| 1上主在西乃山训示梅瑟说： | 1Yahweh spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai: |
| 2「你告诉以色列子民说：几时你们进入了我要赐给你们的地方，这地方将为上主守安息。 | 2"Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land I am giving you, let the land rest for Yahweh every seventh year. |
| 3六年之内，你可播种田地；六年之内，你可修剪葡萄园，收获其中的出产。 | 3For six years you shall sow your field, prune your vineyard and harvest the produce, |
| 4但到第七年，地应完全休息，是上主的安息年。你不可播种田地，也不可剪修葡萄园； | 4but in the seventh year the land shall have a rest, or sabbath, a sabbath for Yahweh. You shall not sow your field nor prune your vineyard; |
| 5连你收获后而自然生出的，你也不可收割；葡萄树未加修剪而结的葡萄，你也不可采摘；是地完全休息的一年。 | 5you shall not reap the aftergrowth of your harvest nor gather the grapes of your uncultivated vines. This shall be a year of rest for the land, |
| 6地在休息期而自然生出的，可供给你们吃：即供给你、你的仆婢、佣工和与你同住的客人吃。 | 6but whatever it produces of itself will provide food for you, for your male and female slaves, for your hired servant and for the stranger who lives with you. |
| 7地自然生的，也可供给你的牲畜和你地中的走兽吃。 | 7Its produce will likewise provide food for your livestock and for the wild animals on your land. |
| 8你应计算七个安息年，即七乘七年；七个安息年的时期，正是四十九年。 | 8When seven sabbaths of years have passed, that is, seven times seven years, there shall be the time of the seven weeks of years, that is forty-nine years. |
| 9这年七月初十，你应吹号角，即在赎罪节日，你们应在全国内吹起号角， | 9Then on the tenth day of the seventh month sound the trumpet loudly. On this Day of Atonement sound the trumpet all through the land. |
| 10祝圣第五十年，向全国居民宣布自由；为你们是一喜年，人各归其祖业，人各返其家庭。 | 10Keep holy the fiftieth year and proclaim freedom for all the inhabitants of the land. It shall be a jubilation year for you when each one shall recover his property and go back to his family. |
| 11第五十年为你们是一喜年，不可播种；自然生出的，不可收获；葡萄树未加修剪而结的葡萄，不可采摘， | 11In this fiftieth year, your year of Jubilee, you shall neither sow nor reap the aftergrowth, nor gather the grapes from the uncultivated vines. |
| 12因为这是喜年，为你们应是圣年；你们只可吃田地自然生的。 | 12This Jubilee year shall be holy for you, and you shall eat what the field yields of itself without cultivation. |
| 13在这喜年内，人各归其祖业。 | 13In this year of Jubilee each of you shall recover his own property. |
| 14为此，如你卖给你的同胞产业，或由你的同胞购买，你们不可彼此欺压； | 14When you sell something to your neighbor or buy something from him, do not wrong one another. |
| 15你应照上次喜年后的年数由你同胞购买，他应照收获的年数卖给你。 | 15According to the number of years after the Jubilee, you shall buy it from your neighbor and according to the number of years left for harvesting crops he shall sell to you. |
| 16年数越多，你越应多付买价；年数越少，越应少付买价，因为他卖给你的是物产的数目。 | 16When the years are many the price shall be greater and when the years are few the price shall be less, for it is the number of crops that he is selling to you. |
| 17为此，你们不可彼此欺压，但应敬畏你的天主，因为我上主是你们的天主。 | 17So you shall not wrong one another but you shall fear your God, for I am Yahweh, your God. |
| 18你们应遵行我的法令，遵守我的规定，一一依照执行，好叫你们平安地住在这地上， | 18Carry out my precepts and obey my laws. In that way you will live securely in the land. |
| 19地必供给出产，使你们吃饱，平安住在地上。 | 19The land will give its fruit so that you may have food in abundance and live securely. |
| 20若你们追问说：到第七年，我们若不能播种，又不能收集我们的出产，我们吃什么？ | 20But if you ask: What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not sow or gather crops?; see that |
| 21在第六年上，我必决定祝福你们，叫地有三年的出产； | 21I will send you my blessing in the sixth year that it may produce enough for three years. |
| 22你们在第八年上播种时，还吃陈粮；直到第九年，直到收割新粮时，还有陈粮吃。 | 22So in the eighth year the remains of the old crop will provide you with what to sow and to eat until the harvest of the ninth year is ready. |
| 23土地不可出卖而无收回权，因为地是我的，你们为我只是旅客或住客。 | 23The land shall not be sold forever for the land is mine, where you are but strangers and guests of mine. |
| 24对你们所占的各地，应承认地有赎回权。 | 24In all the territory you occupy, the land is to be redeemed. |
| 25如果你的兄弟贫穷，卖了一分家产，他的至亲可来作代赎人，赎回他兄弟所卖的家产。 | 25When your brother becomes poor and sells his property, his nearest relative is to come and buy back what his relative has sold. |
| 26人若没有代赎人，几时自己富足了，有了足够的赎价， | 26If the man has no relatives to buy back his property, but later has sufficient means to redeem it, |
| 27当计算卖出后的年数，将差额还给买主，收回自己的家产。 | 27he will calculate the value based on the number of years since he sold it and refund the balance to the man to whom he sold it and in that way he shall re-cover his property. |
| 28如果他无法获得足够的赎价，他所卖的，应存于买主之手直到喜年；到了喜年，地应退还，卖主收回自己的家产。 | 28But if he does not find the means to repay him, what has been sold shall remain with the buyer until the Jubilee year when it must be given back to its original owner. |
| 29若人卖了一所在城墙内的住宅，自卖出后，一年内，他有赎回的权利；他赎回的权利为期一年。 | 29In the same way, if a man sells a house in a walled city, his right of redemption shall last until the end of a year from the time of its sale; his right of redemption lasts a whole year. |
| 30如果满了一年，他没有赎回，在城墙内的房屋应归买主与其后代，再无收回权；即使到了喜年，亦不应退还。 | 30If it is not redeemed by the end of a complete year, the house in the walled city shall belong permanently to the one who bought it and to his descendants, and it shall not be released in the Jubilee year. |
| 31但房屋在没有围墙的村庄内，应算是田产，有赎回的权利；到了喜年应该退还。 | 31Houses in villages which have no surrounding wall are considered as fields; they have redemption rights and may be released in a Jubilee year. |
| 32至于肋未人得为产业的城市中的房屋，肋未人永享有赎回权。 | 32As for the towns of the Levites, their houses belong to the Levites and they have a permanent right to redeem what is bought from them. |
| 33如一肋未人在他得为产业的城市出卖的房屋，没有赎回，在喜年仍可收回，因为肋未城中的房屋，是他们在以色列子民中所得的不动产。 | 33Any house in a town of the Levites can return to them at the time of the Jubilee, for the houses in the towns of the Levites are their possession among the Israelites. |
| 34但是，他们城外四郊之地，不可变卖，因为是永属他们的产业。 | 34The field also belonging to their towns must not be sold forever; it is their permanent possession. |
| 35如果你的兄弟贫穷，无力向你还债，你应像待外方人或旅客一样扶持他，叫他能与你一起生活。 | 35If your brother becomes poor and is unable to support himself, help him. Help this stranger or this guest that he may live with you. |
| 36不应向他索取利息或重利，但应敬畏你的天主，让他与你一起生活，如你的兄弟。 | 36Do not take interest from him, but fear your God, so that your brother may live among you. |
| 37借给他银钱，不可取利息；借给他粮食，不可索重利。 | 37Do not give him your silver at interest nor your food for gain. |
| 38我上主是你们的天主，我领你们离开埃及地，将客纳罕地赐给你们，是为做你们的天主。 | 38I am Yahweh, your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of the Canaanites and to be your God. |
| 39若你身傍的兄弟穷了，卖身给你，你不可迫他劳作如同奴隶一样； | 39If your brother becomes poor and sells himself to you, do not make him work as a slave, |
| 40他在你身旁，应像佣工或外侨，给你工作直到喜年。 | 40but let him remain with you as a hired servant and an alien until the year of Jubilee. |
| 41那时，他和他的子女应离开你，回本家，复归其祖业； | 41He shall then leave you, he and his sons with him, and return to his own family and to the property of his fathers. |
| 42因为他们是我的仆役，是我由埃及地领出来的；他们不能卖身，如同出卖奴隶。 | 42For they are my servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt and they are not to be sold as slaves. |
| 43你不可虐待他，但应敬畏你的天主。 | 43Do not rule over them harshly, but fear your God. |
| 44你需要的奴婢，应来自你们四周的民族，由他们中可购买奴婢。 | 44As for the male and female slaves, it is from the nations around you that you are to buy them. |
| 45此外，可从同你们住在一起的外方人中，或从他们在你们境内所生的后代子孙中，购买奴婢。这些奴婢可成为你们的产业， | 45You may also buy from among the aliens who live with you and from their families, born in your land, and they may be your property. |
| 46可将他们留给你们的后代子孙，当作永久的产业，使他们劳作。至于你们的兄弟以色列子民，彼此既是兄弟，不可严加虐待。 | 46So you may leave them to your children as inherited possessions and make them slaves for life. But regarding your Israelite brothers, you must not rule over them harshly. |
| 47若外方人，或寄居在你处的人成了富翁，你的兄弟反而穷了，欠他的债，而卖身给寄居在你处的外方人，或外方人家中的后代； | 47If an alien or temporary resident becomes prosperous and one of your brothers becomes so poor as to sell himself to a stranger who is living with you or to a member of the stranger's family, |
| 48卖身以后，仍享有赎回的权利；他的任何一个兄弟可以赎他； | 48he shall have the right of redemption. One of his brothers may redeem him, |
| 49他的叔伯，或他叔伯的儿子可以赎他；他家中的任何至亲骨肉都可以赎他；如他自己致富，亦可自赎。 | 49or his uncle or the son of his uncle or a near relative may redeem him. |
| 50他应同购买自己的人，计算从卖身给他以后到喜年的年数；赎价应依照年数的多少，并按佣工每日的工价决定； | 50If he becomes rich, let him redeem himself. He shall reckon with his buyer from the time he sold himself until the year of Jubilee and the price of his sale shall correspond to the number of years. If many years remain, he shall be reckoned at the price of a hired servant, according to the number of years. |
| 51如剩下的年数尚多，他应依照年数的多少，出一部分赎价来赎身。 | 51If redeemed when many years remain, he shall refund out of the price paid for him, according to the remaining time. |
| 52如直到喜年剩下的年数不多，应这样计算：依照年数的比例交付赎价。 | 52If only a few years remain until the Jubilee year, he will calculate and refund accordingly. |
| 53买主对他应像每年雇的工人；他不可当着你虐待那人。 | 53He shall be with him as a servant hired year by year and he shall not be harshly dealt with. |
| 54如果那人不能这样赎身，到了喜年，他可与儿女自由离去。 | 54If he is redeemed in any of these ways, he shall be released in the Jubilee year, he and his sons with him. |
| 55因为以色列子民只对我是奴隶，他们是我的奴隶，是我领他们离开了埃及地：我，上主是你们的天主。 | 55For it is to me that the sons of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh, your God. |
