| 1當你進入上主你的天主賜給你作產業的土地，佔領後住在那裏時， |
1"When you have come into the land which the LORD, your God, is giving you as a heritage, and have occupied it and settled in it, |
| 2應由上主你的天主賜給你的土地上，將一切田產的初熟之物，取出一部分放在筐裏，往上主你的天主選定立自己名號的地方去， |
2you shall take some first fruits of the various products of the soil which you harvest from the land which the LORD, your God, gives you, and putting them in a basket, you shall go to the place which the LORD, your God, chooses for the dwelling place of his name. |
| 3到當時供職的司祭前，對他說：『我今日向上主我的天主明認，我已來到了上主對我們的祖先誓許賜與我們的地方。』 |
3There you shall go to the priest in office at that time and say to him, 'Today I acknowledge to the LORD, my God, that I have indeed come into the land which he swore to our fathers he would give us.' |
| 4司祭就由你手中接過筐子，放在上主你的天主的祭壇前； |
4The priest shall then receive the basket from you and shall set it in front of the altar of the LORD, your God. |
| 5然後你就在上主你的天主面前聲明說：『我的祖先原是個飄泊的阿蘭人，下到埃及，同少數的家人寄居在那裏，竟成了一強大有力，人口眾多的民族。 |
5 Then you shall declare before the LORD, your God, 'My father was a wandering Aramean who went down to Egypt with a small household and lived there as an alien. But there he became a nation great, strong and numerous. |
| 6埃及虐待我們，壓迫我們，勒令我們做苦工。 |
6When the Egyptians maltreated and oppressed us, imposing hard labor upon us, |
| 7我們向上主我們祖先的天主呼號，上主俯聽了我們的哀聲，垂視了我們的苦痛、勞役和所受的壓迫。 |
7we cried to the LORD, the God of our fathers, and he heard our cry and saw our affliction, our toil and our oppression. |
| 8上主以強力的手，伸展的臂，巨大的恐嚇，神蹟奇事，領我們出了埃及， |
8He brought us out of Egypt with his strong hand and outstretched arm, with terrifying power, with signs and wonders; |
| 9來到這地方，將這流奶流蜜的土地賜給了我們。 |
9and bringing us into this country, he gave us this land flowing with milk and honey. |
| 10上主，請看！我現今帶來了你賜給我的田地裏所出產的初熟之物。』遂將這初熟之物放在上主你的天主面前，俯伏朝拜上主你的天主。 |
10Therefore, I have now brought you the first fruits of the products of the soil which you, O LORD, have given me.' And having set them before the LORD, your God, you shall bow down in his presence. |
| 11然後你與肋未人，和住在你中間的外方人，歡樂享受上主你的天主賜與你和你家庭的一切福分。 |
11Then you and your family, together with the Levite and the aliens who live among you, shall make merry over all these good things which the LORD, your God, has given you. |
| 12在第三年，即獻什一之年，當你把你一切出產十分之一，完全取出，分給肋未人、外方人、孤兒和寡婦，並使他們在你的城鎮中吃飽之後， |
12 "When you have finished setting aside all the tithes of your produce in the third year, the year of the tithes, and you have given them to the Levite, the alien, the orphan and the widow, that they may eat their fill in your own community, |
| 13你應到上主你的天主面前說：『我由我家中完全交出了這祝聖的一份，分給了肋未人、外方人、孤兒和寡婦，全照你吩咐我的命令；我沒有違犯你的命令，也沒有忽略。 |
13you shall declare before the LORD, your God, 'I have purged my house of the sacred portion and I have given it to the Levite, the alien, the orphan and the widow, just as you have commanded me. In this I have not broken or forgotten any of your commandments: |
| 14這些聖物，在我居喪時，我沒有取食；在不潔中，我沒有交出，更沒有獻給死人；我聽從了上主我的天主的話，全照你吩咐我的一切履行了。 |
14 I have not eaten any of the tithe as a mourner; I have not brought any of it out as one unclean; I have not offered any of it to the dead. I have thus hearkened to the voice of the LORD, my God, doing just as you have commanded me. |
| 15願你由你神聖的住所，由天上俯視，祝福你的人民以色列，和你賜給我們的土地，即你向我們祖先所誓許的那流奶流蜜的地方。』 |
15Look down, then, from heaven, your holy abode, and bless your people Israel and the soil you have given us in the land flowing with milk and honey which you promised on oath to our fathers.' |
| 16上主你的天主今天吩咐你遵行這些法令和規則，你應全心全靈謹守遵行。 |
16"This day the LORD, your God, commands you to observe these statutes and decrees. Be careful, then, to observe them with all your heart and with all your soul. |
| 17今天你明認上主是你的天主，願履行他的道路，謹守他的法令、誡命和規則，聽從他的話。 |
17Today you are making this agreement with the LORD: he is to be your God and you are to walk in his ways and observe his statutes, commandments and decrees, and to hearken to his voice. |
| 18上主今天也照他對你所說的，明認你為他特屬的人民，只要你謹守他的一切誡命， |
18And today the LORD is making this agreement with you: you are to be a people peculiarly his own, as he promised you; and provided you keep all his commandments, |
| 19並且他要使你在名譽、聲望和光榮上，遠超過他所造的一切民族，使你如他所說的，成為屬於上主你的天主的聖潔人民。」 |
19he will then raise you high in praise and renown and glory above all other nations he has made, and you will be a people sacred to the LORD, your God, as he promised." |
