| 1上主訓示梅瑟說： |
1The LORD said to Moses, |
| 2「你告訴以色列子民說：我，上主是你們的天主。 |
2"Speak to the Israelites and tell them: I, the LORD, am your God. |
| 3你們不要仿效你們住過的埃及地的習慣，也不要仿效我正要領你們去的客納罕地的習慣，不要隨從他們的風俗； |
3You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you once lived, nor shall you do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you; do not conform to their customs. |
| 4應執行我的規定，遵守我的法令，依照遵行：我，上主是你們的天主。 |
4My decrees you shall carry out, and my statutes you shall take care to follow. I, the LORD, am your God. |
| 5你們應遵守我的法令和規定；遵守的人必因此獲得生命：我是上主。 |
5Keep, then, my statutes and decrees, for the man who carries them out will find life through them. I am the LORD. |
| 6你們中任何人不可親近任何血親，去揭露她的下體：我是上主。 |
6 "None of you shall approach a close relative to have sexual intercourse with her. I am the LORD. |
| 7你不可揭露你父親的下體和你母親的下體：她是你的母親，不可揭露她的下體。 |
7You shall not disgrace your father by having intercourse with your mother. Besides, since she is your own mother, you shall not have intercourse with her. |
| 8你父親妻子的下體，你不可揭露，那是你父親的下體。 |
8You shall not have intercourse with your father's wife, for that would be a disgrace to your father. |
| 9你姊妹的下體，不論她是你父親的女兒，或你母親的女兒，或在家生的，或在外生的，你不可揭露她們的下體。 |
9You shall not have intercourse with your sister, your father's daughter or your mother's daughter, whether she was born in your own household or born elsewhere. |
| 10你兒子的女兒，或你女兒的女兒的下體，你不可揭露，因為她們的下體是你的下體。 |
10You shall not have intercourse with your son's daughter or with your daughter's daughter, for that would be a disgrace to your own family. |
| 11你不可揭露你父親妻子的女兒的下體，因為她是你父親所生的，是你的姊妹，你不可揭露她的下體。 |
11You shall not have intercourse with the daughter whom your father's wife bore to him, since she, too, is your sister. |
| 12你父親姊妹的下體，你不可揭露，因為她是你父親的骨肉。 |
12You shall not have intercourse with your father's sister, since she is your father's relative. |
| 13你母親姊妹的下體，你不可揭露，因為她是你母親的骨肉。 |
13You shall not have intercourse with your mother's sister, since she is your mother's relative. |
| 14你父親兄弟的下體，你不可揭露，也不可親近他的妻子；她是你的叔伯母。 |
14You shall not disgrace your father's brother by being intimate with his wife, since she, too, is your aunt. |
| 15你兒媳的下體，你不可揭露。她是你兒子的妻子，你不可揭露她的下體。 |
15You shall not have intercourse with your daughter-in-law; she is your son's wife, and therefore you shall not disgrace her. |
| 16你兄弟妻子的下體，你不可揭露；那是你兄弟的下體。 |
16 You shall not have intercourse with your brother's wife, for that would be a disgrace to your brother. |
| 17你不可揭露了一女人的下體又揭露她女兒的；不可娶她兒子的女兒，或她女兒的女兒，揭露她的下體，她們都是她的血親：這是醜行。 |
17You shall not have intercourse with a woman and also with her daughter, nor shall you marry and have intercourse with her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter; this would be shameful, because they are related to her. |
| 18你不可娶一女人又娶她的姊妹，做她的情敵，在她活着的時候，揭露她姊妹的下體。 |
18While your wife is still living you shall not marry her sister as her rival; for thus you would disgrace your first wife. |
| 19女人在月經不潔期中，你不可接近，揭露她的下體。 |
19"You shall not approach a woman to have intercourse with her while she is unclean from menstruation. |
| 20你近人的妻子你不可與她同寢，為她所玷污。 |
20You shall not have carnal relations with your neighbor's wife, defiling yourself with her. |
| 21你不可使你任何一個子女經火祭獻給摩肋客，亦不可褻瀆你天主的名：我是上主。 |
21 You shall not offer any of your offspring to be immolated to Molech, thus profaning the name of your God. I am the LORD. |
| 22你不可與男人同寢，如同與女人同寢一樣：這是醜惡行為。 |
22You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination. |
| 23你不可與任何獸類同寢，為牠所淫污；女人亦不可委身與走獸，同牠交合：這是逆性邪惡。 |
23You shall not have carnal relations with an animal, defiling yourself with it; nor shall a woman set herself in front of an animal to mate with it; such things are abhorrent. |
| 24你們不可以任何這樣的事玷污自己，因為這些民族以這一切事玷污了自己，我正要由你們面前將他們驅逐； |
24"Do not defile yourselves by any of these things by which the nations whom I am driving out of your way have defiled themselves. |
| 25甚至連這地也玷污了，所以我必追究這地上的罪惡，使這地吐棄地上的居民。 |
25Because their land has become defiled, I am punishing it for its wickedness, by making it vomit out its inhabitants. |
| 26至於你們，應遵守我的法令和規定；不論是本地人，或是寄居在你們中間的外方人，這樣醜惡的事，一件也不許做， |
26You, however, whether natives or resident aliens, must keep my statutes and decrees forbidding all such abominations |
| 27因為在你們以前住在這地上的人，做過這一切醜惡的事，玷污了這地方。 |
27by which the previous inhabitants defiled the land; |
| 28希望這地不因你們而再受到玷污，將你們吐棄，如同吐棄了你們以前的民族。 |
28otherwise the land will vomit you out also for having defiled it, just as it vomited out the nations before you. |
| 29因為，凡做任何一件這樣醜惡的事的，這樣的人，都應由民間剷除。 |
29Everyone who does any of these abominations shall be cut off from among his people. |
| 30所以你們應遵守我的禁令，不可仿效你們以前的人所有的醜惡風俗，免得因此受到玷污：我，上主是你們的天主。」 |
30Heed my charge, then, not to defile yourselves by observing the abominable customs that have been observed before you. I, the LORD, am your God." |
