Philemon |
| 1基督耶穌的被囚者保祿，和弟茂德弟兄，致書給我們可愛的合作者費肋孟， |
1 Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our beloved and our co-worker, |
| 2並給姊妹阿丕雅，和我們的戰友阿爾希頗，以及在你家中的教會。 |
2to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church at your house. |
| 3願恩寵與平安，由天主我們的父及主耶穌基督賜與你們！ |
3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. |
| 4在我的祈禱中記念你時，我常感謝我的天主， |
4 I give thanks to my God always, remembering you in my prayers, |
| 5因為，聽說你對主耶穌，和對眾聖徒所表現的愛德與信德。 |
5as I hear of the love and the faith you have in the Lord Jesus and for all the holy ones, |
| 6我祈求天主，為使你因信德而懷有的慷慨發生功效，使你認清我們所能行的一切善事，都是為基督而行的。 |
6so that your partnership in the faith may become effective in recognizing every good there is in us that leads to Christ. |
| 7弟兄，我由於你的愛德，確實獲得了極大的喜樂和安慰，因為藉着你，聖徒們的心都舒暢了。 |
7For I have experienced much joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the holy ones have been refreshed by you, brother. |
| 8為此，我雖然在基督內，能放心大膽地命你去作這件該作的事， |
8Therefore, although I have the full right in Christ to order you to do what is proper, |
| 9可是，我這年老的保祿，如今且為基督耶穌作囚犯的，寧願因着愛德求你， |
9I rather urge you out of love, being as I am, Paul, an old man, and now also a prisoner for Christ Jesus. |
| 10就是為我在鎖鏈中所生的兒子敖乃息摩來求你。 |
10I urge you on behalf of my child Onesimus, whose father I have become in my imprisonment, |
| 11他曾一度為你是無用的，可是，如今為你為我都有用了； |
11who was once useless to you but is now useful to (both) you and me. |
| 12我現今把他給你打發回去，【你收下】他，他是我的心肝。 |
12I am sending him, that is, my own heart, back to you. |
| 13我本來願意將他留在我這裏，叫他替你服侍我這為福音而被囚的人， |
13I should have liked to retain him for myself, so that he might serve me on your behalf in my imprisonment for the gospel, |
| 14可是沒有你的同意，我什麼也不願意做，好叫你所行的善不是出於勉強，而是出於甘心。 |
14but I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that the good you do might not be forced but voluntary. |
| 15也許他暫時離開了你，是為叫你永遠收下他， |
15Perhaps this is why he was away from you for a while, that you might have him back forever, |
| 16不再當一個奴隸，而是超過奴隸，作可愛的弟兄：他為我特別可愛，但為你不拘是論肉身方面，或是論主方面，更加可愛。 |
16no longer as a slave but more than a slave, a brother, beloved especially to me, but even more so to you, as a man and in the Lord. |
| 17所以，若你以我為同志，就收留他當作收留我罷！ |
17So if you regard me as a partner, welcome him as you would me. |
| 18他若虧負了你或欠下你什麼，就算在我的賬上罷！ |
18 And if he has done you any injustice or owes you anything, charge it to me. |
| 19我保祿親手簽字：「我必要償還。」至於你，你所欠於我的，竟是你本身；這我就不必對你說了！ |
19I, Paul, write this in my own hand: I will pay. May I not tell you that you owe me your very self. |
| 20弟兄！望你使我在主內得此恩惠，並在基督內使我的心舒暢！ |
20Yes, brother, may I profit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ. |
| 21我自信你必聽從，纔給你寫了這信；我知道，就是超過我所說的，你也必作。 |
21With trust in your compliance I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say. |
| 22同時，也請你給我準備一個住處，因為我希望因你們的祈禱，主必要把我賜與你們。 |
22At the same time prepare a guest room for me, for I hope to be granted to you through your prayers. |
| 23為基督耶穌與我一同被囚的厄帕夫辣、 |
23Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you, |
| 24我的合作者馬爾谷、阿黎斯塔苛、德瑪斯、路加都問候你。 |
24as well as Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my co-workers. |
| 25願主耶穌基督的恩寵，與你們的心靈同在！阿們。 |
25The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. |
