| 1上主訓示梅瑟說： |
1The LORD said to Moses, |
| 2「你告訴亞郎和他的兒子以及全體以色列子民說：上主這樣吩咐說： |
2"Speak to Aaron and his sons, as well as to all the Israelites, and tell them: This is what the LORD has commanded. |
| 3以色列家中任何人，在營內或在營外，宰殺牛或綿羊或山羊， |
3 Any Israelite who slaughters an ox or a sheep or a goat, whether in the camp or outside of it, |
| 4而不牽到會幕門口，在上主的住所前，奉獻給上主作祭品，這人就應負流血的罪債；他既使血流出，就應由民間剷除。 |
4without first bringing it to the entrance of the meeting tent to present it as an offering to the LORD in front of his Dwelling, shall be judged guilty of bloodshed; and for this, such a man shall be cut off from among his people. |
| 5為此，以色列子民應將他們平素在野外宰殺的犧牲，牽到上主前，在會幕門口交與司祭宰殺這些犧牲，獻給上主作和平祭。 |
5Therefore, such sacrifices as they used to offer up in the open field the Israelites shall henceforth offer to the LORD, bringing them to the priest at the entrance of the meeting tent and sacrificing them there as peace offerings to the LORD. |
| 6司祭將牲血灑在會幕門口上主的祭壇上，焚燒脂肪，化為中悅上主的馨香。 |
6The priest shall splash the blood on the altar of the LORD at the entrance of the meeting tent and there burn the fat for an odor pleasing to the LORD. |
| 7從此以後，他們不應再宰殺犧牲，獻給他們非法敬拜的一些山羊神：這為他們世世代代是一項永久的法令。 |
7No longer shall they offer their sacrifices to the satyrs to whom they used to render their wanton worship. This shall be an everlasting ordinance for them and their descendants. |
| 8此外，你應吩咐他們說：以色列家及僑居在他們中間的外方人，誰若願意獻全燔祭或祭獻， |
8"Tell them, therefore: Anyone, whether of the house of Israel or of the aliens residing among them, who offers a holocaust or sacrifice |
| 9而不牽到會幕門口，奉獻給上主，這人就應由民間剷除。 |
9without bringing it to the entrance of the meeting tent to offer it to the LORD, shall be cut off from his kinsmen. |
| 10以色列家及僑居在他們中間的外方人，有人吃了什麼血，我必怒容而視，與這吃血的人作對，由民間將他剷除。 |
10And if anyone, whether of the house of Israel or of the aliens residing among them, partakes of any blood, I will set myself against that one who partakes of blood and will cut him off from among his people. |
| 11因為肉軀的生命是在血內，我為你們指定了血，在祭壇上為你們的生命贖罪，因為血具有生命，故能贖罪。 |
11 Since the life of a living body is in its blood, I have made you put it on the altar, so that atonement may thereby be made for your own lives, because it is the blood, as the seat of life, that makes atonement. |
| 12為此，我吩咐以色列子民說：你們中任何人都不可吃血；僑居在你們中間的外方人，也不可吃血。 |
12That is why I have told the Israelites: No one among you, not even a resident alien, may partake of blood. |
| 13以色列子民和僑居在他們中間的外方人，誰若獵取了可食的野獸或飛禽，該放盡牠的血，用泥土蓋上。 |
13"Anyone hunting, whether of the Israelites or of the aliens residing among them, who catches an animal or a bird that may be eaten, shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth. |
| 14因為一切肉軀的生命都繫於血，為此，我吩咐以色列子民說：任何肉上的血，你們都不可吃，因為一切肉軀的生命，都繫於血；誰吃了，應被剷除。 |
14Since the life of every living body is its blood, I have told the Israelites: You shall not partake of the blood of any meat. Since the life of every living body is its blood, anyone who partakes of it shall be cut off. |
| 15不論是本地人或是外方人，吃了自死或被猛獸撕裂的禽獸，應洗自己的衣服，用水洗澡，直到晚上是不潔的；以後他才潔淨。 |
15"Everyone, whether a native or an alien, who eats of an animal that died of itself or was killed by a wild beast, shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening, and then he will be clean. |
| 16但是，如果他不洗衣，也不洗身，應負罪債。」 |
16If he does not wash or does not bathe his body, he shall have the guilt to bear." |
