创世纪	Genesis
¹上主对诺厄说：「你和你全家进入方舟，因为在这一世代，我看只有你在我面前正义。	¹Yahweh said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I see that you are just in this generation.
²由一切洁净牲畜中，各取公母七对；由那些不洁净的牲畜中，各取公母一对；	²Of all the clean animals, you are to take with you seven of each kind, male and female, and a pair of unclean animals, a male and a female.
³由天空的飞鸟中，也各取公母七对；好在全地面上传种。	³In the same way for the birds of the air, take seven and seven, male and female, to keep their kind alive over all the earth,
⁴因为还有七天，我要在地上降雨四十天四十夜，消灭我在地面上所造的一切生物。」	⁴for in seven days I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. I will blot out from the face of the earth all the living creatures I have created."
⁵诺厄全照上主吩咐他的做了。	⁵Noah did all as Yahweh had commanded.
⁶当洪水在地上氾滥时，诺厄已六百岁。	⁶Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters covered the earth.
⁷诺厄和他的儿子，他的妻子和他的儿媳，同他进了方舟，为躲避洪水。	⁷So Noah went into the ark with his children, his wife and his sons' wives to escape the waters of the flood.
⁸洁净的牲畜和不洁净的牲畜，飞鸟和各种在地上爬行的动物，	⁸Clean animals and also unclean, birds, and all that crawls on the earth went into the ark with Noah;
⁹一对一对地同诺厄进了方舟；都是一公一母，照天主对他所吩咐的。	⁹they went two and two, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
¹⁰七天一过，洪水就在地上氾滥。	¹⁰And after seven days the waters of the flood were over the earth.
¹¹诺厄六百岁那一年，二月十七日那天，所有深渊的泉水都冒出，天上的水闸都开放了；	¹¹In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month and on the seventeenth day of the month, all the fountains of the great deep burst forth
¹²大雨在地上下了四十天四十夜。	¹²and there was a downpour on the earth lasting forty days and forty nights.
¹³正在这一天，诺厄和他的儿子闪、含、耶斐特，他的妻子和他的三个儿媳，一同进了方舟。	¹³On that same day Noah went into the ark, as well as Shem, Ham and Japheth, his sons, and his wife and his daughters-in-law.
¹⁴他们八口和所有的野兽、各种牲畜、各种在地上爬行的爬虫、各种飞禽，	¹⁴All the animals according to their kind also entered into the ark, all the cattle, all the creeping things that crawl on the earth and all the birds according to their kind; all that flies and everything with wings.
¹⁵一切有生气有血肉的，都一对一对地同诺厄进了方舟。	¹⁵They came to Noah in the ark, two by two, all creatures that had the breath of life in them.
¹⁶凡有血肉的，都是一公一母地进了方舟，如天主对诺厄所吩咐的。随后上主关了门。	¹⁶And they that went in were male and female just as God had commanded. Then Yahweh closed the door on Noah.
¹⁷洪水在地上氾滥了四十天；水不断增涨，浮起了方舟，方舟遂由地面上升起。	¹⁷The flood lasted for forty days on the earth. The waters rose and lifted the ark and raised it above the earth.
¹⁸洪水汹涌，在地上猛涨，方舟漂浮在水面上。	¹⁸The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.
¹⁹洪水在地上一再猛涨，天下所有的高山也都没了顶；	¹⁹The water rose more and more above the earth and all the high mountains under the heavens were submerged.
²⁰洪水高出淹没的群山十有五肘。	²⁰The waters had risen and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet.
²¹凡地上行动而有血肉的生物：飞禽、牲畜、野兽，在地上爬行的爬虫，以及所有的人全灭亡了；	²¹Every living thing that moved on the earth died: birds, cattle, animals, everything that swarmed on the earth - and all humankind.
²²凡在旱地上以鼻呼吸的生灵都死了。	²²All on the face of the earth that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.
²³这样，天主消灭了在地面上的一切生物，由人以至于牲畜、爬虫以及天空中的飞鸟，这一切都由地上消灭了，只剩下诺厄和同他在方舟内的人物。	²³Every living being on the face of the earth, men and animals, and creatures that crawl and the birds of the air were wiped off the earth. Only Noah was left and those that were with him in the ark.
²⁴洪水在地上氾滥了一百五十天。	²⁴The waters flooded the earth for one hundred and fifty days.
