Philippians |
| 1此外，我的弟兄們！你們應喜樂於主；給你們寫一樣的事，為我並不煩難，為你們卻是安全。 |
1Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. Writing the same things to you is no burden for me but is a safeguard for you. |
| 2你們要提防狗，要提防邪惡的工人，要提防自行割切的人。 |
2 Beware of the dogs! Beware of the evil workers! Beware of the mutilation! |
| 3其實，真受割損的人是我們，因為我們是以天主的聖神實行敬禮，在耶穌基督內自豪，而不信賴外表的人， |
3For we are the circumcision, we who worship through the Spirit of God, who boast in Christ Jesus and do not put our confidence in flesh, |
| 4雖然我對外表也有可信賴的。如果有人以為自己能將信賴放在外表上，那我更可以： |
4although I myself have grounds for confidence even in the flesh.If anyone else thinks he can be confident in flesh, all the more can I. |
| 5我生後第八天受了割損，出於以色列民族，屬於本雅明支派，是由希伯來人所生的希伯來人；就法律說，我是法利塞人； |
5Circumcised on the eighth day, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrew parentage, in observance of the law a Pharisee, |
| 6就熱忱說，我曾迫害過教會；就法律的正義說，是無瑕可指的。 |
6in zeal I persecuted the church, in righteousness based on the law I was blameless. |
| 7凡以前對我有利益的事，我如今為了基督，都看作是損失。 |
7(But) whatever gains I had, these I have come to consider a loss because of Christ. |
| 8不但如此，而且我將一切都看作損失，因為我只以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶；為了他，我自願損失一切，拿一切當廢物，為賺得基督， |
8More than that, I even consider everything as a loss because of the supreme good of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have accepted the loss of all things and I consider them so much rubbish, that I may gain Christ |
| 9為結合於他，並非藉我因守法律獲得的正義，而是藉由於信仰基督獲得的正義，即出於天主而本於信德的正義。 |
9and be found in him, not having any righteousness of my own based on the law but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God, depending on faith |
| 10我只願認識基督和他復活的德能，參與他的苦難，相似他的死， |
10to know him and the power of his resurrection and (the) sharing of his sufferings by being conformed to his death, |
| 11我希望也得到由死者中的復活。 |
11if somehow I may attain the resurrection from the dead. |
| 12這並不是說：我已經達到這目標，或已成為成全的人；我只顧向前跑，看看是否我也能夠奪得，因為基督耶穌已奪得了我。 |
12 It is not that I have already taken hold of it or have already attained perfect maturity, but I continue my pursuit in hope that I may possess it, since I have indeed been taken possession of by Christ (Jesus). |
| 13弟兄們！我並不以為我已經奪得，我只顧一件事：即忘盡我背後的，只向在我前面的奔馳， |
13Brothers, I for my part do not consider myself to have taken possession. Just one thing: forgetting what lies behind but straining forward to what lies ahead, |
| 14為達到目標，為爭取天主在基督耶穌內召我向上爭奪的獎品。 |
14I continue my pursuit toward the goal, the prize of God's upward calling, in Christ Jesus. |
| 15所以，我們凡是成熟的人，都應懷有這種心情；即使你們另有別種心情，天主也要將這種心情啟示給你們。 |
15Let us, then, who are "perfectly mature" adopt this attitude. And if you have a different attitude, this too God will reveal to you. |
| 16但是，不拘我們已達到什麼程度，仍應照樣進行。 |
16Only, with regard to what we have attained, continue on the same course. |
| 17弟兄們！你們要一同效法我，也要注意那些按我們的表樣生活行動的人， |
17 Join with others in being imitators of me, brothers, and observe those who thus conduct themselves according to the model you have in us. |
| 18因為有許多人，我曾多次對你們說過，如今再含淚對你們說：他們行事為人，是基督十字架的敵人； |
18For many, as I have often told you and now tell you even in tears, conduct themselves as enemies of the cross of Christ. |
| 19他們的結局是喪亡，他們的天主是肚腹，以羞辱為光榮，只思念地上的事。 |
19Their end is destruction. Their God is their stomach; their glory is in their "shame." Their minds are occupied with earthly things. |
| 20至於我們，我們的家鄉原是在天上，我們等待主耶穌基督我們的救主從那裏降來， |
20But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we also await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. |
| 21他必要按他能使一切屈服於自己的大能，改變我們卑賤的身體，相似他光榮的身體。 |
21He will change our lowly body to conform with his glorified body by the power that enables him also to bring all things into subjection to himself. |
