| 1「我實實在在告訴你們：凡不由門進入羊棧，而由別處爬進去的，便是賊，是強盜。 |
1 "Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever does not enter a sheepfold through the gate but climbs over elsewhere is a thief and a robber. |
| 2由門進去的，纔是羊的牧人。 |
2But whoever enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. |
| 3看門的給他開門，羊聽他的聲音；他按着名字呼喚自己的羊，並引領出來。 |
3The gatekeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice, as he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. |
| 4當他把羊放出來以後，就走在羊前面，羊也跟隨他，因為認得他的聲音。 |
4 When he has driven out all his own, he walks ahead of them, and the sheep follow him, because they recognize his voice. |
| 5羊決不跟隨陌生人，反而逃避他，因為羊不認得陌生人的聲音。」 |
5But they will not follow a stranger; they will run away from him, because they do not recognize the voice of strangers." |
| 6耶穌給他們講了這個比喻，他們卻不明白給他們所講的是什麼。 |
6Although Jesus used this figure of speech, they did not realize what he was trying to tell them. |
| 7於是耶穌又對他們說：「我實實在在告訴你們：我是羊的門； |
7 So Jesus said again, "Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep. |
| 8凡在我以先來的，都是賊和強盜，羊沒有聽從他們。 |
8 All who came [before me] are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. |
| 9我就是門，誰若經過我進來，必得安全；可以進，可以出，可以找着草場。 |
9I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. |
| 10賊來，無非是為偷竊、殺害、毀滅；我來，卻是為叫他們獲得生命，且獲得更豐富的生命。 |
10A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly. |
| 11我是善牧：善牧為羊捨掉自己的性命。 |
11I am the good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. |
| 12傭工，因不是牧人，羊也不是他自己的，一看見狼來，便棄羊逃跑──狼就抓住羊，把羊趕散了， |
12A hired man, who is not a shepherd and whose sheep are not his own, sees a wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away, and the wolf catches and scatters them. |
| 13因為他是傭工，對羊漠不關心。 |
13This is because he works for pay and has no concern for the sheep. |
| 14我是善牧，我認識我的羊，我的羊也認識我， |
14I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, |
| 15正如父認識我，我也認識父一樣；我並且為羊捨掉我的性命。 |
15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep. |
| 16我還有別的羊，還不屬於這一棧，我也該把他們引來，他們要聽我的聲音，這樣，將只有一個羊群，一個牧人。 |
16I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd. |
| 17父愛我，因為我捨掉我的性命，為再取回它來： |
17This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it up again. |
| 18誰也不能奪去我的性命，而是我甘心情願捨掉它；我有權捨掉它，我也有權再取回它來：這是我由我父所接受的命令。」 |
18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down on my own. I have power to lay it down, and power to take it up again. This command I have received from my Father." |
| 19因了這些話，猶太人中間又發生了紛爭； |
19Again there was a division among the Jews because of these words. |
| 20他們中有許多人說：「他附魔發瘋，為什麼還聽他呢？」 |
20Many of them said, "He is possessed and out of his mind; why listen to him?" |
| 21另有些人說：「這話不是附魔的人所能說的；難道魔鬼能開瞎子的眼睛麼？」 |
21Others said, "These are not the words of one possessed; surely a demon cannot open the eyes of the blind, can he?" |
| 22那時，在耶路撒冷舉行重建節，正是冬天。 |
22The feast of the Dedication was then taking place in Jerusalem. It was winter. |
| 23耶穌徘徊於聖殿內撒羅滿遊廊下。 |
23 And Jesus walked about in the temple area on the Portico of Solomon. |
| 24猶太人圍起他來，向他說：「你使我們的心神懸疑不定，要到幾時呢？你如果是默西亞，就坦白告訴我們罷！」 |
24So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, "How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly." |
| 25耶穌答覆說：「我已告訴了你們，你們卻不相信；我以我父的名所作的工作，為我作證， |
25Jesus answered them, "I told you and you do not believe. The works I do in my Father's name testify to me. |
| 26但你們還是不信，因為你們不是屬於我的羊。 |
26But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep. |
| 27我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟隨我； |
27My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. |
| 28我賜予他們永生，他們永遠不會喪亡；誰也不能從我手中把他們奪去。 |
28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. |
| 29我那賜給我羊群的父，超越一切，為此，誰也不能從我父手裏將他們奪去。 |
29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father's hand. |
| 30我與父原是一體。」 |
30 The Father and I are one." |
| 31猶太人又拿起石頭來，要砸死他。 |
31The Jews again picked up rocks to stone him. |
| 32耶穌向他們說：「我賴我父給你們顯示了許多善事，為了那一件，你們要砸死我呢？」 |
32Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of these are you trying to stone me?" |
| 33猶太人回答說：「為了善事，我們不會砸死你；而是為了褻瀆的話，因為你是人，卻把你自己當作天主。」 |
33The Jews answered him, "We are not stoning you for a good work but for blasphemy. You, a man, are making yourself God." |
| 34耶穌卻向他們說：「在你們的法律上不是記載着：『我說過：你們是神』麼？ |
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods"'? |
| 35如果，那些承受天主話的，天主尚且稱他們為神──而經書是不能廢棄的── |
35If it calls them gods to whom the word of God came, and scripture cannot be set aside, |
| 36那麼，父所祝聖並派遣到世界上來的，因為說過：我是天主子，你們就說：你說褻瀆的話麼？ |
36can you say that the one whom the Father has consecrated and sent into the world blasphemes because I said, 'I am the Son of God'? |
| 37假使我不作我父的工作，你們就不必信我； |
37If I do not perform my Father's works, do not believe me; |
| 38但若是我作了，你們縱然不肯信我，至少要信這些工作，如此你們必定認出父在我內，我在父內。」 |
38but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize (and understand) that the Father is in me and I am in the Father." |
| 39他們又企圖捉拿他，他卻從他們手中走脫了。 |
39(Then) they tried again to arrest him; but he escaped from their power. |
| 40耶穌又到約但河對岸，若翰先前施洗的地方去了，並住在那裏。 |
40He went back across the Jordan to the place where John first baptized, and there he remained. |
| 41有許多人來到他那裏說：「若翰固然沒有行過神蹟，但若翰關於這人所說的一切，都是真的。」 |
41Many came to him and said, "John performed no sign, but everything John said about this man was true." |
| 42許多人就在那裏信了耶穌。 |
42And many there began to believe in him. |
