申命纪	Deuteronomy
¹你们是上主你们天主的儿女。你们不应为死者割伤自己，不应将头顶剃光，	¹Yahweh holds you as his sons, so you will not cut yourselves or cut the hair on your forehead for the dead.
²因为你是属于上主你天主的圣洁人民，上主由地上的万民中，特选了你做他自己的人民。	²You are a people, holy and consecrated to Yahweh, your God. Yahweh has chosen you from among all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his very own people.
³凡是可憎恶之物，你不可吃。	³Do not eat anything that is unclean.
⁴你们可吃的走兽如下：牛、绵羊、山羊、	⁴These are the animals that you may eat: ox, sheep, goat,
⁵鹿、羚羊、黇鹿、野山羊、臆羚、野牛和野羊。	⁵deer, gazelle, roebuck, wild goat, ibex, antelope, and mountain sheep.
⁶走兽中，凡有偶蹄分趾而又反刍的走兽，你们都可以吃。	⁶You may eat any animal that chews the cud and has a split hoof.
⁷但是在反刍或有偶蹄分趾的走兽中，你们不可吃的：有骆驼、兔子和岩狸，因为牠们虽反刍，蹄却不分趾，对你们仍是不洁的。	⁷But of those that chew cud or have a split hoof, you may not eat the following: camel, hare, and rock badger, because they do chew the cud but do not have a divided hoof - these are unclean for you. Neither shall you eat the meat
⁸至于猪，虽有偶蹄，却不反刍，对你们也是不洁的；你们不可吃这些走兽的肉，也不可摸牠们的尸体。	⁸of the pig because although it has a split hoof, it does not chew the cud. Regard it as unclean: do not eat their meat or touch their carcass.
⁹水族中你们可吃的如下：凡有鳍有鳞的，都可以吃；	⁹Of all the animals that live in the water, you may eat the following: all that has fins and scales,
¹⁰凡无鳍无鳞的，都不可吃；这一切对你们都是不洁的。	¹⁰but not those that do not have fins and scales. Consider them as unclean.
¹¹凡是洁净的飞禽，都可以吃。	¹¹You may eat all clean birds.
¹²飞禽中不可吃的：有鹰、鹗、秃鹫、	¹²But do not eat the following: eagle, vulture, osprey,
¹³鸢隼、雕类，	¹³buzzard, kite, the different kinds of falcons,
¹⁴凡乌鸦之类，	¹⁴all kinds of ravens, -
¹⁵驼鸟、夜鹰、海鸥，凡苍鹰之类，	¹⁵ostrich, nighthawk, sea gull, and all the different kinds of hawk,
¹⁶小枭、鸱枭、白鹭、	¹⁶eagle, owl and ibis, swan,
¹⁷塘鹅、鸨、鸬鹚、	¹⁷pelican, purple gallinule, cormorant,
¹⁸鹳鹭类、戴胜和蝙蝠。	¹⁸stork, the different kinds of heron, hoopoe, and bat.
¹⁹凡有翅的昆虫，对你们都是不洁的，都不可吃。	¹⁹Consider as unclean all winged insects. Do not eat them.
²⁰凡洁净的飞禽，都可以吃。	²⁰But you may eat all clean birds.
²¹凡自死的动物，你们不可吃，却可送给在你城内的外方人吃，或卖给外邦人，因为你是属于上主你天主的圣洁人民。不可煮羊羔在其母奶之中。	²¹Do not eat any animal that you find dead. You may give it to the foreigner who lives in your city, or sell it to the stranger, for you are a people consecrated to Yahweh, your God. Do not boil a kid in its mother's milk.
²²你每年在田地内播种所得的出产，应缴纳十分之一。	²²Every year separate the tenth part from the yield of what you have sown in your fields.
²³你应在上主选定为立自己名号的地方，于上主你的天主面前，吃那五谷、酒、油的十分之一，及你的头胎牛羊，好使你能学习着常敬畏上主你的天主。	²³In the presence of Yahweh, in the place he has chosen as the dwelling place for his Name, you shall eat the tithe of your wheat, your oil and your wine, and the firstlings of your herd and flock that you may learn to honor Yahweh, your God, all the days of your life.
²⁴如果为你路途太远，你不能把十分之一之物运去，因为上主你的天主选定为立自己名号的地方离你太远，那么若上主你的天主祝福了你，	²⁴The journey may be too long for you to bring those tithes to the place Yahweh has chosen as a dwelling place for his Name. In that case, when Yahweh your God, blesses you, exchange them all for money.
²⁵你可以把物品换成银钱，手中带着银钱，往上主你的天主所选的地方去，	²⁵Take the money in your hand and go to the place chosen by Yahweh.
²⁶在那里可随意用银钱买牛羊、清酒和浓酒，以及你愿意要的，在上主你的天主面前吃喝，与你的家属一同欢乐；	²⁶There you shall buy whatever you like - oxen or sheep, or wine or strong drink - anything you like. And there you shall eat in the presence of Yahweh, and shall rejoice - you and your household.
²⁷但在你城内的肋未人，你不可忘记，因为他在你中间没有分得产业。	²⁷And do not forget the Levite who dwells in your cities, since he has nothing of his own and no inheritance as you have.
²⁸每过三年，你应取出全部出产的十分之一，储藏在你城镇内，	²⁸Every three years, separate the tithes of all the year's harvest but store them in the city.
²⁹那没有与你分得产业的肋未人，和在你城镇内的外方人、孤儿、寡妇都可来吃喝，得享饱饫，好叫上主你的天主，在你所做的一切事业上祝福你。	²⁹Then the Levite among you who has no inheritance of his own, and the foreigner, the orphan and the widow who live in your cities may come and eat, and be satisfied. So Yahweh will bless all the works of your hands, all that you undertake.
