| 1上主这样说：「为了摩阿布再三再四犯罪，我不收回成命，因为他们曾将厄东君王的骨骸焚化成灰。 | 1Yahweh says this, "Because Moab has sinned, not once but three times and even more, I will not relent. Because they burned to a cinder the bones of the king of Edom, |
| 2我必将火投于摩阿布，烧尽克黎约特的王宫；摩阿布必在骚嚷、呐喊和号角声中灭亡。 | 2I will send fire on Moab and it shall be destroyed in the midst of the tumult, with war cries and the blast of the trumpet. |
| 3我必由其中消灭民长，将她的一切长官同她一起杀死」──上主说。 | 3I will do away with their ruler and all the princes with him," says Yahweh. |
| 4上主这样说：「为了犹大再三再四犯罪，我不收回成命，因为他们离弃了上主的法律，没有遵守他的诫命；他们祖先所追随的邪神，使他们走入了歧途。 | 4Yahweh says this, "Because Judah has sinned, not once but three times and even more, I will not relent. Because they rejected the law of Yahweh and did not keep his statutes, but have been led astray by the falsehood after which their fathers walked, |
| 5我必把火投于犹大，烧尽耶路撒冷的王宫。」 | 5I will send fire upon Judah and it will devour the fortresses of Jerusalem." |
| 6上主这样说：「为了以色列再三再四犯罪，我不收回成命，因为他们为了银钱出卖义人；为一双鞋，出卖无辜的人。 | 6Yahweh says this, "Because Israel has sinned, not once but three times and even more, I will not relent. They sell the just for money and the needy for a pair of sandals; |
| 7他们把穷人的头踏在尘土里，侵夺卑微人的权利；儿子与父亲走近同一少女，以致亵渎了我的圣名； | 7they tread on the head of the poor and trample them upon the dust of the earth, while they silence the right of the afflicted; a man and his father go to the same woman to profane my holy name; |
| 8他们靠近每个祭坛，躺在抵押者的衣服上，在他们的神庙内喝剥削来的酒。 | 8they stretch out upon garments taken in pledge, beside every altar; they take the wine of those they swindle and are drunk in the house of their God. |
| 9是我由你们面前消灭了阿摩黎人，他们虽高大似香柏，坚固如橡树，但我仍从树上摘去了果实，由树下拔出了根子。 | 9It was I who destroyed the Amorites before them, whose height was like the height of the cedar, a people as sturdy as an oak. I destroyed their fruit above and their roots below. |
| 10是我由埃及国领你们上来，四十年之久引你们经过旷野，使你们占领了阿摩黎人的国土。 | 10It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness to take possession of the land of the Amorites. |
| 11是我从你们的子孙中立了一些人为先知，由你们的少年中选拔了一些人作献身者。以色列子民，是不是这样呢？──上主的断语。 | 11It was I who raised up prophets among your sons, and Nazirites among your young men. Is this not so, people of Israel?" says Yahweh. |
| 12但是，你们竟叫献身者喝酒，又吩咐先知说：『别传神言！ 』 | 12"But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink and commanded the prophets not to prophesy. |
| 13看，我要使你们脚下的地摇荡，好像满载禾捆的车摇荡一样， | 13Behold, I will crush you to the ground, as a cart does when it is full of sheaves. |
| 14以致疾行者无法逃遁，强有力者无法施展，武士救不了自己， | 14The swift shall be unable to flee and the strong man shall lose his strength. The warrior shall not save himself nor the bowman stand his ground. |
| 15弓手不能屹立，捷足者不能逃脱，骑马者不能自救。 | 15The swift of foot shall not escape nor the horseman save himself. |
| 16在那一天，武士中最勇敢的，也仅能赤身逃走」──上主的断语。 | 16Even the most stout-hearted among the warriors shall flee away naked on that day," says Yahweh. |
