的百姓沒有聽我的呼聲，以色列人也沒有服從我的命令。 |
12But my people did not listen to my words; Israel did not obey me. |
| 13因此，我就任憑他們的心靈頑硬，讓他們隨自己的私意而行。 |
13So I gave them over to hardness of heart; they followed their own designs. |
| 14如果我的百姓聽了我的命令，以色列人隨從我的道路而行， |
14But even now if my people would listen, if Israel would walk in my paths, |
| 15我立刻就會壓迫他們的敵人，轉過手打擊難為他們的仇人。 |
15In a moment I would subdue their foes, against their enemies unleash my hand. |
| 16仇恨上主的人必來向他們歸順，仇人的厄運從此要永久常存。 |
16Those who hate the LORD would tremble, their doom sealed forever. |
| 17但我要以麥子的精華養育選民，以石中的蜂蜜飽享他們。」 |
17But Israel I would feed with the finest wheat, satisfy them with honey from the rock." |
