¹以色列王雅洛贝罕二十七年，阿玛责雅的儿子阿匝黎雅登极为犹大王。	¹Azariah, son of Amaziah, king of Judah, began to reign in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of Jeroboam in Israel.
²他登极时十六岁，在耶路撒冷作王凡五十二年，他母亲名叫耶苛里雅，是耶路撒冷人。	²He was sixteen years old when he began his reign; he reigned for fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
³阿匝黎雅行了上主视为正义的事，完全像他父亲阿玛责雅所行的一样，	³He did what pleased Yahweh, like his father Amaziah had done.
⁴只是高丘仍没有废除，人民仍在高丘上焚香献祭。	⁴But the Sanctuaries of the Hillsides were not demolished, and the people still offered sacrifices and burned incense on them.
⁵上主打击了君王，君王即患了癞病，直到他死的那一天，独自住在一所王宫里。那时，君王的儿子约堂代理朝事，统治国家的百姓。	⁵Yahweh struck down the king. He became sick with leprosy, and he remained a leper to the day of his death. He lived in an isolated house, while Jotham, his son, was head of the king's household and administered justice in the kingdom.

⁷阿匝黎雅与祖先同眠，与祖先同葬在达味城；他的儿子约堂继位为王。	⁷When Azariah died, they buried him with his fathers in the city of David, and his son Jotham succeeded him.
⁸犹大王阿匝黎雅三十八年，雅洛贝罕的儿子则加黎雅在撒玛黎雅登极为以色列王，在位六个月；	⁸Zechariah, son of Jeroboam, began to reign over Israel in Samaria, its capital, in the thirty-eighth year of Azariah, king of Judah. For the six months that he stayed in power,

¹⁰雅贝士的儿子沙隆结党反叛他，在依贝肋罕杀了他，篡位为王。	¹⁰Shallum, son of Jabesh, conspired against him, and struck him down at Ibleam. He killed him and reigned in his place.

¹²这正应验了上主对耶胡所说的话：「你的子孙要坐以色列王位，直到第四代。」	¹²In this way the promise Yahweh had made to Jehu was fulfilled: "Your sons until the fourth generation shall sit upon the throne of Israel." And so it was.
¹³犹大王乌齐雅三十九年，雅贝士的儿子沙隆登极为王，在撒玛黎雅作王一个月。	¹³Shallum, son of Jabesh, began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah, king of Judah, and he reigned for a month in Samaria.
¹⁴那时，加狄的儿子默纳恒从提尔匝来到撒玛黎雅，在撒玛黎雅杀了雅贝士的儿子沙隆，篡位为王。	¹⁴Then Menahem, son of Gadi, rebelled against him in Tirzah. He came to Samaria and killed Shallum in that city. Having killed Shallum, Menahem reigned in his place.

¹⁶以后默纳恒从提尔匝出发攻打塔普亚，又攻打其四境，因为人没有给他开城门，所以攻破以后，屠杀了城中所有的人，剖开了所有的孕妇。	¹⁶Then Menahem seized Tappuah and killed its inhabitants, devastating its territory from Tirzah onwards, since they would not open the gates to him. And he ripped open all the pregnant women.
¹⁷犹大王阿匝黎雅三十九年，加狄的儿子默纳恒登极为以色列王，在撒玛黎雅作王十年，	¹⁷Menahem, son of Gadi, began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Azariah, king of Judah. He reigned for ten years in Samaria,
¹⁸行了上主视为恶的事，在他有生之日，始终没有离开乃巴特的儿子雅洛贝罕，使以色列陷于罪恶的罪。	¹⁸and he too acted badly towards Yahweh, for he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam, son of Nebat, which he made Israel commit.
¹⁹那时，亚述王普耳前来犯境，默纳恒就送给了普耳一千「塔冷通」银子，要求他扶持自己，巩固自己的王权。	¹⁹In his days, Pul, the king of Assyria, invaded the land of Israel. And Menahem had to give him a thousand talents of silver so that the king of Asshur would receive him as an ally and keep him in power.
²⁰默纳恒向以色列所有富豪征收银子，每人应缴纳五十「协刻耳」，为进献给亚述王。亚述王于是回去了，没有在境内停留。	²⁰Menahem exacted the money from all the wealthy and prominent people of Israel to give to the king of Asshur: fifty pieces of silver from each one. With this, the king of Asshur turned back and did not stay there in the land.

²³犹大王阿匝黎雅五十年，默纳恒的儿子培卡希雅登极为以色列王，在撒玛黎雅作王两年。	²³Pekahiah, son of Menahem, began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the fiftieth year of Azariah, king of Judah. He reigned for two years,
²⁴他行了上主视为恶的事，没有离开乃巴特的儿子雅洛贝罕，使以色列陷于罪恶的种种罪恶。	²⁴during which he acted badly towards Yahweh; he did not turn away from the sins which Jeroboam, son of Nebat, made Israel commit.
²⁵他的军官，勒玛里雅的儿子培卡黑结党反叛他，同阿尔哥布和阿黎厄，以及与他同谋的五十个基肋阿得人，在撒玛黎雅王宫的堡垒内，将他杀死，篡位为王。	²⁵His general, Pekah, son of Remaliah, rebelled against him. He led some fifty men from the province of Gilead, and they came to kill him in Samaria in the tower of the palace. With the king dead, Pekah succeeded him.

²⁹以色列王培卡黑在位时，亚述王提革拉特丕肋色尔前来，侵占了依雍、阿贝耳贝特玛阿加、雅诺亚、刻德士、哈祚尔、基肋阿得、加里肋亚和纳斐塔里全地；并将这些地方的居民都掳往亚述。	²⁹In the time of Pekah, king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, came and seized Iyon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, the territory of Gilead and Galilee, and the whole land of Naphtali, and deported their inhabitants to Asshur.
³⁰乌齐雅的儿子约堂二十年，厄拉的儿子曷舍亚结党反叛勒玛里雅的儿子培卡黑，杀了他，篡位为王。	³⁰Then Hoshea, son of Elah, conspired against Pekah, son of Remaliah, killed him and reigned in his place.

³²以色列王勒玛里雅的儿子培卡黑二年，乌齐雅的儿子约堂登极为犹大王。	³²Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah, began to reign in the second year of Pekah, son of Remaliah, king of Israel.
³³他登极时二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王凡十六年；他的母亲名叫耶鲁沙，是匝多克的女儿。	³³Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother was Jerusha, daughter of Zadok.
³⁴约堂行了上主视为正义的事，完全像他父亲乌齐雅所行的一样，	³⁴He did what pleased Yahweh, as his father had done,
³⁵只是高丘仍没有废除，人民仍在高丘上焚香献祭；他建筑了上主圣殿的北门。	³⁵but he did not abolish the Sanctuaries on the high places where the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense. He built the Upper Gate of the House of Yahweh.

³⁷那时，上主已开始派阿兰王勒斤和勒玛里雅的儿子培卡黑来攻打犹大。	³⁷In those days, Yahweh began to send Rezin, king of Aram, and Pekah, son of Remaliah, against Judah.
³⁸约堂与祖先同眠，与祖先同葬在他祖先达味城内；他的儿子阿哈次继位为王。	³⁸When Jotham died, they buried him with his fathers in the city of his ancestor David, and his son Ahaz succeeded him.
