¹此后，撒罗满为自己建造宫室，十三年方才完成。	¹Solomon took thirteen years to build his own palace.
²他建造的，有黎巴嫩林宫，长一百肘，宽五十肘，高三十肘；有三行香柏木柱子，柱子上端有香柏木托梁。	²He built the House of the Forest of Lebanon which measured one hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high. It was built on three rows of cedar pillars with cedar beams on the pillars.
³上面盖上香柏木板；每行十五根柱子，共有四十五根。	³It had a cedar ceiling above the beams that were on the forty-five pillars, fifteen in each row.
⁴窗户有三排，三排窗户彼此相对。	⁴There were three window frames at either end, each window corresponding to another opposite it.
⁵门和窗户都是方形；三层窗户都彼此相对。	⁵All the doorways and windows had square frames and each window corresponded to the one opposite it.
⁶又造了有圆柱的大厅，长五十肘，宽三十肘；大厅前面另有一个廊子，廊子前面有柱子和顶盖。	⁶The Hall of Pillars measured fifty cubits long and thirty cubits wide. It had a porch in front with pillars and a canopy over them.
⁷他又造了一厅，中间设有审判的座位，在那里审案；从地面到梁，都是用香柏木舖盖的。	⁷The Hall of the Throne where Solomon was to pronounce judgment, that is, the Hall of Judgment, was finished with cedar from floor to rafters.
⁸厅后的另一院内，有君王住的宫室，建筑式样，完全与审判厅相同；为君王所娶的法郎公主，也建造了与审判厅相同的宫室。	⁸His own house, where he was to live, and which was in the other court behind the hall, was built in like manner. Solomon also made a house similar to this for Pharaoh's daughter whom he had taken in marriage.
⁹从外院直到大院的这一切建筑，从地基到屋顶，都是用按尺寸凿好，用锯内外锯平的宝贵石头建造的。	⁹All these were made of costly stones, hewn according to measure, sawn on their inner and outer faces even from the foundation to the coping, and from the court of Yahweh's House to the big court.
¹⁰地基也都是用贵重巨大的石头砌成的，有的十肘长，有的八肘长；	¹⁰The foundation was of huge, costly stones of eighty and ten cubits.
¹¹上面有按尺寸凿好的贵重石头和香柏木。	¹¹Above were costly stones, hewn according to measure, and cedar wood.
¹²大院四周的墙有三层凿好的石头和一层香柏木板；上主的殿宇的内院和殿廊，都包围在内。	¹²The great court was surrounded by a wall of hewn stones and a course of cedar beams, like the interior court of Yahweh's House and its vestibule.
¹³撒罗满王派人由提洛将希兰接来。	¹³King Solomon sent for and brought from Tyre, Hiram,
¹⁴希兰是纳斐塔里支派一个寡妇的儿子，他父亲是提洛的一个铜匠；他多才多艺，会做一切铜工。他来到撒罗满前，为他做一切工作，	¹⁴who was the son of a widow of Naphtali's tribe. His father was from Tyre and an artisan in bronze-work, and he himself was very knowledgeable and skilled in all kinds of bronze-work. Hiram came and did all the work that Solomon asked of him.
¹⁵铸了两根铜柱；一根高十八肘，周径十二肘，四指厚，中空；另一根也是这样。	¹⁵He cast two brazen pillars, both of which measured eighteen cubits high and had a circumference of twelve cubits. Both were hollow and measured four fingers in thickness.
¹⁶制了两个铜铸的柱头，安在柱子顶端:一个柱头高五肘，另一个柱头也高五肘。	¹⁶He also made two capitals of molten bronze to set on the tops of the pillars, both measuring five cubits high.
¹⁷他又制了两个铜网，为遮护柱子顶端的柱头：这一个柱头有一个铜网，另一个柱头也有一个铜网。	¹⁷He also made two pieces of network with a chainlike mesh for each of the capitals on top of the pillars.
¹⁸在网子周围，又制了两行石榴，遮住柱头：两个柱头都是如此。	¹⁸Likewise, he made pomegranates arranged in two rows encircling each piece of network to cover each capital on top of the pillars.
¹⁹柱子顶端上的柱头，刻有百合花形像，四肘高。	¹⁹The capitals on top of the pillars in the vestibule had a lotus design measuring four cubits.
²⁰两根柱子顶端上的柱头突起处，网子后面，各有石榴二百个，分行围绕着。	²⁰They were on the two pillars above the nodes and beside the network, encircled by two hundred pomegranates arranged in two rows.
²¹他将两根柱子竖立在殿廊的前面：给立在右边的柱子，起名叫雅津；给立在左边的柱子，起名叫波阿次：	²¹Hiram set up the pillars at the vestibule of the temple; one to the right called Yakin, and one to the left called Boaz.
²²这样，柱子的工作就算完成了。	²²In this way the work on the pillars was completed.
²³他又铸造了一座铜海，圆形，直径十肘，高五肘，周径三十肘。	²³Hiram then cast the great round bowl called the "Sea," measuring ten cubits from one brim to the opposite; it was five cubits high and had a circumference of thirty cubits.
²⁴铜海边缘下面周围有匏瓜，每肘十个，四面围绕着铜海；匏瓜分成两行，是铸铜海时铸上去的。	²⁴Under its brim, it was encircled with gourds, ten for each cubit, arranged in two rows and cast along with the Sea.
²⁵铜海安放在十二只铜牛上：三只向北，三只向西，三只向南，三只向东。铜海安放在牛背上，牛尾朝里。	²⁵This rested on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east, with their haunches towards the center.

²⁷又铸造了十个铜盆座，每个长四肘，宽四肘，高三肘。	²⁷Hiram also made ten brazen stands, each measuring four cubits long, four cubits wide and three cubits high;

³¹盆座的口，从座底至口边高一肘半；口成圆形，为安放铜盆之用；在口的边缘上也有彫刻；盆座的镶板是四方形的，而不是圆形的。	³¹Its mouth measured one and a half cubits from where the shoulderings met the top; its mouth was round like a rest for a vessel; and on the mouth there were engravings, too. The crosspieces, however, were rectangular, not round.
³²四个轮子是在镶板之下，轮轴与座底相接；轮子高一肘半。	³²The four wheels were below the panels; their axles being one piece with the stands. Each wheel was a cubit and a half high.
³³轮子的制法和车轮的制法一样，轮轴、轮辋、轮辐和轮毂，都是铸成的。	³³The wheels were made like chariot wheels; their axles, rims, spokes and hubs were all of cast metal. The four legs of each stand had cast braces supporting a basin and had wreaths on each side.
³⁴每个盆座有四根支柱支持四角，支柱与盆座是一块铸成的。	³⁴These four braces, extending to the corners of each stand, were of one piece with the stand.
³⁵盆座顶上有一个圆架，高半肘；在座顶上有柄，镶板与座是一块铸成的。	³⁵On top of the stand was a round band half a cubit high, with supports and panels which were of one piece with the stand. This was topped by a crown one cubit high within which was a rounded opening, the way a pedestal is made, a cubit and a half deep. Its opening had carvings and its panels were square and not round.
³⁶镶板壁上刻有革鲁宾、狮子和棕树；四周空处另刻有花纹。	³⁶On the surface of its supports, as also on its panels, and wherever there was space, were carvings of cherubim, lions and palm trees, with wreaths all around.
³⁷十个盆座都是这样做的：铸法、尺寸和式样完全相同。	³⁷This was how the ten stands were made - all of them with the same cast, same measurement, and same form.
³⁸又制了十个铜盆，每个铜盆可容四十「巴特」；每个铜盆高四肘；十个铜盆座上，每个安放一个铜盆。	³⁸Hiram also made ten brazen basins, each holding forty baths and measuring four cubits. There was a basin for each of the ten stands.
³⁹他把盆座，五个放在殿的右边，五个放在殿的左边；至於铜海，他放在殿右靠东南方。	³⁹He placed five of the stands on the south side of the House, and five on the north side. The Sea he placed at the southeast corner of the temple.
⁴⁰希兰又制造了锅、铲和盘：这样，希兰为撒罗满作完了上主殿宇的一切工作：	⁴⁰Hiram also made the bowls, shovels and basins, and thereby finished all the work that he had undertaken for King Solomon on Yahweh's House.
⁴¹计有柱子两根，柱子顶端球形的柱头两个，遮护柱子顶端球形柱头的网子两个，	⁴¹Hence, two pillars, two bowls on the capitals at the top of the pillars,
⁴²两个网子上的石榴四百个──每个网子上有两行石榴，为遮护柱子顶端的两个球形柱头，	⁴²four hundred pomegranates for two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network to cover the two bowls of the capitals at the top of the pillars,
⁴³盆座十个，放在座上的盆子十个，	⁴³ten stands, ten basins on the stands,
⁴⁴铜海一个，铜海下的铜牛十二只，	⁴⁴the Sea, and twelve oxen underneath the Sea.
⁴⁵锅铲、和盘：以上这一切器皿，都是希兰给撒罗满用光滑的铜，为上主的殿制造的，	⁴⁵Now the bowls, shovels and basins - all these vessels which Hiram made in Yahweh's House for King Solomon - were of burnished bronze.
⁴⁶是他在约但平原，稣苛特与匝尔堂之间，用胶泥模铸成的。	⁴⁶The king had them cast in the plain of Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
⁴⁷撒罗满没有秤量这一切器具，因为铜太多，重量无法计算。	⁴⁷Solomon left all the vessels unweighed since there were so many of them. And so the weight of the bronze was not known.
⁴⁸以后，撒罗满又制造了上主殿内的一切用具：就是金祭坛，供饼的金桌，	⁴⁸So Solomon made all the vessels that were in Yahweh's House: the golden altar, the golden table for the bread of Presence,
⁴⁹内殿前的灯台，五个在右边，五个在左边，都是纯金的；还有花蕊、灯盏、烛剪，也是金的。	⁴⁹the lampstands of pure gold, five on the right side and five on the left in front of the inner sanctuary; the flowers, lamps and tongs of gold;
⁵⁰又有盆、刀、碗、杯、火盘，都是纯金的；还有内殿即至圣所，和正殿的门枢，都是金的。	⁵⁰the cups, snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and firepans of pure gold; and the golden hinges for both the doors of the innermost part of the House, the Most Holy Place, and the doors of the Sanctuary of the House.
⁵¹撒罗满王就这样完成了为上主的殿所作的一切工作。撒罗满将他父亲达味所奉献的银子、金子和器皿运了来，存放在上主殿宇的府库内。	⁵¹When all the work that King Solomon did on Yahweh's House was completed, he brought in the things which David his father had dedicated - the silver, the gold, and the vessels - and stored them in the treasures of Yahweh's House.
