| 1上主回答梅瑟說：「現在你就要看見我對法郎所要作的；在強硬的手臂下，他必放走他們；在強硬的手腕下，他必將他們逐出自己的國境。」 |
1Then the LORD answered Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. Forced by my mighty hand, he will send them away; compelled by my outstretched arm, he will drive them from his land." |
| 2天主訓示梅瑟說：「我是雅威。 |
2God also said to Moses, "I am the LORD. |
| 3我曾顯現給亞巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯為「全能的天主」，但沒有以「雅威」的名字將我啟示給他們。 |
3As God the Almighty I appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but my name, LORD, I did not make known to them. |
| 4我也與他們立了約，許下將他們寄居而作客的客納罕地賜給他們。 |
4I also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they were living as aliens. |
| 5如今我聽見了以色列子民因埃及人的奴役而發的哀號，想起了我的約。 |
5And now that I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are treating as slaves, I am mindful of my covenant. |
| 6為此你應該對以色列子民說：我是上主，我要使你們擺脫埃及人的虐待，拯救你們脫離他們的奴役，用伸開的手臂，藉嚴厲的懲罰救贖你們。 |
6Therefore, say to the Israelites: I am the LORD. I will free you from the forced labor of the Egyptians and will deliver you from their slavery. I will rescue you by my outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. |
| 7我要以你們作我的百姓，我作你們的天主。你們將承認我是上主，你們的天主，使你們擺脫埃及人的虐待。 |
7I will take you as my own people, and you shall have me as your God. You will know that I, the LORD, am your God when I free you from the labor of the Egyptians |
| 8我領你們要去的地方，就是我舉手誓許給亞巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯的地方；我要把那地方賜給你們作為產業。──我是上主。」 |
8and bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I will give it to you as your own possession--I, the LORD!" |
| 9梅瑟將這些話告訴了以色列子民，但他們由於苦工喪氣，不肯聽梅瑟的話。 |
9But when Moses told this to the Israelites, they would not listen to him because of their dejection and hard slavery. |
| 10上主訓示梅瑟說： |
10Then the LORD said to Moses, |
| 11「你去告訴埃及王法郎說：叫他將以色列子民由他國中放走。」 |
11"Go and tell Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to let the Israelites leave his land." |
| 12梅瑟當面回答上主說：「以色列子民既不肯聽我，法郎又怎肯聽我？況且我又是笨口結舌的人。」 |
12But Moses protested to the LORD, "If the Israelites would not listen to me, how can it be that Pharaoh will listen to me, poor speaker that I am!" |
| 13上主訓示梅瑟和亞郎，命令他們去見以色列子民和埃及王法郎，好領以色列子民出離埃及國。 |
13Still, the LORD, to bring the Israelites out of Egypt, spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them his orders regarding both the Israelites and Pharaoh, king of Egypt. |
| 14以下是他們家族的族長：以色列的長子勒烏本的兒子：有哈諾客、帕路、赫茲龍和加爾米：以上是勒烏本的家族。 |
14 These are the heads of the ancestral houses. The sons of Reuben, the first-born of Israel, were Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the clans of Reuben. |
| 15西默盎的兒子：有耶慕耳、雅明、敖哈得、雅津、祚哈爾和客納罕女子生的兒子沙烏耳：以上是西默盎的家族。 |
15The sons of Simeon were Jenuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar and Shaul, who was the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the clans of Simeon. |
| 16以下是肋未的兒子和他們後代的名字：革爾雄、刻哈特和默辣黎。肋未享年一百三十七歲。 |
16The names of the sons of Levi, in their genealogical order, are Gershon, Kohath and Merari. Levi lived one hundred and thirty-seven years. |
| 17革爾雄的兒子：有里貝尼和史米以及他們的家族。 |
17The sons of Gershon, as heads of clans, were Libni and Shimei. |
| 18刻哈特的兒子：有阿默蘭、依茲哈爾、赫貝龍、烏齊耳。刻哈特享年一百三十三歲。 |
18The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath lived one hundred and thirty-three years. |
| 19默辣黎的兒子有：瑪赫里和慕史：以上是肋未各家族和他們的後代。 |
19The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of Levi in their genealogical order. |
| 20阿默蘭娶了自己的姑母約革貝得為妻，她給他生了亞郎和梅瑟。阿默蘭享年一百三十七歲。 |
20 Amram married his aunt Jochebed, who bore him Aaron, Moses and Miriam. Amram lived one hundred and thirty-seven years. |

21The sons of Izhar were Korah, Nepheg and Zichri. |
| 22烏齊耳的兒子：有米沙耳、厄里匝番和息特黎。 |
22The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, Elzaphan and Sithri. |
| 23亞郎娶了阿米納達布的女兒，納赫雄的姊妹厄里舍巴為妻，她給亞郎生了納達布、阿彼胡、厄肋阿匝爾和依塔瑪爾。 |
23Aaron married Amminadab's daughter, Elisheba, the sister of Nahshon; she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. |
| 24科辣黑的兒子：有阿息爾、厄耳卡納和阿彼雅撒夫：以上是科辣黑的各家族。 |
24The sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah and Abiasaph. These are the clans of the Korahites. |
| 25亞郎的兒子厄肋阿匝爾娶了普提耳的一個女兒為妻，她給他生了丕乃哈斯：以上是肋未人各支屬的族長。 |
25Aaron's son, Eleazar, married one of Putiel's daughters, who bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the ancestral clans of the Levites. |
| 26天主曾向亞郎和梅瑟說過：「你們應領以色列子民一隊一隊地出埃及國。」 |
26This is the Aaron and this the Moses to whom the LORD said, "Lead the Israelites from the land of Egypt, company by company." |
| 27這個梅瑟和亞郎曾向埃及王法郎說過：要將以色列子民從埃及領出來。 |
27These are the ones who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to bring the Israelites out of Egypt--the same Moses and Aaron. |
| 28當上主在埃及國對梅瑟說話的那一天， |
28On the day the LORD spoke to Moses in Egypt |
| 29上主曾對梅瑟說：「我是上主。你應該把我對你所說的一切話告訴埃及王法郎。」 |
29he said, "I am the LORD. Repeat to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all that I tell you." |
| 30梅瑟當面回答上主說：「看，我是個笨口結舌的人，法郎怎麼肯聽我？」 |
30But Moses protested to the LORD, "Since I am a poor speaker, how can it be that Pharaoh will listen to me?" |
