| 1安息日既過，一週的第一日，天快亮時，瑪利亞瑪達肋納和另外一個瑪利亞來看墳墓。 |
1 After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. |
| 2忽然發生了大地震，因為上主的天使從天降來，上前把石碩滾開，坐在上面。 |
2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. |
| 3他的容貌好像閃電，他的衣服潔白如雪。 |
3His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. |
| 4看守的人由於怕他，嚇得打顫，變得好像死人一樣。 |
4The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. |
| 5天使對婦女說道：「你們不要害怕！我知道你們尋找被釘死的耶穌。 |
5Then the angel said to the women in reply, "Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. |
| 6他不在這裏，因為他已經照他所說的復活了。你們來看看那安放過他的地方； |
6 He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. |
| 7並且快去對他的門徒說：他已經由死者中復活了。看！他在你們以先往加里肋亞去，在那裏你們要看見他。看！我已經告訴了你們。」 |
7Then go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.' Behold, I have told you." |
| 8她們趕快離開墳墓，又恐懼又異常喜樂，跑去報告他的門徒。 |
8Then they went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran to announce this to his disciples. |
| 9忽然，耶穌迎上她們說：「願你們平安！」她們遂上前抱住耶穌的腳，朝拜了他。 |
9 And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage. |
| 10耶穌對她們說：「不要害怕！你們去，報告我的兄弟，叫他們往加里肋亞去，他們要在那裏看見我。」 |
10Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me." |
| 11當婦女離去的時候，有幾個看守的兵士來到城裏，把所發生的事，全告訴了司祭長。 |
11 While they were going, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had happened. |
| 12司祭長就同長老聚會商議之後，給了兵士許多錢， |
12They assembled with the elders and took counsel; then they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, |
| 13囑咐他們說：「你們就說：我們睡覺的時候，他的門徒夜間來了，把他偷去了。 |
13telling them, "You are to say, 'His disciples came by night and stole him while we were asleep.' |
| 14如果這事為總督聽見，有我們說好話，保管你們無事。」 |
14And if this gets to the ears of the governor, we will satisfy (him) and keep you out of trouble." |
| 15兵士拿了銀錢，就照他們所囑咐的做了。這消息在猶太人間傳揚開了，一直到今天。 |
15The soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has circulated among the Jews to the present (day). |
| 16十一個門徒就往加里肋亞，到耶穌給他們所指定的山上去了。 |
16 The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. |
| 17他們一看見他，就朝拜了他，雖然有人還心中疑惑。 |
17 When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted. |
| 18耶穌便上前對他們說：「天上地下的一切權柄都交給了我， |
18 Then Jesus approached and said to them, "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. |
| 19所以你們要去使萬民成為門徒，因父及子及聖神之名給他們授洗， |
19Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, |
| 20教訓他們遵守我所吩咐你們的一切。看！我同你們天天在一起，直到今世的終結。」 |
20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age." |
