| 1「人子，你向以色列群山讲预言说：以色列群山，听上主的话罢！ | 1"Son of man, prophesy regarding the mountains of Israel; say to them: Mountains of Israel, hear the word of Yahweh: |
| 2吾主上主这样说：因为敌人曾论你们说：『哈！永远荒凉了，那地已成了我们的产业。』 | 2Your enemies have said: 'Aha! these eternal heights have become our possession.' |
| 3为此你要预言说：吾主上主这样说：因人使你们荒凉了，从各方面侵蚀你们，使你们成为残余民族的产业，并使你们成为人们的口头禅和话柄： | 3People have envied you and ravaged you on all sides; other nations have taken possession of you, so that you became the subject of talk and gossip. Because of that, |
| 4为此，以色列群山！你们听吾主上主的话罢！吾主上主这样对高山、丘陵、溪涧、山谷、荒凉的废墟，以及那些曾为四周残余民族的掠物和笑柄而被遗弃的城邑说： | 4mountains of Israel, hear this word of Yahweh. Yahweh says to the mountains, the hills, the ravines and the valleys, to the deserted ruins and the empty towns which have become the plunder and target of mockery for other nations around: |
| 5吾主上主这样说：我必在我妒火中发言攻斥各残余的民族和整个厄东，她们心里怀着幸灾乐祸，和轻视的心情，将我的地方据为自己的产业，劫掠它当作战利品。 | 5Truly in the fire of my jealousy I will speak against the other nations, namely all of Edom, who with glee and malice in their hearts, have taken possession of my land and plundered its pastures. |
| 6为此，你向以色列地域讲预言，对高山、丘陵、溪涧和山谷说：吾主上主这样说：因为你们遭受了异民的凌辱，看，我必在妒火和愤怒中发言。 | 6Now you shall prophesy concerning Israel. You shall say to the mountains, the hills, the ravines and the valleys: This is the word of Yahweh who speaks in the fury of his jealousy! Because you have suffered the scorn of the nations, |
| 7为此，吾主上主这样说：我举手起誓：你们四周的异民必要遭受他们当受的凌辱。 | 7Yahweh says: I swear with uplifted hand, the nations surrounding you will suffer scorn. |
| 8以色列群山，你们要给我的百姓以色列生出枝叶，结出果实，因为他们快来到了。 | 8But you, mountains of Israel, you shall bring forth branches and produce fruit for my people Israel, for soon they will return. |
| 9看，我偕同你们，眷顾你们，使你们得以耕种，得以播种， | 9Indeed, I have turned in your direction and I have bent towards you; you will be cultivated and sown with seed. |
| 10在你们那里增加全以色列家族的人数，使城邑再有居民，废墟得以重建。 | 10I will increase your population in all Israel; the towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. |
| 11我要在你们那里，使人和牲畜的数目增多，他们要增加繁殖；我要使你们再有居民，如同昔日一样，优待你们胜过先前，如此，你们便承认我是上主。 | 11Both people and animals will increase; they will be fruitful and multiply. I will build up their numbers as in the past and they will know that I am Yahweh. |
| 12我要引领人，即我的百姓以色列到你们上面，他们要占领你，你要成为他们的产业，再不使他们丧失子女。 | 12Men and women of Israel will walk on you again. They will take possession of you; you will be their heritage again, and never again will you let their children perish." |
| 13吾主上主这样说：因为人向你说：你吞噬了人，并使你的百姓丧失子女； | 13Yahweh speaks, "People say that you devour men and that you rob your people of children. |
| 14从此你不再吞噬人，也不再使你的百姓丧失子女──吾主上主的断语── | 14But never again shall you devour men or rob your people of children - word of Yahweh. |
| 15我不再让在你那里听到异民的凌辱，你也不再受异民咒骂，也不再使你的百姓丧失子女──吾主上主的断语。」 | 15You shall no longer hear the mockery of the nations or suffer the insults of other lands - word of Yahweh." |
| 16上主的话传给我说： | 16The word of Yahweh came to me in these terms, |
| 17「人子，以色列家族住在自己的地域时，以自己的品行和作为玷污了此地，他们的品行在我面前好似经期的污秽。 | 17"Son of man, when Israel occupied her own land she defiled it by her way of life and her actions. To me her conduct was like the uncleanness of a woman in her period. |
| 18因他们在此地所流的血，又因他们的偶像玷污了此地，我遂在他们身上发泄我的愤怒， | 18I poured out my fury on them because of the blood they shed in the land and because they defiled it with their filthy idols. |
| 19将他们分散在异民中，散布在各国，照他们的品行和作为惩罚了他们。 | 19Then I scattered them among the nations and dispersed them in other lands. I judged them according to their conduct and their actions. |
| 20他们到了应去的异民那里，还亵渎了我的圣名，因为人们论及他们说：『这些人原是雅威的百姓，但他们却应当离开他的地域！』 | 20But when they were brought to other nations, my holy Name was profaned because others said of them: 'The people of Yahweh had to be exiled from his land!' |
| 21我遂怜惜我的圣名，即以色列家族在他们所到的异民中所亵渎的圣名。 | 21Then I was concerned for my holy Name, profaned by Israel among the nations where she had been dispersed. Now you shall say to the people of Israel: |
| 22为此，你要告诉以色列家族，吾主上主这样说：以色列家族，我作这事并不是为了你们，而是为了我的圣名，即你们在所到的异民中所亵渎的圣名。 | 22It is not for your sake that I am about to act, but because of my holy Name that you have profaned in the places where you have gone. |
| 23我要使我的大名显圣，即在异民中被亵渎，即你们在他们中所亵渎的圣名；当我在你们身上，在他们眼前显为圣的时候，异民就要承认我是上主──吾主上主的断语。 | 23I will make known the holiness of my great Name, profaned among the nations because of you, and they will know that I am Yahweh when I show them my holiness among you. |
| 24我要把你们从异民中领出，从各地聚集你们，领你们回到你们的地域。 | 24For I will gather you from all the nations and bring you back to your own land. |
| 25那时，我要在你们身上洒清水，洁净你们，净化你们脱离各种不洁和各种偶像。 | 25Then I shall pour pure water over you and you shall be made clean - cleansed from the defilement of all your idols. |
| 26我还要赐给你们一颗新心，在你们五内放上一种新的精神，从你们的肉身内取去铁石的心，给你们换上一颗血肉的心。 | 26I shall give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I shall remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. |
| 27我要将我的神赐于你们五内，使你们遵行我的规律，恪守我的诫命，且一一实行。 | 27I shall put my spirit within you and move you to follow my decrees and keep my laws. |
| 28如此，你们要居住在我赐给你们祖先的地方；你们要作我的百姓，我作你们的天主。 | 28You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you shall be my people and I will be your God. |
| 29我要救你们脱离各种不洁，命五谷丰登，不再让你们遭受饥荒。 | 29I will free you from all your uncleanness. I shall summon the wheat and make it plentiful and so keep famine away from you. |
| 30我要使树上的果实，田间的出产丰收，免得你们因饥荒受异民凌辱。 | 30I shall see that the fruits of the earth and the produce of the fields are plentiful and that you no longer suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations. |
| 31那时你们记起了你们的恶行和那些不好的行为，连你们自己对你们的罪过和丑恶之事，也感觉讨厌。 | 31Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked actions and loathe yourselves for the sins you committed and for your detestable practices. |
| 32你们应清楚知道：我作这事并不是为了你们──吾主上主的断语──以色列家族！对你们的品行害羞惭愧罢！ | 32I want you to know that it is not for your sake I am doing this, word of Yahweh. Be ashamed and humbled because of your conduct, Israel! |
| 33吾主上主这样说：在我洁化你们脱离各种罪过的那天，使城邑有人居住，废墟得以重建， | 33This is what Yahweh says: The day I cleanse you from all your sins, I shall repopulate the cities and the ruins will be rebuilt. |
| 34在过客眼中曾为荒芜的地方，再得以耕种之时， | 34The devastated land will be cultivated wherever passersby saw it desolate. |
| 35人们要说：那曾荒废的地方，如今成了『伊甸』乐园；荒芜废弃和破坏的城邑，如今成了设防安居之地。 | 35Everyone will say, 'This devastated land is now a garden of Eden and its cities once in ruins and leveled to the ground have been rebuilt and populated.' |
| 36如此，你们四周的残余民族便承认，是我上主重建了破坏的城，种植了荒废的地。我上主言出必行。 | 36And the nations that remain around you will know that I, Yahweh, have rebuilt the ruined city and replanted what was desolate. I, Yahweh, have spoken and I will do it. |
| 37吾主上主这样说：我还要让以色列家族求我实行这事：叫他们的人数繁殖，多如羊群； | 37Thus says Yahweh: Once again I shall listen to the plea of Israel and favor them. I shall make their people as numerous as sheep, |
| 38就如被奉献的羊群，就如在庆节日耶路撒冷的羊群有多少，荒芜的城邑也要充满那么多的人群：如此，他们便承认我是上主。」 | 38as numerous as the flock they bring to Jerusalem's Temple at the time of her holy days. In the same way the ruined cities will be filled with flocks of people and they will know that I am Yahweh." |
