馬爾谷福音	Mark
¹法利塞人和一些從耶路撒冷來的經師，聚集到耶穌跟前。	¹ Now when the Pharisees with some scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around him,
²他們曾看見他的幾個門徒用不潔的手，就是用沒有洗過的手吃飯──	²they observed that some of his disciples ate their meals with unclean, that is, unwashed, hands.
³原來，法利塞人和所有的猶太人，都拘守先人的傳授：若不仔細洗手，就不吃飯；	³(For the Pharisees and, in fact, all Jews, do not eat without carefully washing their hands, keeping the tradition of the elders.
⁴從街市上回來，若不先沐浴，也不吃飯；還有其他許多按傳授應拘守的事：如洗杯，洗壺，洗銅器等──	⁴And on coming from the marketplace they do not eat without purifying themselves. And there are many other things that they have traditionally observed, the purification of cups and jugs and kettles (and beds).)
⁵法利塞人和經師們就問耶穌說：「你的門徒為什麼不遵守先人的傳授，而用不潔的手吃飯？」	⁵So the Pharisees and scribes questioned him, "Why do your disciples not follow the tradition of the elders but instead eat a meal with unclean hands?"
⁶耶穌對他們說：「依撒意亞論你們這些假善人預言的真好，正如所記載的：『這民族用嘴唇尊敬我，他們的心卻遠離我。	⁶He responded, "Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written: 'This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me;
⁷他們恭敬我，也是虛假的，因為他們所講授的教義，是人的規律。』	⁷In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.'
⁸你們離棄天主的誡命，而只拘守人的傳授。」	⁸You disregard God's commandment but cling to human tradition."
⁹又向他們說：「真好啊！你們為拘守你們的傳授，竟廢除了天主的誡命。	⁹He went on to say, "How well you have set aside the commandment of God in order to uphold your tradition!
¹⁰梅瑟原說過：『你該孝敬你的父親及你的母親』；又說：『咒罵了父親或母親的，應處以死刑』。	¹⁰For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and 'Whoever curses father or mother shall die.'
¹¹你們卻說：人若對父親或母親說：我所能供養你的，已成了『科爾班』，即『獻儀』，	¹¹Yet you say, 'If a person says to father or mother, "Any support you might have had from me is qorban"' (meaning, dedicated to God),
¹²那麼就許那人不必再為父母做什麼了：	¹²you allow him to do nothing more for his father or mother.
¹³這樣你們便為了你們所傳授的遺教，廢棄了天主的話；並且你們還行了許多其他諸如此類的事。」	¹³You nullify the word of God in favor of your tradition that you have handed on. And you do many such things."
¹⁴耶穌又叫過群眾來，對他們說：「你們都要聽我，且要明白！	¹⁴He summoned the crowd again and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand.
¹⁵不是從人外面進入他內的，能污穢人，而是從人裏面出來的，纔污穢人。	¹⁵Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile."
¹⁶凡有耳聽的，聽罷！」	¹⁶)
¹⁷耶穌離開群眾，回到家裏，他的門徒便問他這比喻的意義。	¹⁷ When he got home away from the crowd his disciples questioned him about the parable.
¹⁸耶穌就給他們說：「怎麼，連你們也不明白嗎？你們不曉得：凡從外面進入人內的，不能使人污穢，	¹⁸He said to them, "Are even you likewise without understanding? Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
¹⁹因為進不到他的心，但到他的肚腹內，再排洩到廁所裏去嗎？」──他這是說一切食物都是潔淨的。	¹⁹ since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?" (Thus he declared all foods clean.)
²⁰耶穌又說：「凡從人裏面出來的，那纔使人污穢，	²⁰"But what comes out of a person, that is what defiles.
²¹因為從裏面，從人心裏出來的是些惡念、邪淫、盜竊、兇殺、	²¹From within people, from their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder,
²²姦淫、貪吝、毒辣、詭詐、放蕩、嫉妒、毀謗、驕傲、愚妄：	²²adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly.
²³這一切惡事，都是從內裏出來的，並且使人污穢。」	²³All these evils come from within and they defile."
²⁴耶穌從那裏起身，往提洛和漆冬境內去了。他進了一家，不願任何人知道，但是不能隱藏。	²⁴From that place he went off to the district of Tyre. He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it, but he could not escape notice.
²⁵當下就有一個婦人，她的女兒附了邪魔，一聽說耶穌，就來跪伏在他腳前。	²⁵Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him. She came and fell at his feet.
²⁶這婦人是個外邦人，生於敘利亞腓尼基；她懇求耶穌把魔鬼從她女兒身上趕出去。	²⁶The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
²⁷耶穌向她說：「應先讓兒女們吃飽了，因為拿兒女的餅扔給小狗是不對的。」	²⁷He said to her, "Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs."
²⁸那婦人卻回答說：「主！是啊！可是小狗在桌子底下，也可吃孩子們的碎屑呢！」	²⁸She replied and said to him, "Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children's scraps."
²⁹耶穌對她說：「為了這句話，你去罷！魔鬼已從你女兒身上出去了。」	²⁹Then he said to her, "For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
³⁰她一回到自己的家裏，看見孩子躺在床上，魔鬼已出去了。	³⁰When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.
³¹耶穌又從提洛境內出來，經過漆冬，向着加里肋亞海，到了十城區中心地帶。	³¹Again he left the district of Tyre and went by way of Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, into the district of the Decapolis.
³²有人給他帶來一個又聾又啞的人，求他給他覆手。	³²And people brought to him a deaf man who had a speech impediment and begged him to lay his hand on him.
³³耶穌便領他離開群眾，來到一邊，把手指放進他的耳朵裏，並用唾沫，抹他的舌頭，	³³He took him off by himself away from the crowd. He put his finger into the man's ears and, spitting, touched his tongue;
³⁴然後望天歎息，向他說：「厄法達」就是說：「開了罷！」	³⁴then he looked up to heaven and groaned, and said to him, "Ephphatha!" (that is, "Be opened!")
³⁵他的耳朵就立時開了，舌結也解了，說話也清楚了。	³⁵And (immediately) the man's ears were opened, his speech impediment was removed, and he spoke plainly.
³⁶耶穌遂囑咐他們不要告訴任何人；但他越囑咐他們，他們便越發宣傳；	³⁶ He ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more he ordered them not to, the more they proclaimed it.
³⁷人都不勝驚奇說：「他所做的一切都好：使聾子聽見，叫啞吧說話。」	³⁷They were exceedingly astonished and they said, "He has done all things well. He makes the deaf hear and (the) mute speak."
