| 1看哪！有個君王將秉義為王，王侯也將秉公執政。 |
1See, a king will reign justly and princes will rule rightly. |
| 2個個將如避風的處所，避雨的遮蓋，如荒漠中的水流，如旱乾地上巨石的蔭影。 |
2Each of them will be a shelter from the wind, a retreat from the rain. They will be like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a great rock in a parched land. |
| 3看得見的眼睛不再矇矓，聽得見的耳朵必將傾聽。 |
3The eyes of those who see will not be closed;. the ears of those who hear will be attentive, |
| 4急躁人的心將會體味智識，口吃者的舌將會暢於言談。 |
4The flighty will become wise and capable, and the stutterers will speak fluently and clearly. |
| 5愚昧的人不再叫作貴人，奸險的人不再稱為紳士， |
5No more will the fool be called noble, nor the trickster be considered honorable, |
| 6因為愚昧的人出言愚昧，心懷邪僻，肆意作惡，發表褻瀆上主的謬論，使飢者枵腹，使渴者絕飲。 |
6For the fool speaks foolishly, planning evil in his heart:. How to do wickedness, to speak perversely against the LORD, To let the hungry go empty and the thirsty be without drink, |
| 7奸險者的手段毒辣，只籌劃惡計，用誑言毀滅卑微的人，在窮人的案件上顛倒曲直。 |
7And the trickster uses wicked trickery, planning crimes: How to ruin the poor with lies, and the needy when they plead their case. |
| 8但是貴人策劃高貴的事，他常以高貴行事。 |
8But the noble man plans noble things, and by noble things he stands. |
| 9圖安逸的婦女們，起來，請聽我的聲音！無憂的女子們，請傾聽我的言語！ |
9O complacent ladies, rise up and hear my voice, overconfident women, give heed to my words. |
| 10稍過年餘，你們無憂的女子必受驚擾，因為葡萄沒有收穫，穀粒一無收成。 |
10In a little more than a year you overconfident ones will be shaken; The vintage will fail, there will be no harvest. |
| 11安逸的婦女們！你們必將顫抖；無憂的女子們！你們必受驚擾；你們脫光衣服，腰間纏上麻布罷！ |
11Tremble, you who are complacent! Shudder, you who are overconfident! Strip yourselves bare, with only a loincloth to cover you, |
| 12你們必要為了肥沃的田地，為了結實的葡萄園而搥胸， |
12Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, the fruitful vine, |
| 13為了我百姓生滿荊棘和蒺藜的土地，為了所有的娛樂家園，為了歡欣的城市而悲傷， |
13And the soil of my people, overgrown whth thorns and briers; For all the joyful houses, the wanton city. |
| 14因為宮闕已荒廢，喧擾的城市已荒涼，敖斐耳和巴罕永遠成了廢墟，成了野驢喜樂的地帶，成了羊群的牧場。 |
14 Yes, the castle will be forsaken, the noisy city deserted; |
| 15及至神自上傾注在我們身上，荒野將變為田園，田園將變為叢林； |
15Down it comes, as trees come down in the forest! The city will be utterly laid low. Hill and tower will become wasteland forever for wild asses to frolic in, and flocks to pasture, |
| 16公平將居於荒野，正義將住在田園。 |
16 Until the spirit from on high is poured out on us. Then will the desert become an orchard and the orchard be regarded as a forest. |
| 17正義的功效是和平，公平的碩果是永恆的寧靜和安全。 |
17Right will dwell in the desert and justice abide in the orchard. |
| 18我的百姓將住安謐的寓所，安全的宅第，清靜憩息之所， |
18Justice will bring about peace; right will produce calm and security. |
| 19縱然叢林全被摧毀，京城全被蕩平。 |
19My people will live in peaceful country, in secure dwellings and quiet resting places. |
| 20你們播種於多水之濱；使牛驢任意走動的人，是有福的。 |
20Happy are you who sow beside every stream, and let the ox and the ass go freely! |
