| 1這些事以後，我看見天上有一個門開了，並且有我初次聽見，那同我說話像似號角的聲音，說：「你上到這裏來，我要指示給你，這些事以後必須要發生的事。」 |
1 After this I had a vision of an open door to heaven, and I heard the trumpetlike voice that had spoken to me before, saying, "Come up here and I will show you what must happen afterwards." |
| 2我立刻神魂超拔了。看，在天上安置了一個寶座，有一位坐在那寶座上的。 |
2 At once I was caught up in spirit. A throne was there in heaven, and on the throne sat |
| 3那位坐着的，看來好似水蒼玉和紅瑪瑙；圍繞寶座的虹霓，看來好似翡翠。 |
3one whose appearance sparkled like jasper and carnelian. Around the throne was a halo as brilliant as an emerald. |
| 4寶座周圍還有二十四個寶座，寶座上坐着二十四位長老：身穿白衣頭戴金冠。 |
4Surrounding the throne I saw twenty-four other thrones on which twenty-four elders sat, dressed in white garments and with gold crowns on their heads. |
| 5有閃電、響聲和雷霆從那寶座發出來；在寶座前還燃着七個火炬，那就是天主的七神。 |
5From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. Seven flaming torches burned in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. |
| 6寶座前面有如玻璃海，彷彿水晶；在寶座每一面當中，在寶座周圍，有四個活物，前後都滿了眼睛： |
6In front of the throne was something that resembled a sea of glass like crystal. In the center and around the throne, there were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back. |
| 7第一個活物像獅子，第二個活物像牛犢，第三個活物面貌像人，第四個活物像飛鷹。 |
7The first creature resembled a lion, the second was like a calf, the third had a face like that of a human being, and the fourth looked like an eagle in flight. |
| 8那四個活物，個個都有六個翅膀，周圍內外都滿了眼睛，日夜不停地說：「聖！聖！聖！上主，全能的天主，是昔在、今在及將來永在者。」 |
8The four living creatures, each of them with six wings, were covered with eyes inside and out. Day and night they do not stop exclaiming: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come." |
| 9每逢那些活物將光榮、尊威和頌謝歸於那坐在寶座上的，萬世萬代的永生者時， |
9Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, |
| 10二十四位長老就俯伏在坐於寶座的那位前，朝拜那萬世萬代的永生者，且把他們的榮冠投在寶座前說： |
10the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever. They throw down their crowns before the throne, exclaiming: |
| 11「上主，我們的天主！你是堪受光榮、尊威和權能的，因為你創造了萬物，萬物都是因了你的旨意而存在，而造成的。」 |
11"Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created." |
