| 1耶稣对门徒说：「引人跌倒的事是免不了的；但是，引人跌倒的人是有祸的。 | 1Jesus said to his disciples, "Scandals will necessarily come and cause people to fall; but woe to the one who has brought it about. |
| 2把一块磨石套在他的颈上，投入海中，比让他引这些小子中的一个跌倒，为他更好。 | 2It would be better for that one to be thrown into the sea with a millstone around the neck. Truly this would be better for that person than to cause one of these little ones to fall. |
| 3你们要谨慎！如果你的兄弟犯了罪，你就得规劝他；他如果后悔了，你就得宽恕他。 | 3Be careful. If your brother offends you, rebuke him and if he is sorry, forgive him. |
| 4如果他一天七次得罪了你，而又七次转向你说：我后悔了，你也得宽恕他。」 | 4And if he offends you seven times in a day but says to you seven times: 'I'm sorry,' forgive him." |
| 5宗徒们向主说：「请增加我们的信德罢！」 | 5The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith." And the Lord said, |
| 6主说：「如果你们有信德像芥子那样大，即使你们给这棵桑树说：你连根拔出，移植到海中去！它也会服从你们的。 | 6"If you have faith even the size of a mustard seed, you may say to this tree: 'Be uprooted and plant yourself in the sea,' and it will obey you. |
| 7你们中间谁有仆人耕田或放羊，从田地里回来，即给他说：你快过来坐下吃饭罢！ | 7Who among you would say to your servant coming in from the fields after plowing or tending sheep: 'Come at once and sit down at table'? |
| 8而不给他说：预备我吃饭，束上腰伺候我，等我吃喝完毕，以后你才吃喝？ | 8No, you tell him: 'Prepare my dinner. Put on your apron and wait on me while I eat and drink; you can eat and drink afterwards.' |
| 9仆人做了吩咐的事，主人岂要向他道谢？ | 9Do you thank this servant for doing what you commanded? |
| 10你们也是这样，既做完吩咐你们的一切，仍然要说：我们是无用的仆人，我们不过做了我们应做的事。」 | 10So for you. When you have done all that you have been told to do, you must say: 'We are no more than servants; we have only done our duty.'" |
| 11耶稣往耶路撒冷去的时候，经过撒玛黎雅及加里肋亚中间， | 11On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing along the border between Samaria and Galilee, and |
| 12走进一个村庄的时候，有十个癞病人迎面而来，远远地站着。 | 12as he entered a village, ten lepers came to meet him. |
| 13他们提高声音说：「师傅，耶稣，可怜我们罢！」 | 13Keeping their distance, they called to him, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" |
| 14耶稣定睛一看，向他们说：「你们去，叫司祭们检验你们罢！」他们去的时候，便洁净了。 | 14Then Jesus said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." Now, as they went their way, they found they were cured. |
| 15其中一个，看见自己痊愈了，就回来大声光荣天主， | 15One of them, as soon as he saw he was cleansed, turned back praising God in a loud voice, and |
| 16并且跪伏在耶稣足前，感谢他；他是一个撒玛黎雅人。 | 16throwing himself on his face before Jesus, he gave him thanks. This man was a Samaritan. |
| 17耶稣便说道：「洁净了的不是十个人吗？那九个人在那里呢？ | 17Then Jesus said, "Were not all ten healed? Where are the other nine? |
| 18除了这个外邦人，就没有别人回来归光荣于天主吗？」 | 18Was no one found to return and give praise to God but this alien?" |
| 19耶稣遂给那人说：「起来，去罢！你的信德救了你。」 | 19And Jesus said to him, "Stand up and go your way; your faith has saved you." |
| 20法利塞人问耶稣天主的国何时要来；耶稣回答说：「天主国的来临，并非是显然可见的； | 20The Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God was to come. He answered, "The kingdom of God is not like something you can observe |
| 21人也不能说：看呀，在这里；或：在那里。因为天主的国就在你们中间。」 | 21and say of it: 'Look, here it is! There it is!' See, the kingdom of God is among you." |
| 22耶稣对门徒说：「日子将到，那时，你们切望看见人子日子中的一天，而不得见。 | 22And Jesus said to his disciples, "The time is at hand when you will long to see one of the glorious days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. |
| 23人要向你们说：看呀，在那里；看呀，在这里。你们不要去，也不要追随， | 23Then people will tell you: 'Look there! Look here!' Do not go, do not follow them. |
| 24因为犹如闪电由天这边闪起，直照到天那边：人子在他的日子里，也要这样。 | 24As lightning flashes from one end of the sky to the other, so will it be with the Son of Man. |
| 25但他必须先受许多苦，且被这一代所摈弃。 | 25But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this people. |
| 26在诺厄的日子里怎样，在人子的日子里也要怎样； | 26As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be on the day the Son of Man comes. |
| 27那时，人们吃喝婚嫁，直到诺厄进入方舟的那天，洪水来了，消灭了所有的人。 | 27Then people ate and drank; they took husbands and wives. But on the day Noah entered the ark, the flood came and destroyed them all. |
| 28又如在罗特的日子里，人们吃喝买卖，种植建造， | 28Just as it was in the days of Lot: people ate and drank, they bought and sold, planted and built. |
| 29但在罗特从索多玛出来的那天，火及硫磺自天降下，消灭了所有的人： | 29But on the day Lot left Sodom, God made fire and sulfur rain down from heaven which destroyed them all. |
| 30在人子显现的日子里，也要这样。 | 30So will it be on the day the Son of Man is revealed. |
| 31在那一日，那在屋顶上，而他的器具在屋内的，不要下来取；那在田地里的，同样不要回来。 | 31On that day, if you are on the rooftop, don't go down into the house to get your belongings, and if you happen to be in the fields, do not turn back. |
| 32你们要记得罗特的妻子！ | 32Remember Lot's wife. |
| 33不论谁，若想保全自己的性命，必要丧失性命；凡丧失性命的，必要保存性命。 | 33Whoever tries to save his life will lose himself, but whoever gives his life will be born again. |
| 34我告诉你们：在这一夜，两个人同在一张床上，一个要被提去，而一个要被遗弃； | 34I tell you, though two men are sharing the same bed, it may be that one will be taken and the other left. |
| 35两个女人一起推磨，一个要被提去，而一个要被遗弃。」＊ | 35Though two women are grinding corn together, one may be taken and the other left." |
| 37他们问耶稣说：「主，在那里呢？」耶稣回答说：「在那里有尸体，老鹰就聚集在那里。」 | 36Then they asked Jesus, "Where will this take place, Lord?" And he answered, "Where the body is, there too will the vultures gather." |
