| 1耶穌從山上下來，有許多群眾跟隨他。 |
1 When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. |
| 2看，有一個癩病人前來叩拜耶穌說：「主！你若願意，就能潔淨我。」 |
2And then a leper approached, did him homage, and said, "Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean." |
| 3耶穌就伸手撫摸他說：「我願意，你潔淨了罷！」他的癩病立刻就潔淨了。 |
3He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, "I will do it. Be made clean." His leprosy was cleansed immediately. |
| 4耶穌對他說：「小心，不要對任何人說！但去叫司祭檢驗你，獻上梅瑟所規定的禮物，給他們當做證據。」 |
4 Then Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them." |
| 5耶穌進了葛法翁，有一位百夫長來到他跟前，求他說： |
5 When he entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him and appealed to him, |
| 6「主！我的僕人癱瘓了，躺在家裏，疼痛的很厲害。」 |
6saying, "Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully." |
| 7耶穌對他說：「我去治好他。」 |
7He said to him, "I will come and cure him." |
| 8百夫長答說：「主！我不堪當你到舍下來，你只要說一句話，我的僕人就會好的。 |
8The centurion said in reply, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed. |
| 9因為我雖是屬人權下的人，但是我也有士兵屬我權下；我對這個說：你去，他就去；對另一個說：你來，他就來；對我的奴僕說：你作這個，他就作。」 |
9For I too am a person subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come here,' and he comes; and to my slave, 'Do this,' and he does it." |
| 10耶穌聽了，非常詫異，就對跟隨的人說：「我實在告訴你們：在以色列我從未遇見過一個人，有這樣大的信心。 |
10When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, "Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith. |
| 11我給你們說：將有許多人從東方和西方來，同亞巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯在天國裏一起坐席； |
11I say to you, many will come from the east and the west, and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the banquet in the kingdom of heaven, |
| 12本國的子民，反要被驅逐到外邊黑暗裏；那裏要有哀號和切齒。」 |
12but the children of the kingdom will be driven out into the outer darkness, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth." |
| 13耶穌遂對百夫長說：「你回去，就照你所信的，給你成就罷！」僕人就在那時刻痊癒了。 |
13And Jesus said to the centurion, "You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you." And at that very hour (his) servant was healed. |
| 14耶穌來到伯多祿家裏，看見伯多祿的岳母躺着發燒， |
14 Jesus entered the house of Peter, and saw his mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. |
| 15就摸了她的手，熱症就從她身上退了。她便起來伺候他。 |
15He touched her hand, the fever left her, and she rose and waited on him. |
| 16到了晚上，人們給他送來了許多附魔的人，他一句話就驅逐了惡神；治好了一切有病的人。 |
16When it was evening, they brought him many who were possessed by demons, and he drove out the spirits by a word and cured all the sick, |
| 17這樣，就應驗了那藉依撒意亞先知所說的話：「他承受我們的脆弱，擔荷了我們的疾病。」 |
17to fulfill what had been said by Isaiah the prophet: "He took away our infirmities and bore our diseases." |
| 18耶穌看見許多群眾圍着自己，就吩咐往對岸去。 |
18 When Jesus saw a crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side. |
| 19有一位經師前來，對他說：「師傅，你不論往那裏去，我要跟隨你。」 |
19A scribe approached and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go." |
| 20耶穌給他說：「狐狸有穴，天上的飛鳥有巢，但是人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」 |
20Jesus answered him, "Foxes have dens and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to rest his head." |
| 21門徒中有一個對他說：「主，請許我先去埋葬我的父親。」 |
21Another of (his) disciples said to him, "Lord, let me go first and bury my father." |
| 22耶穌對他說：「你跟隨我罷！任憑死人去埋葬他們的死人！」 |
22 But Jesus answered him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead." |
| 23耶穌上了船，他的門徒跟隨着他。 |
23 He got into a boat and his disciples followed him. |
| 24忽然海裏起了大震盪，以致那船為浪所掩蓋，耶穌卻睡着了。 |
24Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by waves; but he was asleep. |
| 25他們遂前來喚醒他說：「主！救命啊！我們要喪亡了。」 |
25They came and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!" |
| 26耶穌對他們說：「小信德的人啊！你們為什麼膽怯？」就起來叱責風和海，遂大為平靜。 |
26He said to them, "Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm. |
| 27那些人驚訝說：「這是怎樣的一個人呢？竟連風和海也聽從他！」 |
27The men were amazed and said, "What sort of man is this, whom even the winds and the sea obey?" |
| 28耶穌來到對岸加達辣人的地方，有兩個附魔的人從墳墓裏走出，向他走來；他們異常兇猛，以致沒有人能從那條路上經過。 |
28When he came to the other side, to the territory of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs who were coming from the tombs met him. They were so savage that no one could travel by that road. |
| 29他們喊說：「天主子，我們與你有什麼相干？時期還沒有到，你就來這裏苦害我們嗎？」 |
29They cried out, "What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time?" |
| 30離他們很遠，有一大群豬正在牧放。 |
30Some distance away a herd of many swine was feeding. |
| 31魔鬼懇求耶穌說：「你若驅逐我們，就趕我們進入豬群罷！」 |
31The demons pleaded with him, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of swine." |
| 32耶穌對他們說：「去罷！」魔鬼就出來進入豬內；忽然全群豬從山崖上直衝入海，死在水裏。 |
32And he said to them, "Go then!" They came out and entered the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea where they drowned. |
| 33放豬的便逃走，來到城裏，把這一切和附魔人的事都報告了。 |
33The swineherds ran away, and when they came to the town they reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs. |
| 34全城的人就出來會見耶穌，一見了他，就求他離開他們的境界。 |
34Thereupon the whole town came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him they begged him to leave their district. |
