¹那时，有上主的话传於哈纳尼的儿子耶胡，斥责巴厄沙说：	¹Yahweh spoke to Jehu, son of Hanani, to condemn Baasha. He said,
²「我由尘埃中提拔了你，立你做我民以色列的领袖，你却走了雅洛贝罕的路，使我民以色列犯罪，激怒我；	²"I have raised you from the dust to make you rule over my people Israel, but you have made me angry by going the way of Jeroboam and dragging my people Israel into sin.
³现在，我要扫除巴厄沙和他的家族，使他的家如同乃巴特的儿子雅洛贝罕的一家一样；	³I will therefore sweep away Baasha and his family and deal with them as I did with Jeroboam, son of Nebat.
⁴凡属巴厄沙家的人，死在城中的，必为狗吞食，死在田野间的，必为空中的飞鸟啄食。」	⁴Dogs will devour those of Baasha's line who die in the City, the birds of the air will feed on those who die in the country."
⁵巴厄沙其余的事蹟，他所行的事和他的功绩，都记载在《以色列列王实录》上。	⁵The rest of the events of Baasha's reign, his deeds and achievements are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
⁶巴厄沙与列祖同眠，葬在提尔匝；他的儿子厄拉继位为王。	⁶Baasha rested with his fathers and was buried at Tirzah, while Elah his son reigned in his place.
⁷上主藉哈纳尼的儿子，先知耶胡传话斥责巴厄沙和他的家族，是因为他行了许多上主眼中视为恶的事，以自己的作为激怒了上主，如同雅洛贝罕的家一样；又因为他杀了雅洛贝罕全家。	⁷Yahweh indeed spoke through the prophet Jehu, son of Hanani, to condemn Baasha and his family, not only for doing what displeased Yahweh, making him angry as Jeroboam had done, but also because he murdered the family of Jeroboam.
⁸犹大王阿撒二十六年，巴厄沙的儿子厄拉在提尔匝登极作以色列王，在位凡二年。	⁸In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah, Elah, son of Baasha, began to reign over Israel in Tirzah and was king for two years.
⁹他的臣仆，即率领他半数战车的队长，齐默黎结党背叛了他。当他在提尔匝，他的家宰阿尔匝家喝醉酒时，	⁹But his servant Zimri, commander of half his chariots, plotted against him. While Elah was getting himself drunk in the house of Arza, governor of Tirzah,
¹⁰齐默黎冲入，击杀了他，篡夺了他的王位，时在犹大王阿撒二十七年。	¹⁰Zimri came in, struck him down and killed him. This happened in the twenty-seventh year of Asa, king of Judah. Then Zimri reigned in his place.
¹¹齐默黎一登极，立刻屠杀了巴厄沙全家，没有给他留下一个男子，连他的亲属朋友都杀了。	¹¹As soon as Zimri began to reign, he had the entire family of Baasha killed, leaving him not a single male relative or friend.
¹²齐默黎这样毁灭了巴厄沙全家，应验了上主藉先知耶胡斥责巴厄沙所说的话。	¹²Zimri wiped out the entire house of Baasha according to Yahweh's pronouncement against him as spoken by Jehu, the prophet.
¹³这是因为巴厄沙和他的儿子厄拉所犯的一切罪，即引以色列陷於罪恶的罪，因他们制造了虚无偶像，激怒了上主，以色列的天主。	¹³And this happened because of the sins which Baasha and his son had committed, dragging Israel into sin and making Yahweh angry with their idols.
¹⁴厄拉其余的事蹟，他的一切作为，都记载在《以色列列王实录》上。	¹⁴Now the rest of the events of Elah's reign and all his deeds are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
¹⁵犹大王阿撒二十七年，齐默黎在提尔匝作王仅七天。当时人民正在围攻培肋舍特人的基贝通，	¹⁵It happened in the twenty-seventh year of Asa, king of Judah, that Zimri reigned seven days in Tirzah.
¹⁶消息传到营中说：齐默黎已经叛变，击杀了君王，全以色列人当天即在营中，选立了军长敖默黎作以色列王。	¹⁶For the army was besieging Gibbethon of the Philistines when Zimri plotted against Elah, and, on hearing that he had killed the king, they proclaimed Omri, commander of the army, king of Israel.
¹⁷敖默黎和与他在一起的全以色列人，从基贝通上去围攻提尔匝。	¹⁷Omri went up with the Israelites from Gibbethon and attacked Tirzah.
¹⁸齐默黎一见城已失陷，即走进王宫的城堡，纵火焚烧王宫，自焚而死。	¹⁸When Zimri saw that the city was to be captured, he went into the citadel of the royal palace; he set the royal palace on fire, and he died.
¹⁹这是因为他所犯的罪恶，行了上主视为恶的事，走了雅洛贝罕的路，并以自己所犯的罪，使以色列陷於罪恶。	¹⁹He died thus because of the sins he had committed, doing what displeased Yahweh and going the way of Jeroboam by dragging Israel into sin.
²⁰齐默黎其余的事迹，暗杀叛变的事，都记载在《以色列列王实录》上。	²⁰The rest of the acts of Zimri and his plot are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
²¹那时，以色列人民分裂为二：一半跟随基纳特的儿子提贝尼，要立他为王；一半跟随敖默黎。	²¹The Israelites were then divided; half of them followed Tibni, son of Ginath to make him king; the other half followed Omri.
²²跟随敖默黎的人胜过了跟随基纳特的儿子提贝尼的人；提贝尼死后，敖默黎便作了王。	²²Those who followed Omri overcame those who followed Tibni, son of Ginath. And so, Tibni died and Omri became king.
²³犹大王阿撒三十一年，敖默黎登极作以色列王，在位凡十二年，其中六年在提尔匝。	²³In the thirty-first year of Asa, king of Judah, Omri began to reign over Israel. He reigned for twelve years, six years of which he reigned in Tirzah.
²⁴敖默黎用两「塔冷通」银子，由舍默尔手中买下了芍默龙山。他修建了这座山，依照山的原主舍默尔的名字，给他所建筑的城起名叫「撒玛黎雅。」	²⁴Then he bought the hill of Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver. He built a city on the hill and called it Samaria, after Shemer, the owner of the hill.
²⁵敖默黎行了上主视为恶的事，甚至比他以前的人更为邪恶。	²⁵Omri did what displeased Yahweh, even more than all those who preceded him.
²⁶事事仿效乃巴特的儿子雅洛贝罕所走的路，犯了使以色列陷於罪恶的罪，又敬拜邪神偶像，激怒上主，以色列的天主。	²⁶He went the way of Jeroboam, son of Nebat, and dragged Israel into sin, thereby provoking the anger of Yahweh, the God of Israel, by their idols.
²⁷敖默黎其余的事蹟，他的作为和功蹟，都记载在《以色列列王实录》上。	²⁷The rest of the acts of Omri and his bravery are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
²⁸敖默黎与列祖同眠，葬在撒玛黎雅；他的儿子阿哈布继位为王。	²⁸Then Omri rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria while Ahab, his son, reigned in his place.
²⁹犹大王阿撒三十八年，敖默黎的儿子阿哈布登极作以色列王。敖默黎的儿子阿哈布在撒玛黎雅作以色列王，凡二十二年。	²⁹Ahab, son of Omri became king in the thirty-eighth year of Asa, king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel in Samaria for twenty-two years.
³⁰敖默黎的儿子阿哈布行了上主视为恶的事，甚於他以前的人。	³⁰Ahab, son of Omri did what displeased Yahweh, even more than all those who preceded him.
³¹他走了乃巴特的儿子雅洛贝罕犯罪的路，尚以为是小事，又娶了漆冬王厄特巴耳的女儿依则贝耳为妻，亲自去服事敬拜巴耳，	³¹Apparently the example and the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat were not enough for him; he even married Jezebel, daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians. So he served Baal and worshiped him.
³²在撒玛黎雅为巴耳建筑了一座庙宇，庙内为巴耳设立了一座祭坛。	³²He set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal which he built in Samaria
³³阿哈布又立了阿舍辣；阿哈布行事激怒上主，以色列的天主，尤甚於他以前的以色列王。	³³and proceeded to make an Asherah. So Ahab did everything that could make Yahweh angry, even more than any of the kings of Israel who ruled before him.
³⁴他在位的时候，贝特耳人希耳重建了耶里哥；奠基的时候，死了长子阿彼兰；安门的时候，死了幼子色古布：这正应验了上主藉农的儿子若苏厄所说的话。	³⁴During his reign, Hiel of Bethel rebuilt Jericho. On laying its foundation he sacrificed Abirma, his firstborn. And when he set up the gates of the city, he sacrificed his youngest son, Segub, in accordance with the word of Yahweh spoken through Joshua, son of Nun.
