Hosea |
| 1「來，我們回到上主那裏去，因為他撕碎了我們，也必要治癒；他打傷了我們，也必要包紮。 |
1 In their affliction, they shall look for me: "Come, let us return to the LORD, For it is he who has rent, but he will heal us; he has struck us, but he will bind our wounds. |
| 2兩天後他必使我們復生，第三天他必使我們興起，生活在他的慈顏下。 |
2 He will revive us after two days; on the third day he will raise us up, to live in his presence. |
| 3讓我們認識上主，讓我們努力認識上主！他定要像曙光一樣出現，他要來到我們中間，有如秋雨，有如滋潤田地的春雨。」 |
3Let us know, let us strive to know the LORD; as certain as the dawn is his coming, and his judgment shines forth like the light of day! He will come to us like the rain, like spring rain that waters the earth." |
| 4厄弗辣因，我可對你作什麼？猶大，我可對你作什麼？因為你們的仁愛有如早晨的浮雲，有如易於消逝的朝露。 |
4 What can I do with you, Ephraim? What can I do with you, Judah? Your piety is like a morning cloud, like the dew that early passes away. |
| 5因此，我藉先知們砍伐了他們，以我口中的言語殺戮了他們；我的裁判出現有如光明： |
5For this reason I smote them through the prophets, I slew them by the words of my mouth; |
| 6因為我喜歡仁愛勝過祭獻，喜歡人認識天主勝過全燔祭。 |
6For it is love that I desire, not sacrifice, and knowledge of God rather than holocausts. |
| 7但是他們在阿當就違犯了盟約，在那裏已背叛了我。 |
7But they, in their land, violated the covenant; there they were untrue to me. |
| 8基肋阿得是座作惡者的城池，滿了血跡。 |
8Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with blood. |
| 9一隊司祭就如埋伏的強盜，在往舍根的路上行兇；的確，他們行了可恥的事。 |
9As brigands ambush a man, a band of priests slay on the way to Shechem, committing monstrous crime. |
| 10在貝特耳我見了可惡的事：在那裏厄弗辣因行了淫，以色列玷污了自己。 |
10In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing: there harlotry is found in Ephraim, Israel is defiled. |
| 11當我轉變我百姓的命運時，猶大啊！為你也注定了一個收割期。 |
11 For you also, O Judah, a harvest has been appointed. |
