依撒依亚	Isaiah
¹上主必要怜恤雅各伯，再拣选以色列，使他们安居在自己的国土；外方人要与他们联合，加入雅各伯的家族。	¹The Lord will take pity on Jacob, he will choose Israel again and settle them in their own land. Then foreigners will join them and be counted with the people of Jacob.
²选民要接受他们，要带领他们回归故里；以色列家族，在上主的国土内，要占有他们为奴婢；于是以色列人要俘掳那俘掳过他们的人，要统治压迫他们的人。	²Nations will take them and bring them to their own place. But as soon as they are back home, the people of Israel will subdue them and make them servants and maids. Thus the people of Israel will make captives of their captors and rule over their oppressors.
³当上主赐你摆脱困苦、忧患和你受的苦役时，那天，	³On the day Yahweh gives you rest from your suffering and turmoil, from your fear and your cruel bondage,
⁴你要对巴比伦王高唱这首讽刺诗说：怎么，暴虐者住手了！强横止息了！	⁴you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How has the oppression ceased? How has the strongman ended?
⁵邪恶者的棍棒，统治者的权杖，已为上主折断，	⁵Yahweh has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the tyrant
⁶就是那怀着怒气，三番五次痛击过万民，在忿恨中以无情的残虐，蹂躏过万邦的棍棒。	⁶who struck down the people with blow after blow, who ruled the nations in anger, with unrelenting persecution.
⁷大地安谧宁静，人人兴高采烈；	⁷The whole earth is at rest and at peace, breaking forth into song.
⁸连松树和黎巴嫩的香柏也都因你而喜庆：「自从你仆倒后，再没有谁上我们这里来砍伐！」	⁸Even the cypresses exult and the cedars of Lebanon say: "Now that you have fallen, no loggers come to cut us down."
⁹地下的阴府为了你而激动，为欢迎你的来临；并为了你，唤醒幽魂及地上所有的贵卿，使列国的君王由自己的宝座上起立；	⁹The netherworld is all astir to meet you when you come. It stirs up the dead to greet you - all who were leaders of theworld. It raises from their thrones - all who were kings of the nations.
¹⁰众人都开口对你说：「连你也衰弱得和我们一样啊！你也与我们相同啊！」	¹⁰They all speak and say to you: "You have also been thrown to the ground and have become like us!
¹¹你的豪华，你琴瑟的乐声，也堕入阴府；你下面舖的是蛆，上面盖的是虫。	¹¹All your pomp has been brought down to the Kingdom of death, along with the sound of your harps; maggots are the bed beneath you and worms are your blanket.
¹²朝霞的儿子──晨星！你怎会从天坠下？倾覆万邦者！你怎么也被砍倒在地？	¹²How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cast down to the ground, you who mowed down the nations!
¹³你心中曾说过：「我要直冲霄汉，高置我的御座在天主的星宿以上；我要坐在盛会的山上，极北之处；	¹³You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven, I will raise my throne higher than the stars of God; I will sit on the Mount of Assembly, in the far recesses of the North.
¹⁴我要升越云表，与至高者相平衡！」	¹⁴I will climb up above the clouds; I will be like the Most High!"
¹⁵然而，你却下到了阴府，深渊的极处。	¹⁵But down to the netherworld you go, to the deep recesses of the Pit.
¹⁶看见你的，必注视你，仔细端详你说：「这不是那使大地战栗，列国动荡，	¹⁶All who see you stare at you and ponder over your fate: "Is this the man who shook the earth, who made kingdoms quake,
¹⁷化世界为荒野，摧毁城邑，不为俘囚开放监狱的人吗？」	¹⁷who made the world a waste, who overthrew its cities and would not give its captives release?"
¹⁸万邦的君王都在荣耀中安葬，各在自己的阴宅里；	¹⁸All kings of nations lie in state, each in his own tomb.
¹⁹但是你却被抛于坟外，像一个叫人厌恶的流产胎儿，为刀剑杀戮的死者所掩盖，有如遭践踏的死尸。连那些被抛在石坑里的，	¹⁹You are nevertheless cast out of the tomb, like a rejected untimely birth, like a trampled corpse buried under the slaughtered, under those cut down by the sword, thrown into the common grave.
²⁰你也不得与他们一同埋葬，因为你破坏了你的国土，残杀了你的人民：恶人的后代永不为人所提念。	²⁰You were not given a monument for you have brought your land to ruin, and caused your people to be slain. May the descendants of evildoers never be mentioned again!
²¹你们应为他们的儿子准备屠场，因为他们的父亲有了罪孽；他们决不能再兴起，占据大地，而使地面满是荒凉。	²¹Go up, slaughter the sons for the sins of their fathers, lest they rise and possess the land and cover the earth with their cities.
²²我要起来攻击他们──万军上主的断语──我要抹去巴比伦的名号、遗民、后裔和子孙──上主的断语。	²²"I will rise up against them," says Yahweh Sabaoth. "I will cut off from Babylon her name, her remnant, offspring and posterity," says Yahweh.
²³我要使她成为刺猬的领土和池沼，我以毁灭的扫帚将她扫净──万军上主的断语。	²³"I will turn her into a swampland, a habitation of reptiles and crocodiles; I will sweep her with the broom of destruction," says Yahweh Sabaoth.
²⁴万军的上主起誓说：「实在，我怎样想，必怎样实现；我怎样计划，必怎样成功：	²⁴Yahweh Sabaoth has sworn: "As I have planned, so will it be! As I have decided, so will I do;
²⁵我要在我的国土内粉碎亚述，在我的山岭上将她践踏；她的重担必要由他们肩上卸下。」	²⁵I will destroy the Assyrian in my land, trample him down on my mountains; take his yoke off my people's neck, and remove his burden from their shoulders.
²⁶这是对全地所决定的计划，这是向万邦所伸展的手臂，	²⁶This is the sentence he pronounced for the whole earth; with his hand stretched out over all nations.
²⁷因为万军的上主已决定，谁能阻止？他的手已伸出，谁能使它收回？	²⁷Yahweh has made a decision, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?
²⁸在阿哈次驾崩那年有以下这个神谕：	²⁸In the year King Ahaz died this oracle was proclaimed:
²⁹「全体培肋舍特啊！你不要因为打击你的棍棒折断了就喜悦，因为由蛇的根子将生出毒蝮，，而牠的子息必是飞龙。	²⁹"Rejoice not, all you Philistines, that the rod which smote you is broken; for from the root of the snake will come forth a viper, and its offspring will be a flying dragon.
³⁰贫苦的人在我的牧场上必得饲养，穷困的人要泰然安息；但是我要以饥荒饿死你的余生，杀绝你的遗民。	³⁰On that day my poor will have their fill with the fruits of my fields and the helpless will rest secure. But through famine I will kill your children and slay even your remnant.
³¹门啊！哀号罢！城啊！悲鸣罢！全体培肋舍特啊！战栗罢！因为有烟从北而来，在她的队伍中没有落伍者。」	³¹Wail, O gate! Cry, O city! tremble in fear, all you Philistines! For smoke comes from the north - a great army sweeps down on you.
³²然而要怎样答复外邦的使者？「上主建立了熙雍，使他民族中的忧患者，在那里获得保护。」	³²What answer will then be given to the messengers of that nation? "Yahweh has laid the foundation of Zion, and there his afflicted people will take refuge."
