| 1你應做焚香的壇，用皂莢木製造， |
1"For burning incense you shall make an altar of acacia wood, |
| 2長一肘，寬一肘，方形，高二肘，四角從壇上突出。 |
2with a square surface, a cubit long, a cubit wide, and two cubits high, with horns that spring directly from it. |
| 3壇、壇的上面、四壁、周圍和四角，都包上純金；壇周圍做上金花邊。 |
3Its grate on top, its walls on all four sides, and its horns you shall plate with pure gold. Put a gold molding around it. |
| 4壇兩側花邊下，做兩個金環，兩面都做，為穿杠桿，抬香壇之用。 |
4Underneath the molding you shall put gold rings, two on one side and two on the opposite side, as holders for the poles used in carrying it. |
| 5用皂莢木做兩根杠桿包上金。 |
5Make the poles, too, of acacia wood and plate them with gold. |
| 6把香壇安置在約櫃前面掛的帳幔前，就是在我與你會晤的約櫃上的贖罪蓋之前。 |
6This altar you are to place in front of the veil that hangs before the ark of the commandments where I will meet you. |
| 7亞郎要在壇上焚燒香料；每天早晨整理燈盞時要焚香； |
7"On it Aaron shall burn fragrant incense. Morning after morning, when he prepares the lamps, |
| 8晚間亞郎換放燈盞時也要焚香：這是你們世世代代在上主前不斷的焚香禮。 |
8and again in the evening twilight, when he lights the lamps, he shall burn incense. Throughout your generations this shall be the established incense offering before the LORD. |
| 9在這壇上不准焚別的香，也不准獻全燔祭和素祭或奠祭。 |
9On this altar you shall not offer up any profane incense, or any holocaust or cereal offering; nor shall you pour out a libation upon it. |
| 10亞郎每年一次在這壇的四角上行贖罪禮，用贖罪祭贖罪犧牲的血，每年一次為這壇行贖罪禮。你們世世代代應行此禮，將壇祝聖於上主為至聖之物。」 |
10Once a year Aaron shall perform the atonement rite on its horns. Throughout your generations this atonement is to be made once a year with the blood of the atoning sin offering. This altar is most sacred to the LORD." |
| 11上主訓示梅瑟說： |
11The LORD also said to Moses, |
| 12「當你統計以色列子民人數的時候，凡被統計的人，每人應獻給上主贖命金，免得在統計的時候，災禍降在他們身上。 |
12"When you take a census of the Israelites who are to be registered, each one, as he is enrolled, shall give the LORD a forfeit for his life, so that no plague may come upon them for being registered. |
| 13凡被統計過的，每人應按聖所的衡量繳納半『協刻耳』，── 一『協刻耳』等於二十『革辣』，──這半『協刻耳』是給上主的獻儀。 |
13Everyone who enters the registered group must pay a half-shekel, according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel, twenty gerahs to the shekel. This payment of a half-shekel is a contribution to the LORD. |
| 14凡被統計過的，自二十歲以上起，要獻給上主獻儀： |
14Everyone of twenty years or more who enters the registered group must give this contribution to the LORD. |
| 15富的不多納，窮的也不少出，一概出半『協刻耳』，給上主作獻儀，作你們的贖命金。 |
15The rich need not give more, nor shall the poor give less, than a half-shekel in this contribution to the LORD to pay the forfeit for their lives. |
| 16你從以色列子民所取的贖命金，應拿來為會幕用。這為子民在上主前是一個記念，也贖回了你們的性命。」 |
16When you receive this forfeit money from the Israelites, you shall donate it to the service of the meeting tent, that there it may be the Israelites' reminder before the LORD, of the forfeit paid for their lives." |
| 17上主訓示梅瑟說： |
17The LORD said to Moses, |
| 18「你應做一銅盆和銅盆座，為洗濯之用；把盆安在會幕和祭壇之間，盆中放上水， |
18"For ablutions you shall make a bronze laver with a bronze base. Place it between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it. |
| 19好叫亞郎和他的兒子們在盆中洗手洗腳。 |
19Aaron and his sons shall use it in washing their hands and feet. |
| 20他們進會幕，或走近祭壇行禮，或向上主焚燒火祭時，要用水洗，免得死亡。 |
20When they are about to enter the meeting tent, they must wash with water, lest they die. Likewise when they approach the altar in their ministry, to offer an oblation to the LORD, |
| 21他們應洗手洗腳，免得死亡：這為他和他的子孫世世代代是永遠的規律。」 |
21they must wash their hands and feet, lest they die. This shall be a perpetual ordinance for him and his descendants throughout their generations." |
| 22上主訓示梅瑟說： |
22The LORD said to Moses, |
| 23「你要拿上等的香料：純正沒藥五百『協刻耳』，香肉桂為沒藥的一半，即二百五十『協刻耳』，香菖蒲二百五十『協刻耳』， |
23"Take the finest spices: five hundred shekels of free-flowing myrrh; half that amount, that is, two hundred and fifty shekels, of fragrant cinnamon; two hundred and fifty shekels of fragrant cane; |
| 24桂皮按聖所的衡量五百『協刻耳』，橄欖油一『辛』， |
24five hundred shekels of cassia-all according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel; together with a hin of olive oil; |
| 25用這些材料配製傅禮用的聖油，像配製香膏的方法配製，作為傅禮用的聖油。 |
25and blend them into sacred anointing oil, perfumed ointment expertly prepared. |
| 26用此油傅會幕和約櫃， |
26With this sacred anointing oil you shall anoint the meeting tent and the ark of the commandments, |
| 27供桌和其上的一切器具，燈台和一切用具，香壇， |
27the table and all its appurtenances, the lampstand and its appurtenances, the altar of incense |
| 28全燔祭壇和壇上的一切用具、盆和盆座。 |
28and the altar of holocausts with all its appurtenances, and the laver with its base. |
| 29你祝聖過的，都成了至聖之物，凡接觸這些物件的，也成為聖的。 |
29When you have consecrated them, they shall be most sacred; whatever touches them shall be sacred. |
| 30你也要給亞郎和他的兒子們傅油，祝聖他們作我的司祭。 |
30Aaron and his sons you shall also anoint and consecrate as my priests. |
| 31你要吩咐以色列子民說：你們應世世代代以此為傅禮用的聖油， |
31To the Israelites you shall say: As sacred anointing oil this shall belong to me throughout your generations. |
| 32不准將此油倒在俗人身上，也不准用這配製的方法配製這樣的油，因為是聖油，你們應以為聖物。 |
32It may not be used in any ordinary anointing of the body, nor may you make any other oil of a like mixture. It is sacred, and shall be treated as sacred by you. |
| 33無論誰若配製這樣的油，或用這油傅了凡人，應將他從百姓中剷除。」 |
33Whoever prepares a perfume like this, or whoever puts any of this on a layman, shall be cut off from his kinsmen." |
| 34上主向梅瑟說：「你要取這些香料：就是蘇合香、香螺和白松香；這些香料與純乳香應有相等的分量， |
34The LORD told Moses, "Take these aromatic substances: storax and onycha and galbanum, these and pure frankincense in equal parts; |
| 35以香膏的配製法配成香，再加上鹽，使之成為純潔和聖的。 |
35and blend them into incense. This fragrant powder, expertly prepared, is to be salted and so kept pure and sacred. |
| 36將一部分研成碎末，獻在會幕中的約櫃前，即我與你會晤的地方；這為你們是至聖之物。 |
36Grind some of it into fine dust and put this before the commandments in the meeting tent where I will meet you. This incense shall be treated as most sacred by you. |
| 37你所配製的這種香，不准配製為自己用，應當作聖物，只為上主用。 |
37You may not make incense of a like mixture for yourselves; you must treat it as sacred to the LORD. |
| 38無論誰若配製這樣的香料，為聞香氣，應將他從百姓中剷除。」 |
38Whoever makes an incense like this for his own enjoyment of its fragrance, shall be cut off from his kinsmen." |
