| 1那時，耶穌在安息日由麥田中經過：他的門徒餓了，開始掐麥穗吃。 |
1 At that time Jesus was going through a field of grain on the sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat them. |
| 2法利塞人一見，便對他說：「看，你的門徒作安息日不許作的事。」 |
2When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, "See, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath." |
| 3耶穌對他們說：「你們沒有念過：達味與那些同他在一起的人，饑餓時，作了什麼？ |
3He said to them, "Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry, |
| 4他怎樣進了天主的殿，吃了供餅？這供餅原是不准他吃，也不准同他在一起的人吃，而是只許司祭吃的。 |
4how he went into the house of God and ate the bread of offering, which neither he nor his companions but only the priests could lawfully eat? |
| 5或者你們在法律上沒有念過：安息日，司祭在聖殿內違犯了安息日，也不算為罪過嗎？ |
5 Or have you not read in the law that on the sabbath the priests serving in the temple violate the sabbath and are innocent? |
| 6但我告訴你們：這裏有比聖殿更大的。 |
6I say to you, something greater than the temple is here. |
| 7假如你們瞭解『我喜愛仁愛勝過祭獻』是什麼，你們就決不會判斷無罪的人了， |
7 If you knew what this meant, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned these innocent men. |
| 8因為人子是安息日的主。」 |
8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the sabbath." |
| 9耶穌就離開那裏，進了他們的會堂。 |
9Moving on from there, he went into their synagogue. |
| 10看，那裏有一個人，他的一隻手乾枯了，他們問耶穌說：「安息日許不許治病？」為的是要控告他。 |
10And behold, there was a man there who had a withered hand. They questioned him, "Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath?" so that they might accuse him. |
| 11耶穌對他們說：「你們中誰有一隻羊，假如安息日掉在坑裏，而不把牠抓住，拉上來呢？ |
11 He said to them, "Which one of you who has a sheep that falls into a pit on the sabbath will not take hold of it and lift it out? |
| 12人比羊貴重得多了！所以，安息日是許可行善的。」 |
12How much more valuable a person is than a sheep. So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath." |
| 13於是給那人說：「伸出你的手來！」那人一伸出來，手就完好如初，同另一隻一樣。 |
13Then he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and it was restored as sound as the other. |
| 14法利塞人出去，商討怎樣陷害耶穌，怎樣除滅他。 |
14But the Pharisees went out and took counsel against him to put him to death. |
| 15耶穌知道了，就離開那裏；有許多人跟隨他，他都治好了他們； |
15 When Jesus realized this, he withdrew from that place. Many (people) followed him, and he cured them all, |
| 16且警告他們不要將他傳揚出去： |
16but he warned them not to make him known. |
| 17這是為應驗那藉依撒意亞先知所說的話： |
17This was to fulfill what had been spoken through Isaiah the prophet: |
| 18『看，我的僕人，他是我所揀選，我所鍾愛的；他是我心靈所喜悅的；我要使我的神住在他身上，他必向外邦人傳布真道。 |
18"Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom I delight; I shall place my spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. |
| 19他不爭辯，也不喧嚷，在街市上沒有人聽到他的聲音： |
19He will not contend or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets. |
| 20已壓破的蘆葦，他不折斷；將熄滅的燈心，他不吹滅，直到他使真道勝利。 |
20A bruised reed he will not break, a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory. |
| 21外邦人將要期待他的名字。』 |
21And in his name the Gentiles will hope." |
| 22那時，有人給他領來一個又瞎又啞的附魔人，耶穌治好了他，以致這啞吧能說話，也能看見。 |
22 Then they brought to him a demoniac who was blind and mute. He cured the mute person so that he could speak and see. |
| 23群眾都驚奇說：「莫非這人是達味之子嗎？」 |
23 All the crowd was astounded, and said, "Could this perhaps be the Son of David?" |
| 24法利塞人聽了，說：「這人驅魔，無非是仗賴魔王貝耳則步。」 |
24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man drives out demons only by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons." |
| 25耶穌知道了他們的意念，就對他們說：「凡一國自相紛爭，必成廢墟；凡一城或一家自相紛爭，必不得存立。 |
25But he knew what they were thinking and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste, and no town or house divided against itself will stand. |
| 26如果撒殫驅逐撒殫，是自相紛爭，那麼他的國如何能存立呢？ |
26And if Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself; how, then, will his kingdom stand? |
| 27如果我仗賴貝耳則步驅魔，你們的子弟是仗賴誰驅魔？為此，他們將是你們的裁判者。 |
27And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your own people drive them out? Therefore they will be your judges. |
| 28如果我仗賴天主的神驅魔，那麼，天主的國已來到你們中間了。 |
28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. |
| 29或者，一個人如何能進入一個壯士的家，搶他的家具？除非先把壯士捆住，然後纔搶他的家。 |
29 How can anyone enter a strong man's house and steal his property, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house. |
| 30不隨同我的，就是反對我；不與我收集的，就是分散。 |
30 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. |
| 31為此，我告訴你們：一切罪過和褻瀆，人都可得赦免；但是褻瀆聖神的罪，必不得赦免。 |
31Therefore, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. |
| 32凡出言干犯人子的，可得赦免；但出言干犯聖神的，在今世及來世，都不得赦免。」 |
32And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. |
| 33「你們或者說樹好，它的果子也好；或者說樹壞，它的果子也壞，因為由果子可認出樹來。 |
33"Either declare the tree good and its fruit is good, or declare the tree rotten and its fruit is rotten, for a tree is known by its fruit. |
| 34毒蛇的種類哪！你們既是惡的，怎能說出善來？因為心裏充滿什麼，口裏就說什麼。 |
34 You brood of vipers, how can you say good things when you are evil? For from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks. |
| 35善人從善庫裏，取出善來；惡人從惡庫裏，取出惡來。 |
35A good person brings forth good out of a store of goodness, but an evil person brings forth evil out of a store of evil. |
| 36但我告訴你們：人所說的每句廢話，在審判之日，都要交賬， |
36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will render an account for every careless word they speak. |
| 37因為憑你的話，要定你為義人；也憑你的話，要定你為罪人。」 |
37By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." |
| 38那時，有幾個經師和法利塞人對耶穌說：「師傅，我們願意你顯示一個徵兆給我們看。」 |
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, "Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you." |
| 39他回答他們說：「邪惡淫亂的世代要求徵兆，但除了約納先知的徵兆外，必不給它其他的徵兆。 |
39He said to them in reply, "An evil and unfaithful generation seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. |
| 40有如約納曾在大魚腹中三天三夜；同樣，人子也要在地裏三天三夜。 |
40Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. |
| 41尼尼微人在審判時，將同這一代人起來，定他們的罪，因為尼尼微人因了約納的宣講而悔改了；看，這裏有一位大於約納的！ |
41 At the judgment, the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and there is something greater than Jonah here. |
| 42南方的女王，在審判時，將同這一代人起來，而定他們的罪，因為她從地極而來，聽撒羅滿的智慧；看，這裏有一位大於撒羅滿的！ |
42At the judgment the queen of the south will arise with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and there is something greater than Solomon here. |
| 43邪魔由人身上出來以後，走遍乾旱之地，尋找一個安息之所，卻沒有尋着； |
43 "When an unclean spirit goes out of a person it roams through arid regions searching for rest but finds none. |
| 44他於是說：我要回到我出來的那間屋裏去。他來到後，見裏面空着，打掃乾淨，裝飾整齊， |
44Then it says, 'I will return to my home from which I came.' But upon returning, it finds it empty, swept clean, and put in order. |
| 45就去，另外帶了七個比他更惡的魔鬼來，進去，住在那裏；那人末後的處境就比以前的更壞了。對這邪惡的世代也必是這樣。」 |
45Then it goes and brings back with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they move in and dwell there; and the last condition of that person is worse than the first. Thus it will be with this evil generation." |
| 46耶穌還同群眾說話的時候，看，他的母親和他的兄弟，站在外邊，想要同他說話。 |
46 While he was still speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers appeared outside, wishing to speak with him. |
| 47有人告訴他說：「看！你的母親同你的兄弟，站在外邊，想要同你說話。」 |
47(Someone told him, "Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, asking to speak with you.") |
| 48他卻回答那告訴他的人說：「誰是我的母親？誰是我的兄弟？」 |
48But he said in reply to the one who told him, "Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?" |
| 49遂伸出他的手，指着自己的門徒說：「看！我的母親，我的兄弟！ |
49And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. |
| 50不拘誰遵行我在天之父的意旨，他就是我的兄弟、姊妹和母親。」 |
50For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother." |
